Renters please be aware this place is not as shown nor described. It is dirty and is infested with roaches(they were a stowaway in our luggage after we left).The toilet is extremely loose, tub will not drain( you will stand in dirty bath water while showering) and the bathroom door will hardly open. There is a review after our booking that informs her of these exact issues yet she chose not to fix them and told us she knew nothing about it. There is a cooking pot under the sink collecting water (for “safety reasons” of course). The outdoor furniture is rotten and broken. There is no photo of the washroom in the listing because it is moldy and in awful condition. The smell of mold and mildew is overwhelming. The owner is in California so she claims not to know the state of the property. It took her a full day to respond to me regarding the condition of the home and wanting to leave. She said she would refund the money. However, we only received a small portion of it back. She is a dishonest person. We sent photos to VRBO in hopes that another family is not going to have to deal with this on their vacation. We spent more than budgeted for on this trip(last minute booking for a new place and having to throw away groceries that had been bought) due to her dishonesty. We would have never booked this property had we known it’s current condition.

We just love this place. It’s close to the beach, to fresh seafood (we love to cook), to great restaurants. We hope to be here again next summer 😎❤️

This is our third time to stay n this sweet little place. We love the neighborhood & the beach that is close by. We love going to the local dock & access to great fresh seafood. Definitely recommend 😊😎

We had three adults and three kids and we fit just fine. Loved the balcony at night. Just a couple short blocks to the beach and loads of free parking less than one minute from the driveway. House was cute and decorated in a beachy theme which you would expect.
Shower has awesome pressure and having the second toilet was perfect.
No beach activities just a few minutes up the coast which the kids loved.
Definitely will be renting this place again

Loved the little bungalow. Didn’t think a train in the back yard was going to be a big deal, but ohhh! It shook the bed and house at 3am! We didn’t get a good nights sleep for 2 months! Not something you want to put up with when you’re on a snowbird vacation! Won’t be renting this again!

Property was exactly how it was described. It was a little dusty, you could tell no one had been there in a while. And there was laundry left in the washer. Other than that we had a nice stay.

Just perfect!
We had a wonderful time. Barely noticed the trains. The house was clean despite sooo much sand everywhere. Can't avoid it, it's the beach! Convenient location! It was just perfect for our family. Thank you so much!

Great vacation!
Everything was just as described by the owners. We were not bothered by the trains coming through. The living room furniture and beds could stand to be upgraded, but for such a short period of time and the price we paid we were satisfied. Also, the washing machine is older but worked just fine for me. I had read a few reviews that said toilet was wobbly, but it was fixed. The best part is that the air conditioners worked great! Overall a very good visit for us!

It was ok
The amount of trains was much more than expected and hated train tracks in back yard. Living room furniture uncomfortable and patio doors need to be replaced as you can't use them and gaps filled with paper.

Rocking cammode,bugs,washer wore out, furniture horrible,had to take couch pillows to pad mattress to sleep,yard was unkept.needs tlc asap didn't expect mansion,but didn't expect what we got.

The house didn't feel ready for us.
When we arrived the house was not stocked for our week stay. There was only one roll or toilet paper, the paper towel roll was almost gone and hardly any dish soap left and laundry drying in the dryer. There was no grill. That night when we tried to lock the door we couldn't get either of the locks to work. My husband tried for a half hour to figure out why the door wouldn't shut tight enough to lock. The next day we talked to the owners who are out of state. They had the cleaning person bring over the toilet paper, a grill and the other supplies that were low. That was great. We couldn't get the door to lock until the last day. That gave us some anxiety at night and when we weren't at the house.The house was adequate for 6 people but small. There is only about 1' between the foot of the bed and the wall.

It was great location to the beach and the Walmart. The shower in bathroom had no water pressure but overall a great time and place was clean and fresh.

Bungalow by the Beach
Check in was very easy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The window unit air conditioners work very well and will freeze you out. The house is literally 2 blocks from the beach. If you look through the trees you can see the ocean. It’s in a good neighborhood with good restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was Shaggy’s in Pass Harbor. Overall we had an amazing time. I would definitely stay again. The only negative thing I have to say is the shower hardly has any pressure. It barely has enough water pressure to wash your hair and rinse soap off.

Once again, we loved our stay. Love the little house, love the quiet neighborhood, love that the beach is close and un-crowded. Love all the close-by cool places to eat.

Quiet Bungalow
This was such a nice and quiet place to stay. The house was clean and neat. It was in a quiet neighborhood about a block from the beach. The balcony was great to sit out on at night. We even found a little restaurant right around the corner. We enjoyed our stay.

A sweet place to stay
It’s not fancy, but it’s cute & was perfect for us. It’s a quiet (except for the trains 😊) residential area. Love the balcony. Love that this location is within minutes of everything we needed or wanted. We’re definitely coming back!

Wonderful vacation stay for our family of six!
We loved everything about this little cabin! It fit our family of six perfectly and had everything we needed. The laundry area down stairs was a perfect amenity. The neighborhood was quiet besides the train (which we thought was fun!) our son would run out each time to see what it was carrying. The owners answered our questions very promptly. We loved our stay and the memories we were able to make! We had a long drive but the kids thought it was worth it!

Great Weekend Getaway!!
We were very pleased with our stay here. The house was as described & was clean & comfortable. The location is especially perfect if you have a boat & are down to fish. The harbor, boat launch & bait are just a few minutes away. There is also a variety of restaurants that are close by as well so no need to go far for anything. The outside porch/deck was nice to relax on in the evenings & I can definately say the window units in the house worked excellently keep it nice & cool inside. Thanks again. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & will be back in the future.
