Great house overall, some repairs needed. Very well equipped. Great location, although more mosquitoes in house upon arrival due to proximity to river and cleaning crew leaving front door open. Deck area was not cleaned as we found food packaging, garbage, etc.

We loved our stay! The only downfall were the mosquitoes. So many! Couldn’t go outside without getting bit all over. Had to use tons of bug spray. Other than that, we loved it all!

This is our third trip to Sun river with my wife, in-laws and twin daughters and this time included our girls' boyfriends. It t was our first time going through Sunset Lodging and couldn't be happier. This trip was special as we were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, our daughters 21st birthday and my in-laws 53rd anniversary and this was my favorite trip to Sun river yet...we will be back again and next time maybe we will have another generation to carry on the tradition!

We had a great time celebrating our daughter's 8th birthday with best friends! From karaoke in front of the fireplace to bike rides along the river to movie night in the kids room, parents and kids had a wonderful stay. Location was perfect with access to paved and cross country trails + an easy bike ride to Fort Rock Park. House was large and welcoming, especially the big open kitchen, which was perfect for meal prepping and socializing. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our second stay and the house was just as nice!! Had everything we needed and great space. We came from all over to meet for a fun family adventure. One of our favorites is to get all 7 of us out one the bikes exploring the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this roomy, pleasant lodge-like home near the Deschutes River. The location was very quiet and peaceful. And it was great to have four bedrooms, each with its own bath. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to cook our meals, and it was nice to have a big gas grill as well. We enjoyed riding several of the many bikes provided, and also made use of the games and books.

Five retreat participants stayed in the house. We also had a small get together for all participants with plenty of seating. The layout of the house was good for all. One person even said she might rent it for a family trip.

Location was great. House was clean. Property manager was a breath of fresh air. We showed up, and none of the patio furniture was out. I called the property manager and they where there within 10minutes and had everything set up. The reason it wasn’t out was the time of year May 10th first sunny weekend of the year. We will be back. We came with three other couples to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. This house accommodated all of us very comfortably, with enough beds for all four adult couples. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, we enjoyed hot tubbing in the snow, and there was great access to waking/nature trails. Beautiful, quiet location, about ten minutes drive from the market.

We stayed at this property with one other family and our dog. In total, there were 4 adults, 8 children, and our pup. There was plenty of space and accommodations for everyone, and everyone had a blast. They had everything that we needed there, and the property management were very quick to respond with our questions (there always are questions, aren't there?). I highly recommend this property to anyone with a large number of people in their party.

We had a couple minor maintenance issues that property manager was very prompt in addressing and easy to work with.
Nice deck on back of house to watch wildlife, perfect size for our party of 6.
There are 9 bicycles in garage and plenty of riding paths to enjoy them.
Kitchen is mostly stocked but did not have all panty staples like foil etc..
Beds are comfortable and house is very clean.

We were disappointed to not use our week at Goldfinch due to terrible smoke in Sunriver. Since we never went into the house we had hoped to have at least our cleaning fee refunded. And as a repeat renter we asked for some credit for a future stay but we’re denied.

We have stayed in many Sunriver homes over the years and this might be our favorite. The floorplan allowed everyone to have their own space and the location was ideal for biking the airport loop. The house was very clean and the kitchen was especially well stocked.

The overall experience was amazing at this house! I would certainly rent it again. However, upon arrival and entering the home, it smelt of pet for sure. thankfully, I brought some candles and was able to like them, and you got acclimated to the smell. There were also some amenities that were not included in the description, like a barbecue. I would’ve totally purchased some things to barbecue if I knew that it was there. Also, you cannot tell from the photos but the kitchen in the living room are an open concept and great for entertaining! I would highly recommend that the property management company post pictures to better explain the layout of the home.

We loved staying here for a snowy get away. The house clean, beds were comfy, and the management was very responsive when we thought we had hot water issues (there was no issue). We went to the SHARC 2 days in a row and our daughter loved it.
