This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property and it’s always very nice. We have never had any issues. We came during a heat wave and they had the ac on for our arrival. The staircase is a little quirky but it adds to the charm.

My flight was cancelled due to horrific snow in Portland. I was able to easily change the reservation over to my sister and her husband as they were coming for the same reason as I. Everyone was very helpful and my sister raves about the cleanliness and location and wonderful correspondence with the owners. Perfect!

First time staying in this suite and was not disappointed. Everything about this suite seemed new. The appliances were great and the added touches, ie coffee and wine, were nice to arrive to. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property for several days on our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was the perfect size for the two of us, with enough space if one wanted to stay up later or such without disturbing the other person. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. There are several bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance and Newberg was a great base for our wine tasting adventures. There was even a bottle of wine and some local coffee to welcome us!

Nice stay in wine country
My husband and I enjoyed having this as our base as we explored the Willamette valley. Liked having the kitchenette. I never could get into the internet on the smart tv though I tried a couple of different ways. We were within east walking distance to downtown.

Located in the heart of Newberg
Safety issues with stairs. The Management staff was not good in communication. We were locked out due to a IT upgrade on the exterior locks and Management failed to notify us. Cleaning people trying to help us got locked out with us as they failed to notify the IT change on locks. No follow up. Bathroom is slippery in the shower, lack of towels for a weeks stay. Stairs leading into the Unit treacherous for people with disabilities as my husband has a fused back. Very disappointed. Having to drag garbage down that monstrous staircase. Street noise was incredible. Wireless Internet was spotty. The AC/Heater Explanation on use was lacking and it was trial and error. I called to ask, no one ever returned the call. Would never stay there again. Our daughter lives in Newberg so you have lost a repeat customer.

VERY clean and well-located
This is a renovated vintage property. Everything was extremely clean. Lots of light from the windows and a nice view of Newberg's charming downtown. As mentioned in the description, it is a little loud, but it's manageable. Great location, walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants, and food carts in Newberg and a short drive to pretty wine country scenery.

Fantastic Newberg Stay
I have stayed at the Yamhill Flats twice now and loved it both times. Noise
Noisy. This is a small town but the location is directly located by the highway. Large trucks drive through at all hours of day and night as this is in the middle of farm country.

The flat was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The street noise wasn't terrible, but earplugs were provided. We enjoyed walking to the local restraunts.Overall we enjoyed the stay. A lamp on or over the table by the couch would be nice.

Nice flat - a little loud
We really enjoyed the flat - great location, nice flat and great location. Only thing that we had a problem with is the noise of the busy road on Friday morning. Saturday was fine, but a lot of traffic on the road next to the end of the building made Friday morning a little early to wake up.

Very disappointed!
On arrival we found the street closed in front of our unit requiring us to park a block away. We stood on the sidewalk in front of the unit for 30 minutes waiting for the key to the unit. The street remained closed for the three days we stayed with a farmers market and craft sales the first day and Live Band, Beer Garden, Barbecue and other venders and entertainment the next two days with a row of portable restrooms on the closed street under our windows. The apartment was very nice but the air conditioner malfunctioned and the refrigerator took two days to make a small number of ice cubes. My Wife has C.O.P.D and is on oxygen and we were not aware the unit was on the second floor with a long set of stairs and no elevator. We were also charged for staines on a towel and wash cloth that were not caused by us.

Better than any hotel - Great for family!
The Yamhill Flats were a wonderful place for my family to stay during our weekend trip to Newberg. We were interested in visiting the town and the nearby brewery, Wolves and People. We were happy to find a place that was more of an apartment instead of a hotel. We have an 18month old and it was perfect for him to sleep separated from our room so we could still drink wine, watch TV and enjoy our evening. Not possible in a one room hotel… The apartment was outfitted with all the kitchen essentials so we could prepare meals for the little one and we also ended up cooking a big breakfast one morning. Going out to eat was easy too, since we were situated in the heart of downtown. One morning we ventured to the local library, just two blocks away, where the baby got to play with some new friends. Afterwards, we took a trip to the playground that was on the same property. Baby activities during the day and then wining and dining at night! It was an easy vacation for our family and we hope to visit again soon.
