Very well-appointed unit in a fantastic location. Just footsteps away from main strip of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in downtown Encinitas and then a few minute walk to a beautiful beach. Unit is perfect for a couple trying to get away for a quick trip in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach and Moonlight Beach Park are just a short walk, as are restaurants and shops. Although we drove, the rail line station is also close by. The unit is comfortable and well appointed. We took advantage of the beach chairs, boogie boards, and the wagon to tote them. We were happy with our choice.

The place was perfect for what I was looking for. Joe was very gracious and accommodating. Only thing that should be noted is the phone number for him that VRBO provides is incorrect. It belongs to someone in Mexico who is very tired of getting messages for our host. Can you please update the contact info so as not to further any confusion or frustration for all parties involved. Luckily Joe was on the property so we were able to connect.

Location, Location, Location. This property is so well located. It’s impossible to review without mentioning this. Joe’s communication was fast and accurate. There were a few bumps during the stay, some excess noise from a vent cleaning service, which woke me up, but it didn’t go on for long, and it would make me more comfortable if they changed the door code after each stay, but overall, the stars I’ve provided speak volumes. Did I mention the location? Thumbs 👍

Joe's place was perfect for 3 nights in Encinitas for my daughter and me. The space was very clean and comfortable, and the location can't be beat ... so close to the beach, restaurants ... and tacos. Would definitely return.

This was the perfect place to stay for a few extra days after I attended a women’s retreat in Encinitas. Close to moonlight beach and down town area to shop & eat. The villa was cozy and clean. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Joe was a wonderful host. I plan to return again!

Our stay was excellent. Couldn’t ask to be more perfectly located. You truly don’t need a vehicle. No needs or wants were over looked. Beautiful, friendly and kind neighborhood.

We were in town for a wedding. The location and setting was perfect. We could walk to dinner and to the beach. The place was nicely appointed and comfortable.

Stress free vacation, easy check in/out. Can be noisy but to be expected with proximity to bars and beach we didn’t mind. House had all amenities we needed. If you could have a better futon or pullout bed for kids would be a bonus over the fold up mattress provided. Really enjoyed our stay back in Encinitas thanks

My husband and I chose Encinitas to spend for our homeymoon. This place was affordable and super close 4 minute walk to the beach. Even all the shops, restraunts and the convenient store are short walks.
It truly is a little hidden gem. Has a private back patio, and was absolutely perfect for two people looking to enjoy a vacation by.the beach. It was too perfect. The host, Joe, was very friendly, laid back, and accomodating. Was everything i could have dreamed my honeymoon to be, thank you!

Supper good location, clean, everything you need. You can walk to the beach, clubs, brewery, and restaurants. All short walk 2-3 blocks. Great fun!

We love the check-in process! Very clean place, including all the cooking utensils, pots and pans!! Thats a plus for someone like me who likes to cook!
The bed is super comfortable! We also have no problems finding a streets parking! Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay!

Great little spot! It was a bit tight for two parents and two young (7 & 9) kids. Forced us to get outside which is exactly where you want to be in Encinitas! Joe was very responsive and made sure everything was great. Can’t wait to come back!
