We had a good week with family! Being able to walk out door to beach was amazing. The pool was nice and Yoyo’s bar and restaurant was amazing, the food is great and Yoyo and her staff are very kind!! Thank you!

Wonderful location right on the beach. The community pool with food and bar is a short, at most 2 minute walk up the beach. The house was clean and Roberto was incredibly helpful! He was able to get me in touch with a masseuse, personal chef, and even arranged a taxi and dinner reservations for our group. Roberto made the trip extra special!

Magical trip and an amazing home to vacation in!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time visit to Costa Rica. The accommodations were wonderful and the views from the house are magnificent. We definitely rent this house again.

My family and I really enjoyed this house and location. The property manager, Roberto was amazing and he made our trip very stress free. The community is great for the family and the simple walk to the beach or pool, made for great lazy days. We will definitely be staying here again and we enjoyed ourselves more than when we stayed at Los Sueños Marriott Resort and Marina! Pura Vida and we highly recommend this property!

We travelled from Westchester NY and spent 4 days in this magnificent REAL beachfront home.. there is nothing that comes close to watching the spectacular sunsets right from your backyard.. to then wake up and have breakfast watching the waves right in front of your window.. the house was clean, perfectly located (only about one hour and a half from the San Jose airport), close to Jaco and the Marriot Los Sueños.. secluded beach in a wonderful community.. everything simply perfect.. The owners response was perfect, and most importantly.. Roberto, the house manager was fenomenal.. he welcomed us, made sure everything worked and came by every day to check that everything was Pura Vida...

Had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. The food and drinks at YoYo’s were amazing. Had family pictures made at the property that turned out great! Roberto was a huge help to have with recommendations on restaurants, activities and taught the kids to surf! The beach massage was very enjoyable and booking this property with Kathy was so simple. Definitely going to visit again!

Driving in to the property gave a great impression walking into the house was amazing. The ooen floor plan, all the windows..I felt relaxed just walking into the house. Sitting on the patio with my morning coffee soaking in the view of the surf is indescribable. The property is in close proximity to the community pool and seim up bar. You might think you wont use it, but you’ll be surprised. I suggest you try the mango margueritas! Close to Jaco for great restaurants and shopping. My husband and I are already planning anothe trip.

This house is so beautiful with the ocean views at every angle. Roberto is amazing, the best concierge ever! YoYo’s pool bar has excellent food, music and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back.

WOW WOW WOW!! The location is unbelievably perfect, beach right out on front and relaxing sounds of ocean. We came all the way from Israel for a surf vacation and the house is right on the best surf spot in the area. Short walk to the beach club with great community pool, convenience store, a swim up bar, board rental on site, massages. The house is beautifully set up with excellent taste, super clean, super comfortable and maintained lovely. The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances and there is a great grill outdoor. Roberto is literally the BEST host ever!! He his so enthusiastic and welcoming, he took care of us during our whole stay, gave great recommendations and made us feel at home all the time. Such a great personality!!!! Our vacation was such a dream so we actually stayed 4 more days. Thank you Roberto and the owners for memories for a lifetime! We will Come back for sure!!

This is exactly what we were looking. Right on the beach. Great manager who knew everyone in town. Personal highlights were the personal Chef Jason, Monkey Man Tour, Alligator Tour, Rainmaker hike, Quad riding and zip-line. Great beach chairs.

We had a great time in Costa Rica. The property was great, located right on the beach. Roberto, the Property Manager was fantastic. He not only took care of our needs at the house he gave our daughters surfing lessons, and helped schedule other adventure tours we could take. Every morning we woke up to an awesome view of the ocean and a relaxing walk on the black sand beaches! It was also a short walk to the pool where YoYo provided fantastic food and drinks. Dealing directly with Kathi (the owner) directly was a pleasant experience.... House, location, customer service, staff of Playa Hermosa, were extremely professional, all met our expectations and then some....Roberto is the best friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to making your vacation special. YoYo's food and her staff make the community pool area the best place to eat and hang out.....so many nice people there...hated to leave such a beautiful place and our new friends....we will be back.....

Comfortable home on the oceanfront. Short walk to the lovely Beach Club with pool and swim up restaurant for a snack or meal. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this house for 9 days and really enjoyed the beauty and location. The house is right on the beach with an excellent Security staff on duty 24 hours a day. We loved the pool with the swim up bar and its friendly staff with the best fish taco's anywhere. i would highly recommend this location.

The location is in a secluded area which adds to the charm. The property manager was extremely helpful and more than accommodating. You literally open the back door and you are on the beach. The pool has a swim up bar and you can get a massage right on the beach. Very relaxing and easy to get to main attractions and towns in the area. I definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Being able to step out onto the beach was amazing. Their manager, Roberto, was super helpful and friendly. Our kids really loved taking lessons from him and Marie. They can’t wait to go back!!!

The was clean and nice and everything i needed. I like that it was far enough from Jaco to feel isolated but still only a short drive to get to the market of the restaurants in the city. I would highly recommend.

The only complaint I have is that I didn't stay longer. First and foremost, the location of this property is incredible. I loved waking every morning and stepping out the doors onto the sand for a morning cup of coffee. This home has a wonderful warm comfortable vibe. I immediately felt at home and welcome. The hosts have taken the time to provide a great book of things to do, from zip lining, to having a personal chef come in and prepare a gourmet meal. The town of Jaco is close enough for shopping, dining and adventure. The community pool, which is beautiful and has a great swim up bar with excellent drinks and food is only a short lovely stroll along the sand from the house. Really, this property had everything I was looking for. Location, great accommodations and the sand and ocean directly out front. While there is plenty of things to do, this is also a great place to go and do nothing. I highly recommend this property.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in this beautiful beachfront home in Hermosa Palms, the tree-lined gated condominium community about 15 minutes drive south of Jaco along Playa Hermosa. The development has a community pool area with a swim-up bar where food and drinks can be enjoyed. (The fish tacos are delicious!) A pool house was well under construction when we visited during the winter of 2017. The single-floor house itself is very comfortably appointed with a large sectional sofa in the living area that opens up past the Costa Rican-styled dining area to a room-width floor-to-ceiling picture window with sliding doors to the stone patio and the black sand beach literally steps beyond. A black stone counter top surrounds the kitchen with stools along a breakfast bar. The electric range and stove works very well and the refrigerator dispenses cold water and ice. All very convenient. There are three very comfortable bedrooms in the house. A master with a king bed and a master bathroom, a second bedroom with one queen bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. There is a also a second bathroom off the hallway next to the third bedroom. The master bedroom shares the same view of the beach as the main living area does. ***You will wake up with coconut palm trees framing the view of the ocean every morning through the window of this room.*** You may think you're dreaming, but you're not. This is a real place. Air conditioners are thoughtfully installed in every room in the house. Even during the peak heat of the day, the house could be kept at a very comfortable temperature. There is a large television in the living room, and the secure Wi-Fi connection is strong and reliable. The ocean temperature hovers consistently at about 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It's the warmest ocean water I've ever been in and I couldn't get enough of it. This a great beach for surfing, and when the tide goes out it's a great beach for swimming, too. At sunset, the magic is indescribable. Walk out onto the patio - or take the stairs from the patio to the upstairs deck complete with pergola - and soak it all in. You won't believe your eyes. (I'm still reeling from it!) Lastly, the owners express a genuine concern for the comfort of their guests and are a pleasure to work with. I'm already looking forward to our next visit to paradise.

This beach house was amazing. It is fairly secluded, meaning the beaches are not full of people. There are a decent number of semi-permanent and regular owners in the housing community that give it a "neighborhood" feel. The house is perfect. An incredible view out of the dining room, which leads directly out onto the beach. The house is air-conditioned (important during the hot months), has three nice-sized bedrooms (the master is amazing!), a nice kitchen and even a washer/dryer. We loved our vacation. My 10 yr. old daughter spent most of her time wandering the beach or in the community pool, which has a swim-up bar with the proprieter offering a decent selection of drinks and food for all ages. The ocean was warm (I'm used to SoCal) and a bit rough at times, but not so bad to keep you out. We had a little bit of rain almost every day during our July vacation, but only 1 day when it rained most of the day. None of the rain was enough to keep us from venturing out. This vacation was definitely the most relaxing, enjoyable trip we have taken as a family. I would not hestitate to recommend to anyone looking for an amazing beach experience. Pura Vida!

Having stayed off the beach during two previous visits, this house was a perfect fit for what we love to do. Even when cooling off in the AC or enjoying a sandwich at lunch time, the view of the crashing waves and blue sky never grew old. Our kids played on the beach like it was their back yard and the surf, once again, didn't disappoint. With plenty of well appointed space, the house worked well for us. Considering "fair balance", there were a few minor issues but more importantly, the owner & the local team were quick to respond and rectify. We can only hope to return as it was one of our favorite vacations so far. Pura Vida

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have asked for anything better! The home was even more incredible in person than it looked in the pictures. We woke up to a gorgeous view of the ocean from the master bedroom every morning. The ocean was literally steps aways from the patio and the water was 87 degrees and stayed that temperature for our entire trip. I had never felt water that warm in my entire life which is why we spent so much time in the water. But when we wanted a break from the warmth, we just walked a few feet away back to the completely air conditioned house to lounge on the couch and watch a bit of tv, make some drinks, have some snacks and the go back out. There is also a beautiful pool with a swim up bar just a few houses away so you have the best of both worlds with a pool or an ocean for whatever feel in the mood for. We had the best time ever and will definitely being going back and would not stay anywhere else!!!

This beautiful home is exactly what I was looking for to relax and unwind. I love the open floor plan and the rooftop balcony. Located on the beach with a tremendous surf break, this is a surfers paradise. The community pool only 100 yards away is one of the best I have seen. The bar is perfectly located so you can either walk or swim to it. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly, making you feel like you've been friends for years. If its retail therapy, nightlife or great bars and restaurants you are looking for, Jaco is a short drive away. I cannot wait to return.

Seriously THEE best spot! Right on the beach, beautiful accomedations, clean, air conditioned! The perfect spot! The town of Jaco is minutes away. A beautiful pool with a great bar that serves food is just a short walk down the beach! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!

This was an awesome house right on a gorgeous beach! You never need to leave unless you want to see the town and culture! Great vacation place where you can walk to a huge pool with a swim up bar and great fish tacos! I will surely return to this slice of paradise!

This is a very nice, comfortable home right on the beach in stunning Hermosa Palms. Literally you walk out the front door and into the beach. Once you're here, there is no need to leave unless you want to grab some homemade cinnamon roles at the delicious Bluegrass Cafe right down the street. With a nice beach walk to Vista Hermosa bar, you can watch the local weekly surf competition every Saturday. There is a full kitchen and the rental company can stock the fridge for you prior to arrival. The maid, Leo, can come in and cook breakfast or clean the house for a very reasonable price. Great place, great location and great value. I will be back for sure!
