Overall a good base for skiing and exploring Salt Lake. But we had issues with 2 of the beds. One of the promised twin beds was just a trundle with a thin piece of foam over metal bars - super uncomfortable. Additionally, one of the twin beds in the basement was falling apart - the slats under the mattress would move and collapse, sending the mattress to the floor. That left us with 5 of the 7 beds we were planning on using….not ideal.
Otherwise a well stocked place! Loved the hot tub!

Stayed here with a bunch of friends for a ski trip. Great location with close access to snowbird, Alta, Brighton and solitude. The home had all the basics, and the hot tub was a definite plus. A couple negatives: wasn’t completely clean, a couple of the bed sizes weren’t what they said, room configuration wasn’t as advertised either, and the worst was the hard-wired smoke detectors beeped all through the night and kept people up one night (they did fix I while we were skiing so the response was quick). Place didn’t blow me away but it is perfectly adequate for a ski vacation.

Great location and lots of room. The fireplace and hot tub were nice to come home to after a long day of skiing. The water facets could use updating. Several were difficult to turn on and it was hard to regulate the temperature.

The bathrooms were super nasty! The showers especially the upper master bathroom showers is covered in mold. The toilet seats were frightening. The communication with the company was great though and in appreciated that.

My friends and I had an awesome stay at this home. Located just a 5 minute walk from shuttle access to some of Utahs best ski resorts, it was the perfect location for our ski trip. We had awesome days skiing Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude. Home was cozy, clean, and jumping in the hot tub was the perfect end to a day on the slopes. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay again for my next Utah ski vacation.

My friends and I had an awesome stay at this home. Located just a 5 minute walk from shuttle access to some of Utahs best ski resorts, it was the perfect location for our ski trip. We had awesome days skiing Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude. Home was cozy, clean, and jumping in the hot tub was the perfect end to a day on the slopes. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay again for my next Utah ski vacation.

Great rental for a group. Easy access to ski resorts.
We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location made it easy to access the skiing at Snowbird/Alta every day while not having to pay for the expensive lodging at the mountain. We also really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub!

The house was great! The maintenance man, Kitt, was AMAZING! He was super helpful! We had a few minor issues with lights, light bulbs and the tv but he came to the rescue and fixed it all... Vacasa staff in reservations don't respond in a timely manner, we had questions during our stay and we never got a response from them.
The house had absolutely everything we needed! We will consider this house again!

Vacasa staff in reservations don't respond in a timely manner, we had questions during our stay and we never got a response from them.

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. We had 10 people -- 5 adults and 5 children -- and there was plenty of room, including allowing my teenage nephew and a couple of adults to have their own beds (the living room now has a fold out futon).
The kitchen needs a little updating but is perfectly functional (we cooked every night). Lots of dining room with two tables, which made mealtimes much easier.
The location is perfect, situated between both canyons with easy access to Solitude, Snowbird, Alta, and Brighton (where kids under 10 ski free!). The hot tub was great to come back to after a long day of skiing. Major grocery stores, Target, and other dining options are all within easy driving distance.
The only real issue we had is that my mom is older and found that none of the bathrooms had any kind of bar or rod to hold on to coming out of the shower, which she found a little precarious (especially since none of the bathrooms have bath mats). She asked me to mention that in my review in case it was relevant for other renters.
Otherwise, we loved it!

Summer Wedding Home
We shared this home with some relatives while visiting the Salt Lake area for a wedding. We had 12 in our group and there was lots of room for everyone. Everything was as it appeared in the photos. It was wonderful to have a nice air conditioned space to rest from the heat.

Nice Stay
My wife and I accompanied a group of high school juniors and seniors attending a national tournament in Salt Lake City in June. We were quite satisfied with the stay. The kids were able to spread out and we had a room to ourselves when needed. There is a grocery story (Smith's) about a mile away. I would suggest that an light outside the front door be installed and I think the vegetation could be better trimmed, but overall, our stay was comfortable.

In 15 years of short-term condo and home rentals in Cottonwood Heights we have never seen a house so poorly equipped. The cupboards and fridge were absolutely bare in terms of condiments and basics. There wasn't even salt and pepper in the house. The grill was broken; the gas tank appeared to be empty. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. We called the agency, "Vacasa", on Friday afternoon seeking help, and never heard back from them---though they had no trouble sending us numerous emails offering late check-out for an extra $40. In our opinion, this rental is emblematic of the difference between an actual "rental by owner", as opposed to a more commercial transaction.
