Very nice house with a lot of accessibilities. The views were amazing! Quick access to entertainment and food. 10/10 would stay again!

The property was everything advertised. Nice, clean, private place with good sized fenced yard with private pier. Would have liked hand-rails on pier walkway. The only negative was being surprised by the lawn crew showing up unannounced. I was fishing out on the pier and my wife relaxing on the covered patio when a guy suddenly appears in the back mowing. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. We would do it again.

The house was perfect for our needs.

Upon arrival didn't seem like much however the pier offered an excellent time fishing if that's what you're into. We are able to catch some bull red as well as surprisingly flounder. The house was well equipped in very clean. Everybody had a place to stay sleep and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Contact to the property owner was a breeze and extremely pleasant. Would not hesitate to rent this place again do another fishing trip.

We stayed through new years weekend. The fishing was good. Would recommend this property and would take future vacations here.

I would stay here again! Not too far to Galveston and the place has everything you need

This is our fourth stay at this property and we love coming back to this place in San Leon to fish and enjoy the water front view. The new Pier 6 restaurant is also a short walk away. Highly recommend this place for family and friends! Great host and everything was perfect!

We had a very comfortable stay. The water view was great. House was clean and well placed.

Very nice house, we enjoyed our stay very much. If lights would be installed on the dock, I would really love this place. But, overall we had a great time fishing off the dock during the daytime.

Just need your clothes and food, house was well stocked and comfortable.

We had such a good time at this house! Everything was perfect. The full sized bed was really comfortable. The mattress felt like it might be new but I’m not sure. There was plenty of towels (we use a lot of towels in our family). The kitchen was fully stocked so, had I wanted to cook on vacation, I could’ve. We loved sitting on the covered back porch and watching it rain. The mornings were so peaceful and relaxing. My husband did a lot of fishing off of the pier behind the house but only caught 1 fish. My only complaint is that it really isn’t 3 bedrooms like the listing says. There are 3 sleeping areas but 1 of them is in the living room. We only needed 2 bed rooms but just a heads up to someone looking for 3. One more thing to give a heads up about....the shower head is really low. One of us is only 5’4” and had to bend down to rinse her hair. The water pressure was awesome though. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the property was easy to find. If we ever get to go back, we will look for this listing first.

This house was clean, quiet and well stocked. It was fun to watch the ships passing in Galveston Bay. We would rent this house again!

Loved the location and fishing pier

Our family enjoyed this place. Relaxing away from the city life. Had a great time fishing with the family and Enjoyed the gulf bay breeze at the back patio. The place needed some update but we didnt care about those little things because we came out here to relax and fish.

No hassle renting, will be back for a weekend get away

The property was good, in an nice quiet area if you are looking to relax. My husband and kids enjoyed the pier and fishing and the back yard was big enough for my dog to run. The only couple of concerns I got was that cleanness of the house, I had to wash every plate and pot I got. There were some doors in the hall way that were falling off. The property is not a 3 bedroom house. It’s a 3 room house but not 3 bedroom. One of the bedrooms it’s were you get inside the house so no privacy and the 2nd bedroom has the 2 twin beds so we couldn’t use it for me and my husband. The living area it’s big with a big kitchen and nice dining room. The house had everything to cook. My family and I had a nice time.

Great place to stay, fair price.

The house was perfect for my wife and our pups. We were on a two day business trip and wanted a relaxing waterfront home. It was exactly as presented. Roomy for the two of us. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was helpful and accommodating. Nice to watch the sunrise.

My husband and I came for a 2 day stay. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the home and the pier. Great home for a small group wanting to fish. Home had everything you could need. Great communication with owner of home. Our only issue was the pier. Had a beam broken so we were apprehensive about getting across in one area of the pier, but all was well. Great communication with owner regarding issue. Looking forward to going again when cooler and enjoying some more fishing on the pier.

We were overall disappointed with the property. There was only one double bed and three twin beds. We slept one night on the double and it was terrible. We spent the next 6 nights sleeping on the Futon in the living room(this was only slightly better than the double). The mattress on the double was shot and had a 1 inch foam pad covering the mattress. The kitchen was well stocked, but many items were dirty and we had to clean whatever we used first. There were ants in the kitchen. The front door lock broke and we had to use the back door to get in after we called the owner to let them know. This was not fun in the rain. The furniture in the living room was not in good condition. The "Lazy Boy" type chair had the right arm almost coming off. The only thing we really enjoyed was setting on the back porch and enjoying the view of the bay. The chairs on the back porch also need to be cleaned and some replaced. Also as a side note, the hot water was extremely hot and could easily burn a small child or an adult who did not have fast reflexes.

The trip we had was great. Nice long pier to fish from and even caught a few fish. 8, threw back several small ones....There were two crab traps when we arrived owner let us have the 12 crab inside.. and caught like 8 more ...just throw traps out with fish head or chicken leg...Did rain a couple days but we expected that anyway....House was good and clean plenty of towels and tons of dishes and pans.... Owner does answer pretty quick if message sent... So will see someday about returning... Thanks Evan

Our family had a fantastic time on this weekend getaway. As soon as we opened the door we felt like we were at home. The Rossi family has certainly helped make lots of memories that we will share for a very long time to come. We will be back and are looking forward to it. Thank you so much for having us, we loved it!

Great home to stay in that is close to Galveston. We caught fish every night out on the dock. We really enjoyed staying here.

It was what we were looking for.

The house was nice and much better than staying in a hotel like we usually do on vacation. It is in a quiet neighborhood and has it's own fishing pier so you can just relax and fish if that's what you're looking to do on your trip. There is a small amusement park nearby at Kemah, Tx that has a few rides if you have kids. The fishing wasn't great when we were there, but there were a lot of storms so that could be the reason. We mostly only caught small catfish and a few stingrays. Overall it was a nice, relaxing trip.

My sister and I enjoy fishing and decided on this rental because it was not too big and right on the water. The house is clean, comfortable, and roomy. The fishing pier is about 500 feet into the water and is great for fishing. If you like to crab, there are plenty out there to be had but bring a long net, because if the tide is low you can't reach in the water. Had a great vacation. I have already suggested this place to family and will no doubt return. The only complaint is that maintenance needs to replace numerous burned-out bulbs, and fix the back screen door because it won't shut.

Very relaxing

Had a great time with my boys. The place is the perfect fishing haven. We even caught a 35 lbs drum off the dock. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed the house. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The fishing pier was the highlight of the trip. Our grandson loved it. The neighborhood is very nice and is a quiet well-kept area.

We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to stay again in the future. The home is just perfect and the view is fabulous.
