We have stayed at this place many times in the past and just love the homey feel and how well equipped it is! Every time we stay here, it feels like coming home!

This was our second stay at this lovely cottage that has everything we needed and more. If we return to Ashland we'll definitely try to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to plays, restaurants, Lithia Park and the weekend art fair was fantastic. Having Shakespeare resources in the cottage was great.

Cental Avenue Cottage was perfect for us, 2 adult couples. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Ashland. Easy walk to Lithia Park, shops, groceries (Ashland co-op) and especially the Shakespeare Festival theaters. Our host was quick to reply and very accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and kitchen equipped to make all our meals. Also, an inviting outdoor porch and patio space to enjoy. Thank you and we would love to stay at this place in the future.

Beautiful location, wonderful house, great location to hang out. The house and location are even better than the pictures. Very comfortable, and makes you want to stay and enjoy the grounds and the house, even though Main Street Ashland is just a few short steps away. Everything was walkable for all of us, and we did it daily. Coming back at night and having a place to sit and enjoy and a comfortable made getting together that much better.

A true home away from home. Well stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and comfortable. The convenience to everything within walking distance is delightful.

This is our 2nd time staying at this home and again we had a wonderful time with no issues. Very close to the theaters, nice outdoor patio seating, kitchen with everything we needed, very clean, perfect for 2 couples with the 2 bathrooms. We will stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Central Avenue Cottage. Great location for walking to the theatres and restaurants, yet quiet and it is not uncommon to share the sidewalk with deer. The home is always clean, well-supplied, has good WiFi. We stay here often!

This cottage is lovely in every way and in a perfect location. We loved relaxing on the front porch and using the barbecue in the garden area. The living room area is also welcoming, and the kitchen is well-appointed. We all enjoyed good nights of sleep in the comfy beds. The location makes it easy to walk over to the many restaurants near the festival and to Lithia Park. We're looking forward to returning to this wonderful cottage.

Cute well maintained house, the smoke in the air cancelled our theatre so we left early but we enjoyed the nicely appointed house and pleasant front yard

Thai was a return trip the the property. A clean, comfortable, well appointed house in a great part of Ashland. A quiet and beautiful garden made sitting outside a pleasure. We will be back.

This was our third time staying at this charming comfortable house. The “homey” feel is just perfect for me and my friend! We enjoy cooking our own meals in the fully stocked kitchen with lovely dishes and plenty of cookware and bakeware. The lush garden greenery feels so cozy and private and is visible through many windows. The close vicinity to town and theaters make this home so convenient on many levels!

Beautiful inside and out, spotless, and in a perfect location for the theaters, this cottage may be the best we've ever stayed in anywhere.

Very attractive Bungalow with a beautiful private garden and a comfy sitting porch. Just a few easy blocks to downtown Ashland, the Play venues, restaurants a the gorgeous Lithia Watershed park. Very clean and well appointed. Friendly and helpful host. We will definitely stay again.

This cottage is so charming - I've been to Ashland many times, and it was by far my favorite of all the places I've stayed. It is surprisingly spacious, with two very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and even a small office nook, which was perfect for my husband. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to cook in. There is a lovely, very private front garden with a table and chairs - it's beautifully landscaped and perfectly maintained. The location is superb - only a couple of blocks to the main street and Lithia Park and a few short blocks to the beloved Coop. Lois was kind enough to leave us some hiking books (I had told her in advance that we would be hiking) and an arrangement of local flowers on the kitchen table. We hated to leave and look forward to coming back soon!

Just had a great 3 month stay! Loved the neighborhood and the easy access to the plaza, hiking trails and all the great stuff Ashland has to offer. Lois was a great host. Very communicative and helpful.

The CAC was perfect for our stay. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. And so close to downtown Ashland theaters and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and had a great front yard for reading and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Ashland.

The location is quiet and close to OSF. Beautiful small garden with good seating. Nice layout for couple privacy. Only negative a slight musty smell on entry but soon gone and did not return when closed up.

What a great stay. Lois was a super hostess — she even brought us her own toaster when we couldn’t find one in the kitchen. The quiet neighborhood and comfy front porch were a big plus. And the air conditioning, of course!

The owner is fabulous- very accommodating. My mother is disabled so it was important to have a single story home with a walk in shower. The cottage is very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly!
