This stay was exactly what we needed for our family wedding at The Pavilion at Pirates Cove! Stunning views and close to everything you need.

We were super happy with our rental. Check-in/out were easy. Location was perfect. My son loved having a TV in his room, and pac man! The hammock outside was amazing in the AM!

Beautiful home in a wonderful location!

It was comfortable. All appliances worked great. The views were wonderful. We have a truck so parking was tight. I like to cook on a visit so there were several kitchen items I would have liked but improvised. Overall we enjoyed our time there

The home was so lovely. Beds super comfy and home was very clean. Our group of 6 had adequate seating and a breathtaking view while we enjoyed this amazing home. Can’t wait to return.

My husband, my daughter and her husband, and I stayed Friday and Saturday night. She was a bridesmaid in a local wedding and we attended a rehearsal dinner party and the wedding right there in Manteo at the Basnight and Vista Creek respectively. It was a rainy weekend (Ophelia) but it turned out to be beautiful and a fantastic weekend. Great hospitality. We will definitely return someday.

Beautifully maintained, porches are incredible and the views are gorgeous. Nice clubhouse and community pool. The owners are quite responsive as well should you have questions.

Pleasant home with great view and nice community. Enjoyed walking the boardwalk loop every day.

We stayed at this property for my son's 50th birthday celebration. It was just my husband, daughter and myself staying, but due to the rain and weather conditions it ended up being a great gathering place for my 2 sons, grandson and daughter-in-law. Very roomy and open floor plan. Great place to stay.

Our stay was planned around a work event in Tyrrell County. I couldn’t be more excited when I came across this listing. Absolutely beautiful view with a gorgeous sunrise. We could not stop taking pictures. It was that beautiful. The home exceeded our expectations. With a glass of wine and not a care in the world, we relaxed on a hammock overlooking the canal. The home was extremely clean and provided all the necessities needed to feel at home. Check in was extremely easy. Melvin and Leslie were amazing. They were just a phone call away if needed. Mimi’s Tiki Hut (walking distance), had the best island cocktails in Dare County! So yummy! The crab cakes at Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar (next door to Mimi’s) were fantastic! Highly recommend. We repeat this event annually and we look forward to coming back and hopefully staying at the Lewis’s home again. :) Thank you again, Melvin and Leslie, for opening your home to us.

The owners were amazing! We had a few questions and they were quick to respond and extremely nice. The house was perfect for our quick weekend getaway.

The location of this home was perfect for us. My grandson enjoyed the park (very close to house) and the fishing from the pier right next to the house. This place is very close to the Aquarium, Elizabeth Gardens & Fort Raleigh. Also very close to other locations and beaches. It's in a gated community so we felt very safe. We're definitely coming back!

We were in town for a winter wedding so unfortunately we didn’t have time nor was the weather warm enough for us to take advantage of all the amenities this neighborhood and area have to offer. The house is comfortable and well equipped for a weekend or week away! The views from the back decks are spectacular! There are plenty of board games, a well stocked kitchen, and and ample room space. Thanks to the hosts for making our stay comfortable and welcoming!

Wonderful experience. The only thing I would add is hot tea bags for the non-coffee drinkers.

We travel to the area about 4-5 times each year and stay about a week each time while installing custom Kitchens. We've stayed at several locations during those visits and they all were really nice but I must say this experience has topped all. This home was awsome, the location was great and the neighborhood was gated but best of all the Management was incredible. I would reccomend anyone looking to stay in the area to try and stay at this home/location and furthermore every time we come to town for work or for vacation we will be booking this location. Thanks for such a wonderful exsperiance during our stay!!

Wife and I came down for the weekend and the stay was exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood is incredibly nice, and the house had everything we needed. I have never been to Roanoke Island in the OBX before and we will definitely be coming back. It’s a change of pace from the typical OBX trip, but we highly recommend it. Downtown Roanoke Island (less than a 10 minute drive) has some awesome restaurants and stores and we thought it was worth every penny. The home owners were incredibly responsive to all questions we had for the stay!

Another amazingly grand time at OBX thanks to the equally amazing Leslie for hosting us (yet again) at their lovely home. Very lucky and fortunate enough to have the house become available last-minute over the 4th of July holiday weekend; and the host did not dispappoint!! This was our second straight year staying at this house; but first time being in the Outer Banks during the 4th of July holiday. Watching the fireworks of Manteo from our private dock is a spectacular experience in itself, and one that we will cherish forever. We can't wait to plan and book again for 2023 :) THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Leslie, for your reception and your graciousness!! Hope to be back again real soon...

The location and house are excellent and the owner is extremely pleasant and accommodating. Family of 5 had a great time!

Great weather and great place to stay. Hopped in the boat and off we went fishing and just enjoying the water and places on the water to eat.

Such a peaceful location! The porches are amazing and we had so much fun relaxing in the hammocks, fishing on the pier, and just relaxing. Pool in neighborhood is awesome and dinner was excellent at Blue Water. We also had everything we could have needed inside the house for cooking and having a memorable trip!

Leslie is great.

This property was beautiful and the location was great. All bedrooms are downstairs and the kitchen and living room is upstairs. Be sure to bring extra towels. The owners were the best in responding to request and suggestions of what to do and see for the area. We will be back.
