I love the location; it's right by the mall so anything / everything I needed was nearby. I also love how big the beds are, to the point that it takes up so much space. I also love that there is a little lounge area on our floor with a table and chairs and water. The view from the 5th floor was also beautiful. Staff was super friendly; they will hold your luggage for you, if needed.

There isn't an option to have a late check out, unless you want to pay to have it until 6pm. Water bottles in the lobby are not free; I wasn't aware of this.

Very convenient location right next to Robinson's mall. The staff are very friendly and the security seems vigilant which is good given the history of unrest in the country. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with a good shower.

The rooms are a little inconsistent. I've stayed in 3 so far and they were all very different in size. Some had ample space to hang / store clothes, others had none. The size of the shower also varies although the power / quality of the shower is the same. Windows could do with a bit of a clean since the frequent rain seems to leave quite a bit of water marking.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning has a remote control and is very effective. The shower was fantastic with good pressure and both rainfall and a regular shower head. There's a machine in the hallway that can dispense both hot and cold water, fantastic if you're British and want to make some tea! The staff were always very helpful and the cleaning staff responded very quickly when we spilled some food on the bed and needed to change the sheets.

Would be nice to have a wardrobe to hang / store clothes. A nice addition to the communal area with the water dispenser would be a microwave to heat up food. The sheets had a few small stains / marks, I don't think they were actually dirty so it didn't bother me but it might put some people off. My room was right opposite the lift (elevator) and people could be quite loud, given I like to sleep in late that was a little bit annoying but not the end of the world. If I could have any wish then I would love a small fridge in the room to store some milk and a few things but I wouldn't expect a fridge at this price point.

Security / Poor handling of emergency protocols - On Oct 28 at around in the afternoon , there was an emergency announcement and asked all visitors to vacate their rooms . We were asked by the hotel cleaners to take the exit door a few rooms away from ours when there was an exit door right in front of our room. I had parents who were senior citizens that had to ran from the 4F - GF . We were greeted with a huge smoke at the 4F and reached the outside of the robinsons mall. The hotel staff do not even know how to open the door. No marshalls available. By the time we're outside of the lobby , nobody in the hotel staff briefed us what happened and it seemed like there was nothing going on. When asked, the hotel staff just said there was someone smoking vape at the 3F and did not entertain our questions any further . We were all still shaking and they just asked us to go upstairs . VERY VERY POOR handling of emergency given that we are in Mindanao. It seemed like they were downplaying what happened because the next day, a canine unit was already posted in the lobby door . Check in wait time - Our flight was delayed so we came to.Iligan by 5pm but only 2/3 rooms located at the same floor were ready as they said they were still cleaning it. My brother ended up at the 5F. So at the time there was an emergency he was still at his room. It should have been ready since check in time was supposed to be 2PM. Only 1 key card provided - We had to turn off the A/ C everytime we leave ZONROX / clorox smell - The room had a strong zonrox smell when you first enter the room and everytime you turn off the A/ C . It was suffocating. No kettle available - you have to walk to the center of the floor to get hot water from the dispenser No free coffee and cups - Even 3 in 1 coffee was not provided Doesn't change the sheets - We stayed here for 4 days and even rquested for change of sheets but they did not do it .
