We always enjoy staying in this house! The location is great, house is super clean and well stocked and fishing pier is a must! Thank you, John, for letting us stay at your house!

For a quick getaway on the Gulf, we decided to book on the water, in the bay. Dickinson bay is beautiful. From beginning to end, our host was timely and professional, answering every question and helping more than he had to. The property is very well maintained especially considering the area is right on the water. The home itself is cozy, a bit of a man cave vibe, but perfect for a family, or an individual on an adventure. The lit fishing peir was a hit with the whole family, and we caught lots of fish. We found the guide booklet our host keeps in the kitchen super helpful. Close proximity to stores and restaurants. My favorite part was the cool ocean breeze, nearly putting me to sleep on the upper back patio.

We all loved our stay. The kids enjoyed the fishing pier and the game room. My mother is in a wheelchair so the extra bed downstairs was perfect for her with a half restroom. Mr. John was very helpful any questions we had he answered right away. Me and family will definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay for two weeks. Our host John Dues really took care of us and made sure everything was in order for us. He even came later in the week to set up another bed for us as my son and his friend came to stay for a couple of days. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the large deck and had coffee and our lunch out at the picnic table. We had a nice dock to fish from and caught some nice fish. I cannot say enough good things about this house and our host. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Wonderful, easy, always pleasant, good fishing and location. We brought our own (non-motorized) boats and plunked them in at dock. Responsive owner. Private dock, comfortable home. We appreciated owner's recent improvements . (Hesitant to share this review because it might be booked next time we want it!)

Great house with helpful host and great fishing

Loved the location, great host! My family really enjoyed the place, and had lots of fun fishing with the fam. I would highly recommend it!!

Everything was nice and clean. The house was perfect for entertaining. It had a nice upper deck overlooking the bay. Would defiantly go back. Great location to bring your boat for fishing.

As advertised. John was helpful and responsive. The house was exactly like the pictures and came with everything we needed. Fishing off the pier was great, would book again.

I love staying at this house. The owner is super nice and if you ever have an issue he is right on it. Very clean and comfortable.

We had an awesome stay. We took this mini vacay to just relax. This place allowed us to relax and I highly recommend top water grill.

The house was exactly as advertised. Quite neighborhood, beautiful deck and atmosphere. John was the best. Last minute adjustments did not phase him and he is very responsive. When we learned some friends would be in the area as well, John extended his hospitability and allowed them to spend the evening with us. Then, when our daughters travel was delayed and she needed a place to stay near Hobby, John extended his hospitality without hesitation. Cannot say enough about how well the stay was and the unparalleled hospitality John showed us. I am very grateful to him for all he did to make that weekend very memorable for all of us. Highly recommended stay. Thanks again john!

Perfect location for July 4th fireworks and family fishing trip. John was helpful and there were easy to follow instructions at the house. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. Pier was awesome. Bait store close. Only frustration was cockroaches in the kitchen at night, however, running the dish washer kept them at bay and many houses on the coast have them. Difficult to control once they are around. Game room nice. Bring your own board games.

Nice little getaway on the bay. Wide range of fish caught due to brackish water. Enjoyed the house very much.

We enjoyed our stay in San Leon. This property was perfect for me and my daughter and her family. I took the separate room downstairs and they had the upper main floor. It took a bit more planning to allow everyone time in the one full bathroom, but we managed easily. The ceiling fan in the bath was nice. I did miss not having a comfortable chair in my apartment where I could read or see the tv.. the beds were all comfortable, especially on the upper floor. The deck was really lovely and provided some great views. We enjoyed the layout of the kitchen but were disappointed with the efficiency of the dishwasher. We caught a few fish from the pier. Some parents will not be comfortable letting their kids venture out alone to fish, but having the whole family out there together was great._if you hire a fishing guide out of San Leon, chances are you can be picked up right from the dock. We would love to visit here again and recommend this place to other small groups or families.

This place is very nice and comfortable for the family. We didn't use the game room at all, but it was available and looked fun. We spent our time on the pier with fishing rods in hand. Neat, clean and up-to-date. Enjoyable and comfortable!

Came for 5 nights , was nice and quiet . Did some fishing , caught a lot of little ones that will be big someday. Was still fun. The house was pretty equipped with most of everything., would like to return

It was a beautiful place! We enjoyed it so much! My and husband favorite spot was the desk. The kids favorite was the fishing pier.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We fished the entire time we were there. The lighted pier is great for night fishing. We caught a black drum, flounder and some hard heads. My kids really enjoyed fighting those fish and getting them up on the deck.

We are enjoyed staying here. It is an excellent location with a beautiful dock. We caught some big back drum at the pier. The owner is friendly; he comes to help us bring down the bed. There are two bathrooms, but only one has a shower. The house has everything you need for cooking. I will come back when I have a chance. Highly recommend

My family and I stayed at this property due to its convenience to Kemah Boardwalk and the Johnson Space Center. In addition, being right on the bay was extremely convenient for fishing with my boys. For that reason alone, it was money well spent and the proximity to grocery stores and restaurants was great! Unfortunately, it was cold and dreary the days we stayed, but the house was so well insulated that even with the cold, it was always comfortable inside and did not require us to crank up the heat! I expect that during hot days, the house will also feel cool and comfortable without having to crank the AC. For the money, it was a great choice for my family and great proximity to any places you'd need to travel to for food and fun.

The quite relaxing atmosphere was breathtaking! Will definitely be back! We hade lots of fun fishing off the pier. The whole family enjoyed! Thanks
