The location cannot be beat as you can just walk out your front door and your are in the heart of Gruene. Condo is clean and well-stocked with all the amenities. We had 5 adults with plenty of room. If you book thru VRBO the rental property is very responsive. Within walking distance from the Gruene restaurants, shops and Gruene Hall. Considering the heat in TX it was nice having a pool to cool off in between outings. The path to the river is quite steep going down and back up but a another way to enter the river without having to float. Rockin R tube rentals is directly across the river. Great place! I definitely recommend and would come back!

Great location
We have stayed in several condos at Village at Gruene. We love the location and will stay here again. We like the bed set up of this unit since we do not travel with children and there are not bunk beds. While the interior of this unit is nice, the outside needs maintenance. The shrubs outside the balcony need trimming and trash needs to be picked up. The banisters are in need of repair, exterior needs painting and the pool area needs a lot of repairs. Hopefully some of these will get attention before our next trip :)
