The house was just right for our family. Everything was great

We had a great vacation. The house is very nice, combining the charm of a historic Cape May home with updated cool. I loved the large kitchen, and the open living room/dining room was so welcoming. The location is excellent: a couple blocks to the beach, shopping, and food. Beth was a wonderful host and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed out stay. My family will definitely return in the future.

We loved the screened porch. Spent endless hours there. The location is great. Three of the bedrooms are small so this property would not be suitable for people who travel with a lot of luggage but otherwise a great find.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos and very clean upon arrival. House was perfect for our family vacation - only blocks from beach, shopping and restaurants. This was our first visit to Cape May and definitely will be a repeater!

While staying at this property we had a great time. Jay and Beth were quickly available to answer questions anytime I emailed them. This house is close to everything and the perfect peaceful beach vacation.

This is a great, roomy, clean, comfortable house. Living space is good for a group and the house is well equipped. There are no closets in the bedrooms but there is a walk in closet in the hallway which was more than enough room for clothes and suitcase storage. The owner is super helpful and responsive. Location is good - close to beach and the Washington street mall. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely rent this house again.

Cape May is our favorite getaway destination and Aunt Helen’s House is our favorite place to stay. Prime location to Congress Hall, Washington Street Mall and only 2.5 blocks from the boardwalk and the beach. You can’t beat the screened-in porch and beautifully updated living area.

"Aunt Helen's House" is truly the PERFECT Cape May home!!! It's cleanliness, adorable decor, spacious rooms, and cute character all add to the charm of this ideal location. Best part is we parked our car and walked to everywhere! Beth was the sweetest host and was not only readily available to answer any questions we had prior to our stay, but also provided us with the greatest little itinerary (with the best suggestions!) for our girls' getaway weekend! Aunt Helen's House is really a home away from home. and one we look forward to visiting again soon!

Aunt Helens House is very clean and comfy. The owners were very nice and responsive. The house is also very spacious!

We had a nice experience at this property in August. The house is quirky - it is 150 years old! So there is really only one closet upstairs (though that's a good size for suitcases) and the bedrooms and bathrooms are small. But it has been renovated very nicely, including a/c (though you need to leave the bedroom doors open at night to take full advantage as the unit is out in the hall and in the bunk bed room). The kitchen was well appointed, and the dining/living area hosted our big meals and kids toys too. And the screened in porch was lovely to hang out on. One of the best aspects was the location - it truly is a place where you can park your car and then have an easy walk to the beach or to the town. Parking is on the street, but we didn't have much trouble parking nearby. Overall a pleasant stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Aunt Helen's House! The owner was a delight to work with and everything worked out perfectly. The home is located in an ideal area, three blocks to the beach and a short walk to the center of town. We got around by bike most of the time so it was very convenient. The house itself is well appointed and clean. The downstairs and kitchen provided plenty of space for our family (two adults and two kids under the age of 5) and my parents. The upstairs, although tight, provided 4 bedrooms, giving everyone their own private space when needed. Most of the rooms had their own TV's too. The only downside was there aren't any closets in the bedrooms and not a lot of space to put your clothes. All things considered this wasn't important to us so did not effect our stay whatsoever. The highlight was the porch, spending evenings with a glass of wine and relaxing after a day at the beach. The fans on the porch are a nice touch! Highly, highly recommend!

Plenty of space for large gatherings downstairs. Perfect distance from the mall, shopping and the beach...parked the car and didn’t get back in it for the whole week. Great updating of the space. Owners were very easy to work with and responsive to inquiries. Would highly recommend a stay here!!

The house itself was great and it was in the perfect location. Short walk to the mall and restaurants. Short walk to beach in the morning. My wife and I parked our car the Saturday we arrived, and didn't move it until we left the following Saturday. The property owners were great to work with and responded quickly to all of our inquiries. We'll definitely be looking to stay at Aunt Helen's house again in the future. Joe

We've been coming to Cape May with family for 40+ years and this is by far one of our most favorite trips! The house is clean and cozy and the front porch is so perfect! The home owner's are helpful and friendly! Aunt Helen's house is perfectly located to so much of the fun shops, restaurants and entertainment! Our family walked and biked all over town all week. Nice stroll from the house to the beach looking at all of the beautiful homes on Windsor Ave. We will highly recommend this home as a perfect getaway to our friends and family! We had a wonderful time at the beach staying in Aunt Helens house. The home was well kept and child friendly. I was very impressed when I saw the room with twin beds. They had bedrails available if needed and black out curtains! It was perfect for my toddler. The outdoor shower was wonderful for sandy kids and the hose was god send! We spent our evenings on the covered porch. The children loved watching the horses go by each evening. The owner was prompt with responses and made us feel welcomed. If traveling with young children, consider bringing a narrow baby gate for the stairs. The best part was parking the car once and never using it again. There are no spaces but it was not difficult to find parking close by.

Aunt Helen's House was absolutely perfect in every way. My husband and I rented it with my son and daughter-in-law and their two children (ages 2-1/2 and 7 months). It had everything we needed, and was bright and clean. We spent many hours on the front screened in porch, and also in the backyard. The bikes provided were a real plus. The living room/diningroom/kitchen area was perfect for us, and we loved the character and layout. Both bathrooms were clean and pretty. The washer/dryer was nice to have. We had perfect weather every single day we were there, and enjoyed so many activities - biking, walking, the beach, the horse-carriage tour, sunset beach looking for Cape May diamonds, the shopping and down town area and so much more. We all loved it so much, and will definitely go back to this same house again. The location is perfect too. Thank you!!!

My family of four, as well as friends with two children, rented this home at the beginning of the Summer. The house was the perfect size for four adults and four children. The house was clean, had all of the amenities we were looking for and was in the perfect location from the Washington Mall and the Beach. On top of it all the owners were great to work with!

We loved everything about this house. I would definitely rent here again. Perfect location.
