This property was perfect for a getaway in the mountains. Lots of room and outdoor space, while being extremely clean and cozy. The check-in process couldn't have been easier and instructions were laid out very clearly. The host was extremely kind and responded quickly. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Idyllwild.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay after Christmas in this cozy cabin. Bed in Master bedroom is very comfortable, and love the fire-place in the room, adds a little special touch.
Kitchen is clean and very well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The view is beautiful and we loved dining out on the deck watching the various birds land on ledge and nature all around us.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home in the Idyllwild area. It's always clean, quiet and the view into the forest from the balcony can't be beat. We are big into birding and love to watch the birds visiting the balcony feeder - even added a new bird to our life list during this visit! First time seeing a Brown Creeper in the wild! Mark is a terrific host - very communicative and easy to work with. We look forward to visiting again!

Professionally managed, well equipped, quiet property. Parking is a bit tight, but the outstanding views more than compensate for that small issue. Paradise in the mountains
The house and property were just wonderful. The view from the back deck must be seen to be believed! We went straight out to the deck as soon as we walked in. And that was just the beginning. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the cookware we needed. That's important to us because we enjoy cooking and we made a lot of delicious meals right there at the house. The bedroom we stayed in was super-comfy and easy to sleep in. The house is well-stocked with books and games, and all the viewing features you could want. The three nights we had there were just not enough and we plan on coming back for longer stays. But as nice s the accommodations are, the host makes everything even nicer.. Mark made sure that all the details were covered and helped us every step of the way, from booking to checkout. We have nothing but praise for the accommodations and the host. It all was a wonderful getaway for us,

Multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy including the lower part of property with hammock, corn hole with a in the forest feel- because it is! I saw a deer the first time I hammocked!

Could not have been more perfect!
This was our first trip to Idyllwild and we were hoping for a quiet spot to just sit and read/recoup. We could not have been happier with Mountain View! The house was incredibly well stocked and genuinely the cleanest rental we've ever experienced. It also really does have the most spectacular panoramic view from the back deck. We spent basically all day on the deck enjoying the view and all the birds/squirrels. We are very much looking forward to returning! Thank you for sharing this amazing home!

Wonderful location with fantastic views over the mountains from all rooms. Good amenities and outdoor spaces. The track to the house is challenging in snow conditions but we were fore-warned about that. We'd love to come back in a the summer months too.

Beautiful home and location
The house was very, very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. The view and backyard area was beautiful. We even managed to see the Milky Way on a clear night and tons of stars. It's about 10 minutes from the village and very close to nearby trails that we enjoyed.

Wonderful setting, clean and with all that you might need!
What a wonderful 2nd stay in this home. It is impeccably clean and has all the linens and kitchen amenities you could need (including condiments, coffee, tea!). There is also a great assortment of indoor and outdoor games and DVDs. Eat inside, on the front deck, or back deck and enjoy the views. Loved the addition of a hammock in the back area to enjoy the mountain views and also took advantage of sipping my morning coffee in the adirondeck chairs on the hillside. We enjoyed hanging out at the house and getting some great hiking in nearby. What a relaxing getaway. We will return! Thanks Mark!

Amazing Property- Don't Miss This One!
Mark's place was an amazing rental for my family of four! The area and the view are so beautiful and relaxing. Mark was a great communicator and the entry to the house was very easy. The house itself is gorgeous and the furniture was so comfortable. We spent our days touring the area and visiting the super cool town of Idyllwild (only a 5 minute drive away). The road up to the location was twisty, but getting up to the top of the mountain and seeing the views while relaxing in the house was so worth it! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for an awesome location and a great host to work with. We hope to stay at this house again in the future. Thank you, Mark!

Very quite and peaceful sitting outside on the deck listening to the wind thru the trees and all the different bird sounds.
The beds were comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. Had a ton of fun making fires each day with my son.
