Property was as advertised. Loved the huge dining table that served our whole family at dinner and the breakfast nook which was great for small gatherings. Beach toys provided saved us a trip to target. Five stars.

Love how we can come and go to the beach as we please. No need for all the packing and unpacking of chairs, coolers, or toys. When we are hungry or tired we just head up to the house for a break. Made all our meals there and enjoyed looking at the ocean. Enjoyed a well stocked kitchen. Had many sunrise walks and evening walks. Booked for next year!!

We arrived, beds were already made, kitchen was already organized, unpacked and went out to Sliders down S. Fletcher.
Monday was spent riding on CAT boats to Cumberland Island - what a blast! Ben was a fantastic leader. Then, to the beautiful easily accessible beach via the board walk. Beach chairs were provided in the rental and had zipper pockets to store suntan lotion, phones, drinks, and books. Each day we spent time riding the waves, walking and relaxing on the beach. Gas and charcoal grills were used to cook burgers for dinner followed by games provided by the rental. After fishing with D & R Charters (Dave), the Salty Pelican cooked our catch - delicious! Driving to activities was simple due to the rental location. There are many walking and bicycle trails throughout the island with parking. Finally, the Ghost Tour was not an experience to miss. Laura from the History Museum took our group on a story filled tour of Fernadina. We will be returning!

This house was everything we needed for our group of 7 girls! We loved walking the beach and the proximity to downtown Fernandina. The house was immaculately clean and a great layout for a friends trip. We already look forward to returning soon!

This home exceeded all our expectations and is perfect for a family beach vacation. There was a baby gate for the stairs, high chair, kids toys, games, beach towels and so many extras! The garage was loaded with chairs, kites, coolers, boogie board, beach toys and a wheeled cart for transport! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Our teens and 1 year old loved being able to run back and forth to the beach all day and I loved not having to load up a days worth of supplies every morning. 😉 Being a short walk away for diaper changes, meals, nap time etc was worth every penny! The deck and huge windows were amazing for watching sunrises and seeing bunnies play in the back yard. Amy, the property manager, was phenomenal. We had the BEST time and will definitely be back!

Our family, including my husband, two boys, and myself, eagerly booked a VRBO in Amelia Island for a three-day stay as part of our road trip from Connecticut. We anticipated a relaxing break after long hours of driving, particularly from South Carolina to Amelia Island.
Unfortunately, our expectations were met with disappointment upon arrival. The most significant issue we faced was the lack of heating in the house. Despite being exhausted from our journey, we spent a night in uncomfortably cold conditions. This was especially challenging for our young boys.
Given the situation, we had no choice but to exit the property early the next morning. It was disheartening to have our much-needed rest disrupted and our plans unexpectedly changed.
While the location and potential of the property were promising, the absence of basic amenities like heating during our stay was a considerable letdown. We hope this feedback helps in making necessary improvements to ensure a comfortable experience for future guests.

Over all impression is good. Wonderful location and views. Easy walk to beach to beach with pier right behind house. Location of restaurants and grocery store nearby. Home has good space and everything needed for good stay.
Only negative not mentioned ahead are the steep wooden stairs between bottom and top floors. Not padded for safety although there is a handrail. A bit dangerous there.

This home is all that is advertised both in written description and pictures. My son got married at the Oyster Bay Yacht Club which was about 15 minutes away so we'd reserved this home to accomodate our family. I especially wanted big views for our 92 year old dad (groom's grandfather) since he would be spending a lot of time sitting. This house was perfect. Open, welcoming and easy to move in. The staircase does have a rail and since grandaddy only had to navigate once a day he was fine with it as a trade for the views from inside and on the porch. Lovely place that we would stay in again should we be down that way.

This is not our first visit to this house! We love it here! The location perfect, the views breathtaking, the comfort and cleanliness unmatched! I could stay forever! Perfect for a group! The furniture and beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is so well stocked! We will be back!

This property was amazing! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The beach is so close to the house and easy access. The view from the house is incredible. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. The property is close to restaurants and downtown area. We can’t wait to visit again. The owner was easy to communication with and accommodating to our needs!!

This beach home was immaculate with a impressive open kitchen that overlooks the family room. We enjoyed relaxing on the upper deck that has an unbelievable view of the ocean! It was nice to have a private access to the beach. Our family had an amazing time. We plan to stay here again when we return to Amelia Island.

Extended family of 10 stayed very comfortably. We cooked our entire week. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for all our meals. We especially loved the back porch to sit and enjoy seeing and hearing the ocean. We were sad when our week came to an end. Already booked next year.

As beautiful as pictured on line. Amazing location on the beach and an easy drive to historic town and sights. House is comfortable and the spacious kitchen, which is well stocked with appliances, pans and dinnerware, made it a joy for this family of foodies to cook gourmet meals each night. Highly recommend. Host is attentive and gracious. Our vacation was absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful property - prime location on the beach with a private entrance. We loved waking up to gorgeous sunsets, walking on the beach (even when it got down to the 30’s). We had relaxing nights doing a puzzle - the house has tons of boardgames so dont pack any! We cooked every day in a well stocked kitchen. On the last night we ate at The Boathouse in Fernandina Beach - highly recommend that even for the kiddos. Downtown Fernandina Beach is so quaint, full of good places to eat and friendly locals. As I said before the worst part was leaving! Also special shoutout to Amy who was so helpful before, during and after our stay. She is super responsive even on Christmas Day!!!

We were there for our sons wedding. This house is a spacious four bedroom home right on the beach that was perfect for our whole family. It is probably one of the best equipped VRBOs we’ve been at! Any communication with Amy the manager was answered within minutes. HIGHLY recommend this house!!!

Having direct access to the beach from such a beautiful property made this stay so much more enjoyable. I have limited mobility but lobe the beach. Being able to walk down our own board walk and then rest at a beautiful bench before going down perfectly placed steps had me weeping with joy everyday at sunrise. So grateful for this amazing home.

Truly enjoyed this home with our extended family. Well equipped, great location, very peaceful. Awesome communication with property manager which was nice! Had a few suggestions on improvement that management told me they would consider. For ex: BBQ not properly working, deeper cleaning of kitchen (oven, inside cabinets) and more beach umbrellas. Highly recommend staying here :)

We stayed her at the end of the week. We had been on a cruise and stopped in for two nights before heading home. I would absolutely recommend this property. I would stay here again. It was just as described on the website. Large enough for 8 of us to have plenty of room. Very clean, convenient location. Nice kitched set up. We loved it. Thank you!!!

We chose this house as the location of my clients annual Business Strategy Planning retreat. Excellent property, very well maintained, and beautiful ocean view. Beach access was very easy right from backyard. Would highly recommend this property!
