We really enjoyed staying at the Worley’s place.
The waterfront location walking distance to several beaches was unbeatable.
The lanai starts to get shady in the late morning allowing for peaceful, relaxing times watching the giant green turtles frolicking in the surf.
The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly functional and equipped for preparing simple meals.
Our hosts were quickly responsive, and provided great recommendations for beaches, food and live music on the island.
Will definitely consider staying here again when we return to Kauai.

Hard to summarize in a few words-The property owner is very detailed oriented with instructions/places to go to etc-NO detail was left unanswered! BUT their place was way beyond our expectations! Haha The kitchen is better stocked than mine at home-The location is perfect-seeing the sunrise outside our lanai and also seeing sea turtle swim there also was just magical-i have so much more i could share about this property-perfection, quiet, and a perfect Hawaiian vibe is what it exudes!

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice listening to the waves at night. We were close to a lot of beaches and had a lot of supplies (boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling gear, ice chest….)provided to take to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. The tv is very small in the living room but we were in Hawaii and we weren’t planning on watching a lot of tv anyway. Everything was simple and easy. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores. The condo was perfect for my wife and I. Coffee in the morning and afternoons watching the sea turtles on the lanai were probably our favorite parts. The condo has all you need for meals there, as well as beach chairs, umbrella, cooler etc. Communication with Chris was easy and he was very quick to answer any questions we had. The Beach House restaurant next door was really good, expensive, but really good. We saw mixed reviewed on line, but we went once for dinner and once for happy hour and were impressed both times.
There are small beaches you can walk to, Lawai on the other side of the Beachhouse, and Baby Beach a block or so away.
We would stay here again for sure!

Can’t imagine a better view of the coast. We left the door and windows open to listen to the surf all night long. We saw many turtles just a few yards from the patio every day. Highly recommend this for nature lovers. Communication was excellent as well.

Great unit. I like the decor. Many of the art pieces and displays have QR Codes to learn move about them. It's like staying at a museum! The property is well stocked, Chris is very responsive, and I've never had someone provide so much great info before arriving.
The unit has 2 AC units. When they are both going, it can sometimes "trip" them requiring the breakers to be reset. Not a big deal, and as a solo traveler, I never needed them both on at the same time. I still rate this 5 stars as everything else is so great.

My wife and I enjoyed eight (8) nights at the condo. The owner was exceptionally responsive from the date of reservation through the day of check-out. He provided an insightful PDF of ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ with ‘General Information’ about the unit, ‘Guest Service Information,’ and ‘Emergency Information.’ I made an itinerary for our eight days on the island, sent it to the owner, and he validated/recommended revisions the majority of the items I outlined for each day – something no other VRBO owner has ever offered…exemplary! The king bed was comfortable. We used the A/C unit in the bedroom periodically to lower the humidity, otherwise the airflow through the unit kept the unit sufficiently cool. There are dozens of hangars in the closet. The refrigerator’s icemaker was a great benefit. We cooked half our dinners at the condo – everything in the kitchen worked well. We loved seeing all the turtles immediately outside the condo’s lanai. The unit owner provided great insights to parking – we successfully evaded the ‘parakeet poop bombing’ each night. The location of the condo is phenomenal – we used the unit as a ‘hub’ to ‘spoke’ out to every part of the island, west, south, east, and even two days driving to the north shore. We would definitely stay at this unit again!!

We spent 9 nights here for our 25th anniversary. We loved our time here! The ocean right outside the door was amazing, the best white noise ever! We spent many lunches and dinners on the lanai watching the turtles bob around the rocks right in front of us, so cool! After one day of hiking we didn't feel like going to a restaurant so went to the food truck just down the road, "Riptides" and ate out on the lanai. So relaxing!
Just around the corner were the most beautiful sunsets. Everything you need is right there! We brought our beach chairs onto the rocks to watch the sunset one night. Million dollar view! We used the cooler and there were even ice packs to keep our perishables fresh. A scale in the closet made packing for the airport very easy, too. Chris and Becky have thought of everything, even an iPad loaded with Hawaiian music which was so fun to have on with the background of the waves just outside! The location was awesome. A few days we traveled north and had a bit of rain, but Poipu was primarily sunny. We enjoyed many walks to Spouting Horn, closeby, and it never got old. Go at high tide! Amazing vacation, wonderful place, you will be glad you stayed here if you do. Mahalo, Chris and Becky!

Have stayed repeated at this facility for its location oceanfront and for the great snorkelling area immediately adjacent. Loved Chris’s unit on the ground floor with all the authentic Hawaiian features of beautiful native wood finishing and art. Beyond the craftsman wood features, the king bed was comfortable with nice linens, kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom had a large shower with lots of towels. We will be back!!

We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something on the ocean. The view is incredible! The condo itself it also beautiful, the artwork and woodwork is really unique. It was more spacious than we expected based on the pictures. We were comfortable with 2 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is fully stocked, we had everything we needed to prepare meals. And the host was very helpful and responsive, with lots of great tips on local attractions, restaurants, etc… it was really hard to leave this place!

The lanai offers a perfect vantage point to enjoy the sunrises in the mornings then throughout the day you’ll find the sea turtles feeding in the bay.
The condo was neat, clean, and very comfortable to relax in, while the centralized location made it easy to explore different beaches - some within walking distance and others just minutes away.
The owners were very responsive! Chris shared a wealth of information about the island before our trip and made sure all our questions were answered.

We had the best time here. We only had 3 days which is not enough to enjoy everything in the area. However, we managed to golf, snorkel, walk to Sheraton and Shops at Kukuiula, and eat at Beach House restaurant right next door. Best of all we enjoyed the turtle viewing off the lanai and the best sunsets steps away.
The condo is equipped with anything you may need, from cookware to beach toys.

The property was perfect for our first stay ever in Kauai. The property manager went above and beyond with communicating with us and dealing with any issues that arose. He also gave us many helpful recommendations to improve our stay. We are incredibly grateful that we lucked out and got to rent this property, because of the property itself, and the property owner. This condo is in a great location near snorkeling and surfing. The patio faces East so great for watching the sunrise and sitting in the evening without direct sun. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler that we used. The bed is comfortable and the AC works well if you feel like you need it. Just be aware that if you have others in your party that stay up later or get up early, there is frosted/etched glass between bedroom and hall/living room so you will get the light from the living space into the bedroom. The owner is very responsive and gives lots of information about the unit and area. It is roughly an hour to Waimea Canyon, 20 min to Lihue, 40 min to Kapaa and 1 to 1 1/2 hours to things along the north shore. Less than 10 min to Poipu. Would definitely stay again!

Photos do the property justice but what cannot be quantified was how receptive the host Chris was. Every question was answered darn near immediately and I was given updates on what was happening on Kauai while I was there. Couldn't ask for better communication. Chris even worked with his cleaner after I left an airpod under the bed. I was able to pay his cleaner via Chris and my airpod got promptly mailed back to me.
The property itself also can't be beat. Want to see turtles after taking one step out the back door? This place has you covered. We stopped going to the beaches as our back deck had a better view and was far more peaceful.
When Chris warns you about the Poipu Parrots... heed the warning. Don't park under the trees or you'll be hosing off an unholy amount of parrot poop before you rental car paint gets destroyed.
All in all I would stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful southern Kauai location, just minutes from unobstructed sunrise or sunset views, or juat stay on the property to watch either come up/go down over just a small sliver of island. Awesome sea turtle watching location. Surfing most evenings on the beach house side of the complext. I can't say enough good things about the property and its location.

The condo is beautiful, a tour of Kauai culture in itself. We just loved sitting on the patio and watching the turtles in the waves and rocks. It is definitely one of our top 5 traveling experiences. First of all, the owner is super communicative and clearly wants to make sure that the people who rent the condo have everything they need. They were happy to answer any questions we had and give us suggestions on things to do and places to see.
When we walked in, there was hawaiian music playing as the breeze filled the space with the island breeze we have come to love during our stay. The pictures can't even do the condo or the view justice... and the attention to detail and respect for hawaiian culture shines through.
The sound of the oceans calming waves soothed us to sleep every night and we didn’t even have to turn on the AC while we were there due to the wonderful trade winds. We saw sea turtles right from the lanai, watched the sunset from the property, and enjoyed watching the sunrise almost daily.
There is beautiful local art all around the condo, and it' centrally located so that we were able to go on countless adventures during our stay. We cannot recommend this unit enough, book it!

Poipu is within 20 mins from most attractions. Condo is located near a beach which is popular for snorkeling.
Condo is nicely decorated. It had all required pots and pans, basics like sugar, salt, coffee. Shutters are nice as it kept the morning sun out. Nights were pleasant in backyard.
Chris had sent us very detailed communication, shared photos and what to expect. It helped settle down quickly.

Great snorkeling on the other side of unit. 10 minutes walk to shopping and all sorts of food.
For us this area was a bit full of people. While there were waves there was also cars and people always near by all the time.
For the price this was a perfect stay, close to all south shore has to offer without the resort fees and families everywhere.

We had 3 major tours planned and the rest we played by ear. The hosts provided is an extensive list of recommendations of things to do, sites to see, snorkeling sites. There is a very detailed document provided at time of booking that provided all information that we needed. We ended up eating in most of the time. We had a hard time just leaving the condo. It was such a beautiful view all day. We watched the most amazing sunrises, the turtles play peekaboo throughout the day, and walked around the building for beautiful sunsets and watching the sunset surfers. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the safe was easy to use. The condo was clean and comfy. Our hosts were extremely commutative and even helped with understanding the local forecasts for planning our tours. If we come back to this island we will 100% see if this rental is available. Thank to our hosts for going above and beyond even after checkout when we lost our keys (which we finally found in a hidden pocket in our backpack the 3rd time going through it). He checked the safe a couple times for us even though we were already on the mainland. We are extremely grateful for the hospitality, graciousness, and thoughtfulness of our hosts!!! We LOVED our stay at this beautiful condo. We sat on the lanai and watched the turtles surf in with the many waves. The Condo was lovely, just like the photos! The kitchen had everything you could think of (it felt like home).
We will definitely be back and extend the stay next time!

This location is beautiful. Right next to the water. The condo has everything you could need in the kitchen along with beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear etc. Very easy communication with the owner.
