My partner and I wanted a weekend getaway from the South Bay and were delighted by our stay in this home. Dillon Beach is a quiet beach town and this home offers amazing views of the water. Great open living space for hanging out/cooking and very comfortable bedroom. Would definitely stay here again! Recommend K&A Takeaway for delicious sandwiches (just ten minutes drive from the house).

This property has an amazing view and would be perfect for a couple. The primary bedroom was great. However, the second bed was very uncomfortable and seemed like a double bed, not a queen. We really enjoyed the big open living room/kitchen but be warned that if you are used to staying at beach houses this kitchen is missing utensils so make sure to bring your own. The huge windows provided gorgeous views of the water but they do not have shades or blinds so at some times of the day the sun would be blinding and there was nothing we could do about it. The property was very clean so that was a plus. Good for a weekend but no longer.

Beautiful home and amazing views. Clean and contemporary home. Have to say I cooked all our meals and brought quite a bit of what I needed. The house really has very little and would have been great if we ate out a lot. Spices were almost empty. All the cookware was great. For the cost of the rental expected a bit more to be available. Perfect property for 3-4 adults! The views from the windows were spectacular, and the open floor plan, and the furniture and color selections created the illusion of a much larger house. The new outside porch was the perfect finishing touch. A great place for adult (senior) siblings to reconnect and relax 😁

Everything is just as shown. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Amazing views of the ocean. Will definitely come back.

This place was amazing! We would love to stay again..with that being said.. The VRBO add says 2 blocks from the beach and with the pics this looks like an easy walk but it is not… the house sits on a steep hill. The house was very comfortable but the sheets and blankets(it gets chilly) smelled as of someone poured gain detergent straight on them.. it was very strong smelling! I would recommend this house!❤️

This was our second stay at this property. We enjoy it each year as it offers such gorgeous views, convenient proximity to Dillon Beach and a comfortable, quiet and peaceful stay. :)

The location was off the beaten path and exactly what we were looking for in the middle of our California vacation. Home was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed to cook and stay in. View was magnificent.

This house has an amazing location 2 minutes from Dillon Beach. Also quick car rides to Marshall, Petaluma and Bodega Bay. The house itself is super clean and has all the amenities you need, along with an incredible view of the bay. Highly recommend.

This stay was all about the huge picture windows for us. The views were spectacular and the windows made us feel as if we were gazing at paintings at every turn. The beach and bay are very beautiful. You can see all the way across the bay to the National seashore. We loved watching the tides come and go… as well as the fog. There is a fun trail down to the beach from the neighbor. A bit of vertical hiking is required to come and go but the effort is worth it. The beach is really nice with giant rocks at one end and a long expanse of sand at the other. Lots of families were having fun on the shore. Lots of folks walking dogs. Everyone was so nice and happy. Almost every time we looked out in the yard, we saw wildlife of all kinds… birds, rabbits, hares and deer. So cool!!! And at night… all the houses turn off their lights so that you really get to enjoy the night sky. So special!! There is a little general store down by the beach in case you want a snack or forgot something. There is also a restaurant. You really have everything you need in this tiny community.

Nice property with amazing view ( in between the fog ) Could use some small items … bbq brush, more silverware, a good can opener. Very quiet area with deer, rabbits and even a fox … don’t understand the front porch … very well built but can’t see out to the great views to the east so no need to be there except for cooking on the bbq … plexiglass panels would make the deck a place to be .

Great host. The first morning we made coffee with the marker at the house. Next thing we knew coffee was everywhere. Contacted the host and by the end of the morning a new coffee maker was delivered. Great service. Great house. Awesome views.

The view from the living area and the primary bedroom is as described - beautiful, vast, calming. It is fun to watch the turkey vultures and other birds playing in the wind. There is little to no view from the deck, but having a grill was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay.

We (4 adults) stayed here in the end of March. We were stunned by the view. The house was clean and fresh! This property was everything they say! The constant visit by the mule deer and seeing the cows everyday just added to the wonder.

We spent a weekend with relatives. The house was comfortable. We had beautiful weather. The views were stunning and the ease of access to the beach was a pleasant surprise.

This was our second time staying at this property and we love the house with its amazing views. They have upgraded the patio since we were here last time and event though there were no outdoor furniture there yet, I'm sure the space will be great to use with added tables and chairs. Wil come back again

Comfortable with great view of the ocean. Long steep walk to the beach but a great workout for the able. Hawks and vulture are at eye level soaring by. We enjoyed our stay for certain.

The process of reviewing the property, making the reservation, and checking in all online was easy.

This property and John are just wonderful and outstanding. We lost power because of the storm and he dropped off an extra lantern for us. The beds are very comfortable. The whole atmosphere of the home and the people makes you feel at home. Watching the sunset from the living room is something that’s awesome. It’s so clear outside also at night you can gaze up at the stars. Will absolutely stay again.

A beautiful home with amazing views. Only problem is no door on the bathroom gives one view too many.

We rented the house w the description as “path down to the beach”. As one would think, the location should be right near the beach. We didn’t double check it on a map as we wouldn’t think anything would be misleading on this site. The “path down to the beach” was down a steep road w no side walk approx 500-1000 ft downhill to then have to walk through a neighborhood another 200 yards or more to then get to the true path and stairwell down to the beach. Totally unrealistic to bring anything w you for a day at the beach. Next thing: when you rent a house, you’re supposed to have access to the whole house. Not here. We had no garage access. Our ice chest that we transported all our food had to stay outside on the front porch. Good thing I didn’t walk away, I suppose. There was a room below the main floor we had no access to either.. apparently the owner was storing items in each of these spaces. The owner had access to them separate from the living quarters. There were locked exterior doors into both those areas. But then the owner also had access into the living quarters from those areas. The door from inside the house into the garage was locked from the outside in. This was more than a little unsettling. There was an animal carcass on the property in direct line of site from the main living room windows. And not a small animal at all. Appeared to be the meaty rib cage of a deer. Flies, maggots, and stench. Also, despite the written prohibition regarding renters being pets, the property was also strewn w what appeared to be dog feces. Obviously the property wasn’t inspected and maintained prior to our arrival. Asking questions of the landlord, per phone contact as directed in the property directions, was contentious. I guess once you ask too many questions or make too many requests, he can make himself unavailable other than through Vrbos website and email contact. Thanks for picking up the animal carcass The living spaces was relatively clean, and the views were wonderful. We’ll go back to Dillon beach, but not to this address.
