This VRBO was very disappointing. It smelled very badly of mold and musty. I slept the first night in the backseat of my sister's truck and then two nights on a chair in the livingroom by an open door. My daughter then rented a different place for us. My sisters and mom were all badly effected by this house. We were celebrating my mom's 80th birthday and instead of a pleasant time enjoying each other's company it was a disappointing and costly disaster. I told Erin about it after the fact and she said that she had dehumidifiers that we could have used. I feel that the mold was way beyond the help of dehumidifiers as the air unit in the living room was blowing the stink. I realize that this is a beach cottage and that there is high humidity, but I have stayed in other homes in the area without enduring this problem. Thank you, Robin Kelly

This home is lovely and perfect for our family gathering. Communication was great as well. The only thing I would have loved were bigger beds for the couples. Aside from that, it was great.

I have two young grandchildren who love the beach. Great ending to their summer before the start of school. Perfect in every way.

We had an incredible week! From start to finish Erin was an amazing host. The home offers everything you can ask for and more. 4 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower gave everyone the privacy we wanted but also offers an open concept kitchen/living area and a large deck for everyone to be together. Perks like a gas grill, central air, board games, and the beach pass were also the added bonus! The home is in walking distance to a market, ice cream shop, and the beach. Thanks again Erin, can't wait to come back!

This house was perfect for my family and I. Lots to do in the area, great restaurants, super close to beaches, great place to walk Or ride bikes anytime of the day or night!

We made our reservation pretty late in the season and were lucky to find this gem of a property available due to a cancellation. We were very impressed with the quiet location and amenities. A short walk to the beach, restaurants and a market. Everything we need was in this little town. I’ll be returning for sure.

Everything was very neat and clean and the full kitchen outdoor shower and grill made our vacation a breeze. The large rooms and dining/living area are super comfy. Nice walk to a beautiful beach, ice cream and market.

The location and the house were perfect. Easy walk to the beach every day. The house is roomy and beautiful. Erin is a fabulous host who is always available if you need her. She has everything there that you would need for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!

You dream, you plan, you hope that a vacation goes the way you want. For us, our dream vacation became our perfect vacation after staying a week at Erin's property in Matunuck. We needed a place that had everything and required nothing to do, and choosing this private home made that possible. From the moment we opened the door, no time was wasted shopping for necessary items, and we could begin enjoying the convenience of short walks to our favorites places: Theatre By The Sea, Ocean Mist and the Vanilla Bean. And when we tired of the ocean and beach (ha,ha), we returned to our "home" and relaxed either within the spacious indoors or outside on the private lawn. [But, always we were still able to hear the comforting and soothing sounds of the nearby waves.] Since my wife and I are both former TBTS artists, the best review we can give to Erin and her overall efforts would be a resounding, "BRAVO."

The house had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend away!

We rented Erin’s beach house for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is super charming, spacious, and cozy, and had a fully-stoked kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and super adorable, and you’re very close the beach! Erin is a great host, and wonderful communicator. We hope to come back again!

Our daughter’s 2020 wedding was postponed for a year due to Covid. Erin was so helpful in re-scheduling our stay this year. Her home was 1.5 miles from the venue and very close to other family gatherings near this house. The house is beautiful, clean and met all of our needs. She left a vase of fresh flowers to heat us. Great house and fantastic owner. She is a wonderful communicator too.

Beautiful house, well stocked, comfortable beds, spacious. The location is within walking distance to many venues. Our family would love to stay again!

Very relaxing time at this beautiful home. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. Relaxing coffee on the deck in the morning, reading in the lounge chairs under the shade of the trees in the afternoon. It was the perfect location for us to slow down and recharge. Beach was indeed a ten minute walk away. And a few more minutes got you to the Vanilla Bean for delicious ice cream. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

Our family had a wonderful week at this house. We loved that we could walk to the beach and even got to take a yoga class on the beach one morning! The house was great with large bedrooms, wonderful yard and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. The cul-de-sac location was also perfect for kids bike riding. It was really convenient to be within walking distance of a market, an ice cream stand and a few restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful week. Thank you!

The house is just as listed - only better! Clean and well taken care of. Under 10 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful, peaceful backyard. Dining set and propane grill on the deck. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of linens and bathroom towels. Excellent WiFi. Communication with the host was easy- she’s quick to respond. Shopping is about 15 minutes away and the local grocery store you can walk to is well stocked. Highly recommend !!

Loved to take our morning coffee and stroll down the meadow path to the beach. Yoga on the beach. Plenty of room to sleep and work remotely. Very quiet except the birds! Close to great market. Thank you!

The home was just perfect for our stay! We entered the house after our four hour drive to fresh flowers in the rooms, clean rooms with bright sunlight coming in, it was so refreshing. The yard was incredible for our kids to run and play. The deck and grill made it easy to spend our entire time outside. We enjoyed seeing so many bunnies on he short walk to the beach. The owner, Erin, had provide great recommendations for places to visit and dine and took the guess work out of deciding. Our family just loves the house and location and plan to be return guests.

Comfortable home in a great location!

Our expectations went well beyond what we anticipated before our stay at this terrific vacation home! The house, located on a quiet cul de sac, is very well maintained and was a perfect fit for our family of four - with plenty of room. The house really had everything so we could focus on having fun during our vacation. The homeowner, Erin, was extremely helpful and accessible, knows a great deal about the area and offered us many good suggestions on restaurants, beaches and entertainment in the immediate and surrounding areas. The large and private backyard allowed the children to play and the outdoor shower was a great way to wash away the ocean sand after returning from the many beaches in the surrounding area – there are a lot of beaches! (The local town beach is also close to the house which meant we could take a break from the sun and enjoy lunch by walking back to the house.) A spacious outdoor deck with gas grill, large washer and dryer, cable TV / Wi-Fi, updated kitchen and appliances all allowed us to catch up on some downtime at the house and recharge our batteries before venturing out again. With or without children, young and old alike, you must visit the nearby Vanilla Bean ice cream shop, the Matunuck Oyster Bar, and the local farm stand! While in Matunuck, we also took in “Sister Act” (featured for the 2016 season) at the nearby Theater-by-the Sea which was a Broadway level production of the show. This vacation house will not disappoint and is suitable for those vacationers who like to stay at home and those who like to get out and see the many attractions Matunuck and the larger Rhode Island areas have to offer. While writing this review, I think our family vacation last August was as close to perfect as possible. I totally recommend this vacation home and we've made plans to stay again this summer of 2017!
