This was a great property. It was everything we wanted. It was so close to the beach and the pool at the house was perfect for the children. The house was in a great location and walking to different places was so easy. I would recommend this to friends.

Cons - terrible cookware, old outdated and sticky - not enough cookware to cook for 10-15 people.

House was nice , pool was dirty no one came all week to clean it. Asked specifically about a Keurig and was told there was one but there was not. We had to buy one to accommodate the families different coffee likes. I texted and never got an answer. Beach access was good and beach set up good.

We arrived and the pool was disgusting. We called. They came two days later to clean it. Two tv’s in the media room did not work at all. The other one didn’t have a remote. We called because the kids were looking forward to playing the Xbox. A technician came out a day later. He told us he would be back the following day with a new tv and remotes. He never showed up. That’s a lot of money to pay and they can’t even fix things that are broken. The lights in the bunk bed room

Nice property
We enjoyed our stay at Happy Go Lucky. The pool size was amazing compared to others in the area. There was plenty of space for our 12 guests. Our biggest complaint would be the horrible internet service at the house. If you’re looking to do any work on vacation or need internet, don’t book at this property. The area is also super busy, so it made it difficult to eat at any restaurant around the area.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room for our large family! Private pool, community pool and beach access was great! When the coffee pot quit, replaced same day. Beach equipment was great! Wonderful!

Enjoyable stay
We stayed here for 2 weeks for virtual school for 6 kids and one adult to work from home. It was a great choice. The house is very roomy and beautifully decorated. Everyone had space to work and space to play together when not online. The kids were in heaven on the top floor. We chose to have the pool heater which was an amazing decision as it was used often. The location was nice as it was just 5 min walk to the beach. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would love to be back.

Great place to stay close to the beach.
Great place to stay. Loved the open ness of the place. We had 16 people here and it was plenty of room. Kitchen fully stocked. Nights and days at the pool had plenty of room. The house really has 3 adult bedrooms with a door. We put an adult couple in the loft area and there was no privacy. That really needs to be for a teenager or a young couple who doesn’t care that everyone will walk through their room to go to the bunk room. The walk to the beach was easy. We rented a golf cart and that made packing to the beach much better but it can be done easily without. Golf carts are street legal so it’s nice to have to run to the circle k or the Winn Dixie. Management was awesome. Always responded when I needed them.

Great Stay
Overall very nice stay at this home. Location is great just a short walk to the beach which is key as there is really no parking. The beach is private so was never too crowded whenever we went over and the chair service is so nice because you don't have to worry about finding a spot.
We loved having our own pool and made good use of the gas grill. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils although pots and pans are showing their age. Not sure if it is COVID related but you must bring all of your own consumable items. Kitchen was bare not even salt and pepper, small bar soap, one roll of paper towels a few dishwasher tablets and a couple of trash bags.
We realized the refrigerator went out on Monday evening and the management company was very responsive but it was not able to be repaired until the next day. They offered to refund the cost of a cooler and ice to keep the refrigerated items from spoiling although we are still waiting on the reimbursement.

Property is amazing
The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bunk room on the top floor is great for the kids. The pool is a good size and it was great to have it in our backyard. Kitchen had everything you need! Very short walk to the beach and it was nice to have 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. House is perfect for 2-3 families to share. The area is crowded but you are very close to restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay!

Great Property for 3 families
We had 6 adults, 6 teenage boys, and 2 8-year-old girls stay at the property for our spring break, and it was the perfect amount of space and an ideal location! We loved having a pool on property for the girls to swim any time of day. The beach is literally a 3-4 minute walk which was nice for multiple trips back and forth if we forgot something, wanted to grab a quick bite to eat, or wanted to use the bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils so we cooked several meals at home rather than always going out to eat. There is a coffee shop just a couple of blocks away and while at the beach, we were located at the halfway point between Pompano Joe's and The Whale's Tail - great for lunch or happy hour! The only downside to the house is the third floor bunk room gets pretty hot so the boys were uncomfortable a couple of nights. We will stay in this home again if we choose Miramar Beach as a vacation location!!

Beautiful Home, Exceptional Pool! This IS Living!!!
What a beautiful house. Everything is new and so well kept. More than enough space for everyone - whether we wanted the privacy of the second tier front porch, or the fun and excitement of the stunning and spacious pool - this place has it all!
Quick and pleasant response from property manager, and Carrie answered every question we had (sometimes several times!) and was sweet as can be.
I will recommend this property a thousand times over - just not for the weeks we plan to return :)

Happy Go Lucky for Happy Go Luckies!!!
This home was 10x better than I ever expected!!! Happy Go Lucky was spacious and fully equipped with every thing you could ever imagine! The kitchen was very spacious and fully stocked with all appliances and cookware to make food preparations a breeze. The grill was awesome, the pool was awesome, the stay was awesome and my concierge was awesome!!! I fell in love with the porch on the second floor balcony, and with 5 bathrooms everyone had plenty of space to get ready for our day.The walk to the beach was just a few minutes and the outlets were just down the road! My family and I were so pleased with our stay at Happy Go Lucky that we're already starting to plan for next year! Trust me, if you book Happy Go Lucky, you will not be disappointed!!!

Great House! Great Stay!
Can't say enough good things about our experience at Happy Go Lucky. The house was just as the photos showed and was super clean! Plenty of space for kids of all ages and roomy kitchen made meal prep simple. One of the most under rated features was the pool. Great size for smaller kids and a great place to relax after a hot day on the beach. Happy Go Luck comes with umbrellas & chairs automatically set-up on the beach each morning. Fabulous perk to insure a great spot on the beach each day. The beach is an easy 3-4 min. walk from the front door, so made multiple daily trips a breeze. Happy Go Lucky or bust!

Fantastic Home
We rented this property for our family vacation and beach wedding. The home is within walking distance to the beach and the private pool is fabulous! The home is spacious and the decor is great. Three families stayed in the home and the teenagers loved the loft area and bunkroom! Our wedding was on the beach and the reception was held back at the home. There was plenty of room in the driveway for a large tent with additional tables and seating that we rented from a local company. We would highly recommend a stay at Happy Go Lucky!

Vacation in style
The house is spacious and serene, with a peaceful back yard and pool that was the highlight of our time there. Such beautiful decor. And thoughtful use of the third floor (which could sleep quite a lot of people but each bed is comfortable and elegant). It's difficult to think of who this oasis wouldn't be good for!
You're a very short walk from a really beautiful beach that you don't have to share with many people. The water is clear and pleasant. Shops and restaurants walkable, and if you rent a golf cart, it easily opens up even more options.

Spring Break 2016
Destin is a beautiful area and this property is a beautiful home. We had children ranging in ages 14 months to 12 year old and this was a great home to accomodate them. There was a very fun living area with bunks and TVs for the kids on the upper floor, with enough room for 6 + kids. Each of the 3 other bedrooms had private bathrooms which is a big plus. The pool is a fun addition to the house and there was plenty of room to hang out and cook. The concierge was great and always avialable for our questions and helpful with local recommnedations. The cons of this property are: washer/dryer in one of the bedrooms and sometimes there was not enough hot water if multiple people took showers. We would definitely rent this property again!!!

Coastal Charm!
Our week in Destin was wonderful! The house we were fortunate to stay in was simply beautiful; it was very tastefully decorated and full of coastal charm, something we appreciate when escaping our Canadian winters! The pool area was lovely, as were the covered porches both at the front and back of the house. The location is great ... a short one block walk from the absolutely stunning beaches of Destin - very fine sand and endless stretches of beach! The owner was extremely easy to deal with. He was very quick to respond to our questions/requests and was very accomodating; he did everything he could to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one. We would not hesitate to visit again!

Thanksgiving trip
We still can't figure out how we got so lucky when we booked our week at Happy Go Lucky! It was an amazing trip thanks to Laura and Carrie. The house was exactly what was described, the property and pool were picture perfect, the location is only minutes from groceries, shopping and the beach! We rented the golf cart, which I strongly recommend. It made the shuffle to and from the beach effortless! We can't wait to go back :)

Luxury home just steps away from the beach
We loved this home for our family vacation. Frangista Beach is in a great location near shopping and restaurants. This home has it's on pool and is only steps away from a private beach. A few days we went down to the Crab Shack so we would have access to restrooms and a bar. The only thing I mentioned to the rental company is that we often ran out of hot water...the home has 4.5 bathrooms. Note to big families: the 3rd floor is designed for kids and has bunk beds that can sleep 14 people!

A perfect vacation
We cannot say enough great things about this house! We have a family of 8, with kids ranging from 1-17 years old, and it was perfect for all of us! We had another family with us also and there was more than enough room. Besides being only a block from a private beach with chairs and umbrellas set up specifically for us, the house had a pool for us to relax in day or night, with a section just right for our toddler. The older kids absolutely loved the room on the third floor with the unique cubby and loft beds, and especially that there was a TV at every bed! What more could you ask for right!! The 3 master suites made it perfect for us to all have our own space, with a second floor deck, picture perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and taking in the view of the palm trees. The full kitchen, was ideal for eating in, loaded with anything you could imagine needing for cooking, and with a huge table. This house is within minutes from anything you could imagine; sand dunes and hiking, bike rentals, shopping, the beach, parasailing, wave runner rentals, restaurants and so much more. I would definitely recommend going to the beach at night and experiencing ghost crab catching. The constant squeals and laughs were beyond memorable and the atmosphere of the ocean and beach at night are breathtaking. The set up of the house is perfect for a large group of any dynamic. We are talking to our extended family now, about possibly setting up a family vacation for us all. The day we left, my kids were already asking when we were going back. It is perfect for groups of any age and I have recommended it to so many of my friends! The owners ensure that you will love everything about it, with so many little extra touches!!
