I stayed here recently with friends and family. We have small children, and the place seems a lot bigger than the actual square footage. Great layout, kids loved the areas, really appreciate the gate to prevent the little ones from climbing the stairs.
This was a nice brief getaway as our home was affected by Beryl and lost power. We didn't hear a lot from management which was good and bad. Communication was hit and miss. They either responded quick, or not at all.
Cooking supplies are bare minimum, so if you come here planning on cooking, stop by and get some basic needs, i.e. condiments.
The floors are stained concrete. We don't wear shoes in the house routinely, and our feet were black by the end of the night. They could use a good mopping.
Neighborhood was quaint. The community pools (2) are nearby and kept clean. On the smaller side. You have to drive out of the neighborhood to reach the beaches, which are a very close drive. Need to purchase permits to park on the beach, but not sure if they really check much. House has wake boards and not much else, so bring your beach things, including toys, chairs, towels. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand, which is nice.
It'd be nice if they provided more towels. Nice balcony area, but could use a fan for the hot, humid days and to keep away the bugs.Very nice open living space, large eating table. All in all, would recommend, just for the house itself which is very charming and nicely, if not overly, decorated.

We had a wonderful time in the house - the layout made it easy for lots of game playing and World Cup viewing when we weren’t at the beach. Great location. Things I would suggest for improvement are chests of drawers for storing clothes. We all had to live out of our suitcases, which was not convenient. Kitchen is moderately equipped. 3 wine glasses are not enough. Cutting board was warped and unusable. No can opener. Would have been nice to have a dust mop to keep up with the sand on the floor. Relatively small things on the scheme of it all, but they were noticeably absent or inconvenient. Dishwasher leaked significantly toward the end of our stay and 1/2 bath toilet was malfunctioning from day 1.

Beautiful rental! Good location, homes are a tad to close to each other. The 5th closet/ bedroom w bunk beds is not bad. There was a full and twin which was great! Not just 2 twins. It is connected to the upstairs living room and the Port A bedroom. Very convenient that each bedroom except the bunk bed room had a restroom connected. Very spacious, we really enjoyed ourselves will definitely come back!

Sandfest blast
We had 3 families comfortably stay in this beautiful home. The patio was a great hangout and the upstairs was the parents runaway. Our dogs were welcome! Grill and full kitchen was great!

Loved the house
The house was perfect for our family. My husband uses a cane, and the downstairs master bed/bath, was easily accessible to the kitchen/living/dining open concept. We parked in the front, and had a short walk into the house. We will definitely rent again....

This is our third visit to Sirena Azul. We love the floor plan of this rental. The location is great even though we cannot see the water from the balcony (only a strip). It's an excellent choice if someone in the party is physically challenged...entrance is on the ground floor and a master suite is on the first floor. After the past three visits since 2016, we would suggest new mattresses for all the bedrooms. Other than that, everything is wonderful.

House was an excellent fit for our stay and the decor was beautiful but there are a few suggestions I want to share. Toilet needs a better cleaning under the rim, rug on first floor bathroom needs to be cleaned, bbq grills need to be cleaned, there was too much grease buildup where we couldn’t use them, saw a few small roaches in bathrooms, need new pans because Teflon is scraped off, found a few cans of empty beers in balcony. Just needs a better cleaning job but overall the place was a good fit for us.

Port A or Bust
Sierena Azul is accurately described and pictures do not do it justice. It’s way better in person. So very comfortable, so very warm and homey. Very very spacious. We were a party of 14 and still had a bed available. Multiple full restrooms. High end washer and dryer. But most of all an A/C that kept up with that Texas summer heat. Already making plans to return next Summer.

This was our 3rd winter at Serena Azul. We like the location and size of this property as we have guests and family visit. We love the outdoor patio upstairs. Over the course of the 3 years we have noticed a deterioration in the furnishings and cleanliness. The rug in the living area was filthy and the floor did not appear to be thoroughly mopped. The couches are very uncomfortable and being cloth I question if they are cleaned on a regular basis. The same feather pillows for 3 years. Are they ever laundered? I washed multiple dishes, silver ware, and baking pans out of the cupboards and drawers before they could be used. We initially rebooked the house because we did not want to be without a place for 2022. We found a place about a month later and when we cancelled with Starkeys they withheld $200.00 of our $600.00 deposit. Seemed a little excessive to us since we cancelled early. We were charged on our credit card for the unit next door to us in VW. This was corrected after we brought it to their attention. Not happy with this! Overall we liked the property but feel if the price is going to increase, some changes need to be made.

It's a little misleading that there is a gulf view. Technically there is a small area between two houses that let you see the water but not really what I would call a gulf view. We had neighbors arrive the day before we left and they partied all afternoon and into the night. We don't ordinarily mind that but they got loud and at 11:00 my daughter in law opened the door and shushed them. They went inside. I guess the question is what do we do or who do we call for that kind of thing? All in all, it was a great family vacation. Thanks

We had a fantastic stay at Sirena Azul. It was exactly as described, and parts even better than expected. Three families (11 total) had plenty of room. The downstairs living / dining / kitchen is open and perfect for everyone sitting around and being in the kitchen preparing dinner. Very well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/glasses etc. It was the perfect gathering spot.
We really loved the upstairs separate area for the kids. There is a separate living area off a Queen bedroom and what they call a "bunk Closet". We expected this to be IN one of the other rooms but it is actually a (tiny) room to itself. Easy to sleep 5 kids without even using an Air Mattress in common room. The two upstairs bedrooms both have en suites and are nice.
The upstairs covered deck/lounge area was a huge hit. There was ample room for parking 3 cars and a golf cart using the accessible garages which is nice.
It really was a beautiful place with great little touches and decor. Will Definitely book this place again! a small trash can to hold a couple of trash bags overnight before you walk them to the dumpster might be a great addition.

This house was very well stocked with most everything you could need. Lots of room and comfortable beds. AC worked great on both levels. Third story balcony was fantastic place to hang out and chill. My only complaint was that we were told there was a grill on property which there was, but it was so so tiny. When your grilling for a dozen people something more substantial is needed.

My family stayed in this same floor plan last year at a different house and it works great for us. Everyone loved the swinging day beds on tge porch. Unfortunately it was not very clean. The floors were gritty, one of the shiwers had a hair in it and we saw 3 roaches. It also beeds some maintenance ib the bath/showers and sticking doors. I also had to call for dishwasher pods which never shiwed Not sure if we’ll return to this house ir the previous house or the previous house.

This place is just as good as it looks in photos. We had 6) adults and 6) kids and had plenty of space. Courtyard is landscaped better than most. This unit of Village walk has 2 garages, 2 parking spaces in front of garages on drive, and 2 parking spaces on street in front of house that many units don't have so the parking situation is better as well.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Sirena Azul. It was spacious, kept up nicely & in a great location. The only comment we have is that the one upstairs bathroom should have a notice that if the liner of the shower/tub is not inside the tub it will leak & cause drips into the kitchen area downstairs. This created a panic on our side & a quick call to the management office. We were informed management was aware of this issue already. I would say just make the guests aware of it so they know to prevent the issue. Other than that, my friends already said they want to rent this property for our annual trip next year! We loved the upstairs patio!!!

It was a great house, great rooms and design. But the walk to the actual beach entrance was a bit lengthy, 15 minutes. Longer than what was assumed since it appears to be right on the beach in photos. When calling about where to bring trash, the first person had no idea, saying that each house had its own trash can and to bring it there. The second knew where the dumpster was and was very helpful.
