Good location, great view. A/C in master bedroom not working, maintenance man quick to respond. Very spacious condo, enjoyed our stay.

This condo was perfect for our family of four during our first visit to the Big Island! It is well stocked and equipped with everything needed in the kitchen as well as beach towels, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The ocean pool, one of three on the property is steps away. We particularly enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the waves crash against the shore, and daily sunsets on the lanai were breathtaking.

This was our 2nd trip to The Big Island and both times we stayed in 2601! The sunsets were amazing and access to the Ocean Side pool was convenient. This condo was fully equipped and the added bonus of AC was appreciated. We will return to the Big Island and stay in this condo again! The owner is very responsive to emails and if there are local needs Joe takes care of it right away. Mahalo for everything! Blessings, Carrie

We stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a great stay! There were 2 adults and 1 child in our party and we had plenty of space. The condo was very clean upon arrival and we did opt to rent the AC units which definitely kept the unit cool when we needed it! We didn't use the kitchen a ton but it is a very well furnished kitchen. My favorite two things about this unit: the lanai and the proximity to the pool. The lanai was pretty big and looked out onto the pool and ocean. There was a table and chairs so eating al fresco was easy. We were also pleasantly surprised to find some beach chairs in the outdoor closet on the lanai. The unit is close to a grocery store and a couple of eating options. Downtown Kailua Kona is a 15 minute drive away where there are lot of restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it! Mahalo!

Well equipped, beautiful view, good pans had everything you need. Great location. Great response to your needs. Security man very nice. Very easy to say. Million dollar View. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Would stay again.

Seventh year running to Hawaii for a winter get away. First time at 2601 Kanaloa. Can’t wait to get back. The accommodations and everyone associated with the condo do everything to make your stay a pleasant unforgettable experience. Excellent location, fully equipped with beach paraphernalia, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and more. 5 stars!

This condo was awesome. Loved being able to hear and see the ocean from the patio. Being right by the pool was the best part according to our 9 year old. We could take a quick swim at the end of our day. We watched the sun set every night from right off the pool deck. The condo had everything we needed for the week. There was a few condiments in the fridge, so check that before you go to the store. The shopping center right up the road was perfect for groceries, take out and anything we needed. We will definitely keep this one in mind for our next trip.

Great location. WE faced the ocean pool and the breaking waves. With a beautiful sunset very night!!. Had plenty of cooking utinsils, pots and pans and spices. Spacious rooms. It is a bit dated, but comfortable and we were only there in the evenings. Met some of the neighbors who come back every year so had a fun time at the pool and barbeque. My husband golfed many times at the Kona Golf Club which is quite nice and less than a mile down the road. And I did some snorkeling with Sea Quest which I could walk to. Next to the Outrigger. You do have to drive to the beaches and many are not great swimming beaches of course because of the lava but doable. Would stay here again

We stay here over Christmas 2021 and New Year's 2022, four adults and one kid. The location is great. It's overlooking the pool and ocean. Inside the condo is clean and had everything we needed. Even had beach chairs and a small cooler. There is also fins and snorkels, but we brought our own. The beds are comfy and there's plenty of room for all of us. Our 8yo slept on the couch and he was very comfortable too. We all really like the condo complex. We play tennis as well. It's walking distance to Keauhou Bay like to swim you can swim there. Snorkeling there is best in the morning. You can also walk to outrigger for breakfast. Also walk to the supermarket. Also close to the golf club which we played around. Great location and amenities. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Joe and Yoshihiro for a wonderful stay.

We've stayed at Kanaloa at Kona Condos 7 times and twice in this condo. We absolutely love the complex and this condo especially. The condo is fully stocked, very clean and in a wonderful location in the complex. The staff are so friendly and helpful and especially appreciate the groundskeepers and housekeeping. If you're not up for the beach there are 3 pools on the property. We love the neighborhood and it's an easy drive down Ali'i to all the shops and great restaurants. We can't wait to return!

Family and friends enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the best pool in the complex and beautiful ocean views really made our stay special. The master bath was very large with whirlpool tub and huge shower. Great water pressure for showers after a day enjoying the pool and hot tub.

Everything is perfect for us. We weren’t looking for a place to stay that is close by the beach. So, this is a perfect stay for us. Beautiful patio and amazing view!! Perfect swim area with amazing view of the ocean! Condo is clean, neat and so close to amenities along with shopping center and convenient store! Secure location with security gate in and out. I couldn’t ask for more!! Thank you.

We took quite a while to search and find the right place for our second stay on the big island and we think we found a beauty. Last time here we stayed in a resort further up north which was nice but here we felt that it was “our place”. Waking up to a great view of the ocean with whales swimming by was awesome, I’m watching some as I write this! We went swimming with the manta rays, played golf at Kona Country club right next door and downtown is a short drive away. Comfy beds, nice and quiet, well stocked kitchen and laundry appliances we wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thank you 😊 Mike and Jenny, Sydney.

Condo 2601 haas a lovely ocean view & wonderful Lanai for enjoying your morning coffee as you watch whales spout during the winter months. The condo was very clean, with an adequately stocked kitchen as well as beach towels, chairs & umbrellas. It has a full sized washer & dryer. It is in a gated well maintained complex. It is close to a grocery store & a nice farmers market and with easy access to all the big island offers.

This was a great condo - exactly as pictured with a great view and very close to the ocean - we watched whales from the Lanai and only had to step outside to see great sunsets. The pool and BBQ are very close also and there are many things to do nearby. The condo is very well furnished and decorated and the bed in the master bedroom is so comfy and the bathrooms are just amazing! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there's tons of pool toys/beach chairs/a cooler, even snorkeling equipment all in the closet. All in all I would highly recommend staying here - super easy and really a very high end experience, I would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful condo - very nicely decorated and with a fabulous Lanai that looks right out onto the ocean (across the pool). We watched the waves and the whales just sitting and relaxing on the Lanai and walked one building over to take incredible sunset pictures.... The air conditioning in each room is well worth the charge and we were very grateful to have it (and you can turn each room on and off separately to conserve energy), as even when it was nice out in December we found it a bit warm and muggy overnight, so that's the only time we really used it. The kitchen has literally everything you could need to cook with, including things like a rice cooker and various oils and spices, so convenient not to have to buy every little thing and we cooked most nights on the BBQ by the pool. There were no problems with the unit at all while we were there but we had phone numbers so we could easily reach someone if there was an issue. Our adult kid found the twin beds in the guest room overly hard and uncomfortable and had to rig up something to try to soften the sleeping area up a bit (ended up sleeping on the comfy couch in the living room instead), but the bed in the master bedroom was heavenly and both bathrooms were just incredible. I felt like we were in a luxury resort for a much better cost and with a kitchen to boot! Kanaloa is quite nice, though I had forgotten that it is essentially a half hour drive if you want to be "in town" for dinner or anything as it is rather far south... - however it IS super close to one of the harbors and big hotels and some great beaches, so we just did everything out of there... There's a grocery store and great restaurants just up the hill so it is a very convenient location overall and a very nice complex with three pools, tennis courts,etc. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay again next time I am on the Big Island - though I might consider buying a foam mattress pad from Walmart if I had adults staying in the second room.....

Spacious 2 bedroom. Nice lanai. Staff was great. Although close, not really walkable to shops or stores. Nice, quiet, good for families. We enjoyed our stay.

The condo was very nice and clean. It had a lot of kitchen items that we used to cook. It was so nice that were was beach chairs and umbrella that we used at the beach. Also a cooler. The refrigerator had ice maker which was nice. Dishwasher made is nice to enjoy outside as much as possible. The king size bed in the master was nice but the twin beds were hard. We had two adults that were sleeping on them and there was complaints that they were hard and they had hard time sleeping on them. I would recommend this condo because the pool was close and the ocean views were so relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay in unit 2601 at Kanaloa at Kona. Views are spectacular and unit was clean. Needs updated living room furniture and larger TV in all rooms. We had 2 mice, 1 in kitchen sink and 1 dead in guest bedroom. Ceiling fans should be updated also.

I have stayed in the Konaloa condos multiple times before and have always stayed in one of the units in the 2600 complex, except for one time. Obviously I like the location and amenities that the Konaloa provides. I believe the 2600 complex provides the best views in the entire property. You get the beautiful sunsets, ocean and ocean side pool view, which is located very close to these units. The property manager, Tom, was very easy to contact and extremely nice to work with, if an issue arose. We had a couple of issues during our stay in 2601. The first was the DVD player didn't work and Tom had a new one installed the very next day. The dishwasher also didn't work and wasn't replace until the day we were leaving. To be fair, we didn't find out about the dishwasher problem until a week into our 2 week stay and it took 6 days to get a new dishwasher installed. The maintenance dept at the condos were busy and took them several days to install the new appliance after it was delivered. The unit could have been cleaner when we arrived. We were told the housekeeper went on vacation just before our arrival. Tom contacted another housekeeping service and they came in mid-stay and did a great job at that point. Lastly, it seems on any vacation the one thing vacationers are hoping for is a comfortable bed. I would rate the beds in this unit a 5 on a 10 scale. They are VERY firm and don't expect memory foam or pillow top mattresses. All in all, most issues were taken care of quickly and the weather was great.

The condo works out great for our family. It’s the second time we have stayed in this unit. We have young grandsons so it’s nice to be close to the pool. The view from the lani is great morning, evening or even in the rain! All kinds of beach/pool toys, snorkel gear, cooler and beach umbrella. We love the low key atmosphere at Kanaloa at Kona!

Great time. Beds comfortable. Washer and dryer nice to have. I didn't under stand some of the previous comments. Just so people know, houskeeping does not come in everyday. If you want that service, stay at a hotel

Our 5 night stay with our family of five was phenomenal! We found the location to convenientmy located by restaurants, grocery and several beaches. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular, and within a few short steps you could access the lava rock overlook past the ocean pool to view stellar sunsets. The pools and property are well maintained and pool curfews are enforced. We found this to be delightful as the unit overlooks the ocean pool. At 7pm we were assured that once the sun set, we could enjoy and relax to the peaceful sounds of the ocean waves. There was another pool in the central part of the property open until 10pm for the evenings our kids (15, 13 & 10) wanted to swim. We found the unit to be magnificently clean, with the exception on the master shower. It could use some TLC to remove some mildew/mold. Other than that, it was evident that this place is well cared for. The kitchen was well appointed and the perfect size for our family to prepare meals. The bedrooms, closets and bathrooms were spacious. Everyone slept comfortably. We did upgrade our stay to include air conditioning. It along with ceiling fans provided a comfortable temperature for sleeping. Although, we didn’t use them, there were two tall oscillating fans available for extra ventilation. We highly recommend this unit. It definitely has an authentic Hawaiian feel with it’s tropical decor and teak inspired cabinetry that seems to be original to the unit, albeit well cared for. We wouldn absolutely return! Mahalo!
