Bienvenido a Lily Rock Lodge! Lily Rock Lodge se construyó en 1963 y tiene un plano de planta abierto espectacular y único con 2,700 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable. Our group of friends rents this home every year, and this year it was in BETTER condition, which made us happy! There were more "cleaning crew" touches, and the driveway and walk were shoveled - contrary to New Spirit policy! We were so thankful for that. Keep it up at Lily Rock!

I rented this cabin to celebrate my 50th birthday with my friends and it was perfect. We loved the layout of the house. Perfect community vibes with the very open space.The trails are up the street, the fireplace huge and the hottub has a gorgeous view of the mountain.

Beautiful setting with great views from deck. Very comfortable and clean. Home has pool table but location in front of wood burning fireplace is odd. Expedia confirmation shows check in at 3pm and check out 11am. These times change once payment is received-non refundable- to 4pm and 10am respectively. Best to read property contract before booking to avoid surprises.

Our family had a wonderful stay! We loved the hot tub and pool table most of all, but the creek out back gets honorable mention, too. My brother and I kept challenging eachother to cold plunges, and it was as cold as it was revitalizing. The kitchen was impressively stocked, so cooking meals was enjoyable and easy. Really neat coffee machine, too. And I thought being up in the mountains meant no wifi or streaming services, but I was wrong! So really, this place has it all.

The lodge was very well situated and stocked. The snow was incredible. We wish the previous visitors cleaned up after their dog on the patio. The spa was broken and had no power and no response from management company when contacted about it. Other than those minor details the location was as if we were deep in the wilderness and it was great for getting away from the city.

This property is managed by a vacation rental agency with its own agreements, policies, and in person check-in process in downtown Idyllwild FYI. Prior to arrival, I was told that three spaces would be available at the property but quickly came to find out that maintenance had barely shoveled out two true spaces, leaving me and my guests to shovel out parking spaces, the walkways, and access to the hot tub. Management wouldn’t help further, claiming they only guarantee one space for a house that fits 10 people…
Further, this property has a hot tub on the deck which we shoveled out and then only came to find out is broken after calling management late on Friday night. This was a huge reason why we booked this rental, and management didn’t even bother being honest and upfront about it being broken ahead of check-in. I am really disappointed with the lack of accuracy as well as having spent over $1500 for two nights to spend hours shoveling snow. I do not recommend renting, management clearly doesn’t care about guest experience at all.

Rustic Cozy Home
We had a very nice weekend with family for my husbands birthday. The kitchen was very well stocked and the space was perfect for our family. My only call out is that most of the sleeping arrangements are set up in a loft style area. Very comfy unless you have a family member who snores. 😊 otherwise it was a delightful and comfortable stay for a long weekend getaway.

The biggest knock on the property is there really is only 1 true bedroom so privacy is scarce, though it worked out fine for us. The kitchen is quite large and was easy to have multiple people in prepping food.
The other part that could have gone smoother and seemed unnecessarily difficult was the back and forth from the rental company about a copy of my credit card. I used a virtual card to pay for the stay which caused quite a bit of confusion.
The check-in process was very easy though and we had keys and directions in about 2 minutes.
Overall, loved the property and the vacation and highly recommended.

Came up with my son and friends to celebrate my birthday weekend. Great location and easy to find property. The property was more dated than the listing suggested. Very dark interior and not much lighting. Took about 30 minutes to figure out how to turn on all the lights. Upstairs is pretty wide open and no real bedrooms. More like a large loft with some walls separating sleeping spaces. 2nd floor is very creaky and loud noises upstairs and downstairs when people moving about. Jacuzzi water seemed dirty and wasn’t overall very clean.

We experienced a wonderful time at Lily Rock with family and friends during the holiday season. The home felt like a ski lodge. Spacious, cozy, and full of character. Plenty of room for everyone to hangout together or to enjoy their personal time alone next to the fireplace with a book. The large kitchen area was great for entertaining. Both the pool table and jacuzzi were life-savers for the days we stayed at the house and had to keep people entertained. The surrounding area of the home was amazing. Snowball fights and sledding in the fresh snow that dropped from the first night; the beautiful hiking trails that led up to the most amazing picturesque views of the mountain scenery. And the quick drive into town to check out the local shops and personalities was definitely a highlight of the trip.
The only complaint we had was the lack of parking spaces. When the first group arrived at the house the parking spot was taken by the cleaning staff that arrived there late due to staffing issues. This part we get. But, the first group that arrived couldn't unload their vehicle because the other two spots were not cleared from snow. So they had to park their car in town until the cleaners were finished to unload their vehicle. At which time the second group arrived and took the only available spot. So only one of the three vehicles had a spot to park which made it an inconvenience when shuttling people, including kids, to and from places. If there was a snow plow service available I would encourage that you make it available to guest especially during the snow season. Or have at least two spots available at a property that sleeps more than 10 people. Other than that... We had a great time and hope to make an annual event out of it. Thank you!

When I walked in the home had a dirty dusty scent to it. That night we went to get in the hot tub and the water jet when you turned it on was shooting outside of the jacuzzi. When the water was still it looked murky so we ended up not using it. That night my guests got into the bed and the sheets smelled so bad and had white stains all over them. Pictures were taken. We decided to check out the next day after lunch. I stayed here before and was very excited, but left very disappointed and felt like I wasted my money.

great cabin
We had a great short stay at this cute little cabin in Idyllwild. It had everything we needed, plenty of sleeping space, comfortable beds and great location close to town and hiking.

Came up here with a group of fun friends for a work retreat. We had a blast (and were very productive). There was plenty of room to spread out with our laptops and hammer out the work. The big living area had plenty of seating for all of us to cuddle in with blankets and chat it up after dinner.
There are a lot of beds and everyone was comfortable, even though the upstairs isn’t technically private. If you want total privacy, only the downstairs bedrooms will suffice.
The open kitchen was lovely but unfortunately the oven didn’t work which was sad to learn after already putting food in. The house was not “spotless” but it was very clean. I say that just because I know some people expect spotless like a 4-star hotel. The location is a little far to walk to town but it’s so nice and quiet. Overall, we had the best time. We are definitely coming back next year!!

Spa did not heat upon arrival, but was fixed. Oven would not heat past 300 degrees. Was not fixed. BBQ was very dirty and flared up from built up grease. Pool table provided great family entertainment. Location and parking was good. Accommodated family of 9 with dogs well.
