Stocked with everything we might have needed during our stay(soaps, cooking utensils, beach towels, etc) The beach access from the house could be a little challenging at times due to erosion from waves, but you can walk 2 houses down and use the public access. Beach was beautiful, lots of sea turtles.Easy drive to food trucks/ restaurants.Hawaii Beach homes was easy to work with, great directions and customer service. The Hospitality App that they use was very informative and had lots of recommendations for the area(activities, restaurants, bike rentals plus much more)

We had the most magical time at this Hawaii beach home. The space was clean, beautiful decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had plenty of space in the home and private beach access. Not sure it gets much better than that! There’s an outdoor shower with warm water to clean off every time your back from the beach. The kids loved playing ping-pong and foosball out in the Playhouse. It was really convenient to have two washers and two dryers as well as two refrigerators and freezers. The host was always very kind and prompt to respond. I definitely give this stay a five out of five and would happily go back again. Thanks for everything!

I rented the Hawaiian beach house for my family as my birthday celebration. We all looked forward to our trip and hoped that the online pictures truly reflected what we had rented. We were not disappointed;the house was stunning! We totally took advantage of being steps from the beach and having a hot tub readily available. I won't restate everything mentioned in the rental description, but it is all there - the sea turtles, the sunset views, the beautiful beach, the house amenities. We also took advantage of all the places/activities close to us (waterfall, luau, food trucks/restaurants, hiking trails, etc.) as well as driving towards the Honolulu area to view other sites. The 30 mile trek to Costco, Sam's Club, or Walmart is worth it to stock up for your stay. The house was clean and well-equipped. You can even enjoy the game room while doing laundry in the TWO washers and dryers! The decor and attention to detail added to our enjoyment. Our visit will be a lifetime memory for my entire family. Given the opportunity, we would not hesitate to stay here again!!

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Ages from 73 to 14. So many different places in the house, garage, deck and beach to enjoy. It had something for everyone. Our first time to Hawaii so we enjoyed the beach and sea turtles a lot. My grandchildren did not want to leave ( ages 20 to 14). We would definitely recommend this house and would love to come back sometime.

This was our second time here at this lovely property two years in a row. Very clean and everything as promised was there. They had put a new deck in and happy to see they put steps in from the sliding glass doors. We brought our own portable ramp to get the wheelchair in and out of the house easily from the back deck Sand came right up to the back stairs so it was easy to get to the beach . Turtles up and down the beach from the property. You can sit on the back deck and enjoy the ocean views and whoever is on the beach cannot see up on the deck, which is great. Game room was awesome. They have a ping-pong table and a large TV to watch movies. We had a family of nine adults and We all fit. Can’t wait for our next visit

We traveled with 10 people from Oregon for a family vacation. We had members of our family ranging from 3 to 60, and every single thing we needed for every person was there in this amazing house. From the second you walk in, you can tell that they think about what a guest will need. The space this house has is amazing for a large party. The outbuilding that holds a foosball table, ping-pong table, large couch and tv, not to mention two washers and dryers gives an extra space for people to be. Each bedroom is equipped with what it needs, there are plenty of bathrooms, and the master bedroom outside shower is to die for. The deck is enormous, with a lawn that wraps around the house, and it’s only 4 short steps down to the beach which make this an absolutely amazing place to stay. We will stay here again and we will recommend it to anyone who asks!!!

Our family of 10 had a great stay. The waves during our stay were quite big and unsafe to swim in - December. However, the kids liked standing on the shore and having the waves crash on them. Lots of surfers, turtles everyday. The house is right on the HWY and the traffic gets quite bad everyday. The 6 minute drive to town can take over 30 minutes. Sharks cove is up the street and perfect for snorkelling. Close to amenities and unbeatable view.

We had great stay! The house is spacious and has amazing views, very nice deck with geckos running around. Comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor shower in the bedroom!
There is a little climb down the stairs to the beach but it wasn't too bad. The beach was worth it! Turtles coming to visit was a great bonus. The road is a bit busy in the afternoons and a lot of cars parked on sides but the home is quiet. The property management is very responsive. Overall great place to stay!

Nicely decorated house, nice rec room / laundry room, ample rooms and space for (our) 6 adults and 2 children, very private. Slight walk to the beach (2 houses down). Close to Haleiwa town. On-site parking available for 2-3 cars. Traffic can be an issue getting to, and into, property. House was neat but could (should) be cleaned better (have pics); found sand in both bunk beds and in bed in another room (beds were made), gummy candy and food crumbs under the coffee table and in sectional (easily visible), dirty coffee cups in cupboard, visible dust (bunnies) on lampshades. Sent detailed message to property manager. Cleaner(s) supposedly sent out, but looked about the same - did not sweep, did not change bunk bed linen. Addressed broken dishwasher sprayer right away. Would probably stay there again because of the pros of the property. All-in-all, for as much as it costs to stay there, should be better maintained.

The house was very clean, updated and had all the amenities we needed. The backyard and deck area are beautiful! I love all the windows and sliding doors that give access to the ocean view. We woke up everyday to sea turtles, which was soooo Amazing! The only things we didn’t like about the property is that it is directly on the highway, which has a 35 MPH speed limit so it wasn’t too bad. The other thing is that the beach is directly off the back of the house; however, the steps going down to the beach didn’t reach all the way and it was on a slope. We wound up tying a rope to the stairs to help pull ourselves back up to reach the bottom of the stairs. Overall, this is an amazing property that accommodated our entire family beautifully. We would definitely go back!

Our extended family had a wonderful time at the Laniakea Beachfront Home. The house had plenty of room for all of us (7 adults and one baby.) The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds were comfy and the view was spectacular.We spent most of our time on the spacious deck. Please be aware that due to beach erosion there is no beach directly in front of this home. A very steep drop-off down to water level. We were a bit surprised by that because the photos show a wide beach. The floors of the home was very sandy upon our arrival, but a quick sweep took care of that.

This was our second trip to this property; the first trip last year was such fun that we came back to improve our vacationing skills.
The property is clean, well maintained, and it's provisioned with all the things a house needs. There is space inside and out for 10 people to hang together or to hang apart. There is plenty of sleeping space, resting space, activity space. The pantry storage and two refrigerators give space for food. It's possible to stay for days without leaving the property.
We brought a gaming system along. The kids and adults enjoyed playing on the big-screen TV. When we called time-out on the games, the kids were happy to run down to the beach to swim or watch turtles.
Some of our people have physical troubles with the sand and waves, so they relaxed on the deck or in the spa or on the hammock.
The second building on the property is a fun house: it has ping pong, foosball and a TV (as well as two washers and two dryers).

I always try to give an honest review that I would appreciate reading to help with my stay so here it goes. Amazing location! Haleiwa is about 5 minutes!! Quick and friendly response on issues! Hot tub is great!! Clean and very comfortable beds with great sheets! Kitchen is well stocked (except trash bags, you only get what is in the cans upon arrival, you would think fort he cost of a week they might provide a few more?). 2 fridges so that's great. Now the part no owner likes but I feel responsible to share. Zero functional beach chairs at this beach home. 3 but all were rusted out and destroyed. Asked if there were more and they were going to check with the cleaners but never heard back. Went and bought my own on day 3 because you will want them there. The family we gave them to the last day on the beach were super appreciative. The view is my biggest issue. The hedge makes it where you can NOT see sand and most of the time the waves crashing. A few high top chairs would be awesome for the sunset. I like seeing the sand and waves..You can see the water but even that is obstructed by 3 young palm trees growing right off the main part of the porch. Will be okay if they get tall. We loved the place and don't regret staying but couldn't give it 5 stars based on our thoughts.

We spent 8 days at this beautiful property in April. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and organized. Everything was labelled and directions were clear. There were only 6 of us staying in the house but there was easily room for three families. The kitchen was well-stocked and we appreciated having spices, oil, vinegar, etc to use. The location on the beach couldn't be beat! We sat on the deck every day and watched the surfers. We saw many turtles and humpback whales as well. I think the best spot for swimming on the entire beach was directly in front of our place. Some days the surf was too strong for swimming but when it was calmer, it was a nice sandy entry. To the right and left of the house, it was much rockier. Considering its beachfront location, the property was very private. While sitting on the deck, you could see the ocean but not the beach. My teenage boys loved the pingpong table and hot tub. Traffic in the area was bad at certain times of day so it was nice to be situated in such an ideal location, a couple of miles from both Haleiwa and Pupukea. Hawaii Beach Homes left excellent directions to the property and were quick to send someone over to replace the hammock when we reported that it was cracked. If you want a relaxing vacation in a beautiful home, this would be an excellent choice. We hope to return in the future.

We have been renting in Hawaii for many years and this was one of the best places we have stayed. Everything worked fine and is new. We had three generations on our trip- grandparents to grand kids and they were all really happy! There was lots to do out front so we rarely left the house. Plus Haleiwa is just down the road.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family stay. We had everything we needed, and with a trip to Costco, we barely had to leave - and with small children, that was exactly our intention. The house was very thoughtfully and tastefully renovated and well stocked to feel at home. The beach was beautiful and a fun spot to watch whales, turtles and surfers. My husband and I and two other couples have been coming to Oahu in the winter for over 30 years, and have rented on the north shore the last 8 years. I don’t think we have ever stayed at a house where we felt like we were in somebody’s actual home…not just a rental. This house is amazing…the kitchen is full of dishes, utensils, and everything you would ever need in abundance. It is clean and updated…feels like new from the bedrooms to the furniture to the big, nice deck in the yard with tons of great patio furniture. There was more than enough room for the six of us and could easily fit our family if we came with them…especially with the detached room with the ping pong table and comfy kids hangout area. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the surfers…a great beach where you could watch them but also get in the water and swim. Big enough but close enough to really hear the waves from the deck and inside the house. We used the hot tub a lot and loved having it. We like the location…it can get really crowded closer to Sunset and Waimea so being down a little ways from that was nice. Perfect spot to drive that direction for food trucks or go into Haleiwa to eat. The only thing I would wish for would be a bike trail to walk or ride bikes like there is farther north. This property is right off of the main road so it’s hard to go out for a walk/run. But the advantages far outweigh that small issue and we would definitely rent this house again…IT’S FABULOUS!

Everything was AMAZING! House has everything you need. A trip to the nearby Foodland and you will never need to leave! The two refrigerators were a big plus. We didn't use the garage rec room very much but it was very cool. Having access to the beach right out the back yard was incredible. Beautiful rainbows every day! Being close to the town of Haleiwa was very fun to go explore all the little shops and so many delicious food places. If you are looking for the perfect vacation don't look any further. It was AMAZING!

What a great place to stay, so many beds, extra features
This is an excellent property. It has even more features than in the listing: a detached game room with couch, TV, ping-pong and foosball, parking for three vehicles, one of the bathrooms is attached to an outside shower (avoids wet or sandy feet tracking through the house). It has a rice cooker (we made spam musubi) an electric griddle (for grilled cheese), two refrigerators and ice maker.

We made some wonderful memories on this vacation. The kitchen was spacious. We loved the day bed off the kitchen and the sectional was comfortable enough to sleep on. The view out back was beautiful. We looked at the starts at night and watched the ocean during the day.

Our stay at Laniakea was amazing! Beautiful immaculate home, every amenity, comfortable, great location! We fit 3 large vehicles in the secure driveway, 10 slept comfortably, cooked meals and baked with all equipment available. Great gameroom for the kids with pingpog and other games. Loved that eveything was labeled. Great location, spent most time on the north shore. Never missed the crowds of Wakiki. Grocery in Haleiwa better than Foodland. Best part - relaxing time with family. My daughter loved swimming with turtles daily. My son and d-i-l watched a turtle lay eggs one evening! We would love to go back and definately rent this house!

This location on north shore, Oahu, is the best! Not to many people, most people stay in the turtle bay 200-300 meters away. Perfect beach, stunning view! The house is nice, but you pay most for the beachfront view. One negative thing is no aircondition - only fan! The nearby village, Haleiwa, is really nice with good restaurants and beach shops. Beware of the massive traffic along the route 83! Drive out early or late!

Fabulous location - fabulous for the whole family. Spacious indoor and out. Some minor maintenance would make this a perfect holiday experience.Kitchen tap broken, ice maker in fridge didn't work, and a few other minor details that were just a little frustrating - but overall a wonderful property.

The description to this house doesn’t include there’s no A/C, so just making that known here. There were lots of bugs (lizards, cockroaches, mosquitos) but that’s Hawaii. The location is right on the water with gorgeous views, 5 min from Haleiwa. We wouldn’t stay there again but the management company hosting was great. They dropped off additional towels, etc and were very nice.

The Perfect Holiday
My wife and I took our two adult children and their families to Hawaii. We needed a house that could accommodate 6 adults and three children. I found this house on VRBO and it seemed like a good fit. We were blown away when we arrived, this home by far exceeded all of our expectations in every way. We will definitely be back. From the amenities to the location and layout of the home, it could not have been better. Do not hesitate you will have the time of your life.

Slice of Heaven
Our stay was better than we had anticipated which is always a good thing. The house was better than the photos, beach was amazing, location was prime (although tricky to navigate pulling in/out on a busy street), beds were comfy, hot tub and game room an added bonus….the whole experience was worth the money (we split with another family and our party of 10 was plenty comfortable). It was dreamy! The beach does have an undertow and risk of riptides so isn’t as suitable to small kids but it was fun to watch the surfers day and night and fun to play in the waves with boogie boards. The sea turtles were a big highlight! On a calmer day we were swimming right along side them. Slice of heaven for sure. Mahalo for the wonderful home away from home for our vacation!
