Besides the ring camera out front recording, it was an amazing place! Kitchen has all the dishes you need. Plenty of bedding and placing to sleep. Amazing little hiking trail right from the porch!

Had a very nice stay at the cabin on the river. The cabin is very nice and comes with everything you need. The check in process was very easy. The host made sure we had everything we needed and was available with any questions or concerns. The location is very nice and secluded. Already booked another stay for next year. Would recommend the staying at the cabin, especially those with a family.

We booked this for a much needed weekend getaway. The whole process was seamless from check in to check out. The cabin was beyond our expectations and gorgeous. Everything we needed was so handy. Wildlife was roaming while we were on the wrap around porch. We hope to be back soon. Hal was an amazing host! THANK YOU!

Truly enjoyed our stay here ,stayed in Benezzette for three days prior to staying here An this cabin is just simply Amazing its perfect you have the allegheny Forrest the clarion river up In ridgeway there is a very nice Dog park only minutes away everything from hiking hunting or fishing at your fingertips A lot of history in this location also,,,The Host is very polite an friendly Great folks to deal with.even had decent internet for those lazy rainy days.every morning I strolled to the river,Than off we were on our adventure for the day truly a peaceful an quiet place Thanks so very much Hal for sharing this Amazing cabin,,,We will be back Thanks again…..

Nice 2 hour drive from Sewickley. Remote and secluded but not hours off the beaten path. Nice open layout, bunks in basement large and comfy. Great deck and fire pit…rustic modern. River access awesome.. water not too tame and adventurous enough.

Place was beautiful and quiet woodsy setting. Nice trail and rock formation in back. Side note: gas grill was not working properly and was full of grease so started a grease fire 🔥. And kitchen stove knobs were not working properly either, but we ended up having great meals on our griddle that we brought luckily.

the cabin is only 20 minutes from stores and restaurants but you'd think you were in the middle of nowhere. very minimal traffic and wildlife galore, I loved it and my daughter loved it even more. very convenient to the river and kayaking and we were able to take advantage of that on our stay

We rented the cabin to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. He grew up canoeing and fishing near there. It was a great weekend. Cabin was very nice and clean with great location. It was nice being close to the places where he wanted to canoe and fish. Family really enjoyed the trip and we got to bring the dog along which was great.

We LOVE staying at this cabin. The place is in great shape, the cabin is VERY clean. I texted the owner with a quick question about a local activity and Hal called me back within minutes. I certainly would never expect someone to need to do this but he did and it was very helpful. We will be back.
Also the views in the area near the river are gorgeous. We saw the best sunset we have seen in years from the bridge by the cabin(I wish we could post pictures).

The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and has pretty much anything you could need for a weekend away (kitchen items, cleaning supplies, towels, etc).
Our only “complaint” is the downstairs bedroom is very noisy between the furnace and dehumidifier but as long as you’re not a lite sleeper, it’s not a problem!
Overall a wonderful place to stay and we hope to be back again soon!

Property manager was easy to talk with. The cabin was clean, located right across from the river with plenty of access! Felt very secluded from everything, yet just a 20 min drive to town. Peaceful stay. Our two dogs were comfortable and there was plenty of places to walk them near the cabin! Would highly recommend.

The property offers plenty to do around you. The property is very well kept and offers a great home feeling. It was very quiet and secluded from others enough to not have a neighborhood feeling. Only thing that you might want to consider is a possible washer and dryer setup for those who want to stay longer than a few days or for kids that have a little more fun in the mud than expected. Overall a wonderful property with fun for all walks of life.

The cabin is very nice. Beds and living room are very comfortable. Kitchen is roomy and well stocked. I loved the wrap around covered deck. We played cards rain and shine. Very nice weekend getaway.

The several different animals displayed throughout the cabin was not just enjoyed from myself, but my wife really enjoyed them too, the deer skull mount by one of the beds could be a little much for some people. All in all we enjoyed the beautiful cabin and look forward to coming back with family and friends for many years to come

The cabin was beautiful and it had everything we needed. It even had a junk drawer! LOL. The canoe rental picked us up at the cabin and we floated to Arroyo boat launch and walked across the road to the cabin. My children were a little upset that they had no cell service; but within a few hours they actually forgot about it and enjoyed the great outdoors!

The cabin is great! Overall it was a very excellent experience. The trail to the river is a bit rough. It is easier to use the Arroyo launch then the trail. The national forest is right behind the cabin, which is cool. We saw a bear!

Says there was a trail across the street that led to the River had a hard time finding it way overgrown,home owner showed up Sunday afternoon to clear it,we were leaving the next morning.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We absolutely loved this cabin! Everything was perfect and accommodating. My teen son loved close access to the river and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and just spending time at the fire as a family. Hal was responsive in answering my questions and a great host!

The property was perfect for a get away. We could walk to the river and enjoyed a day canoeing on the river with all of the Clarion’s wildlife. The cabin had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty but that is to be expected given the location and unplugging here and there was not a bad thing. I hope to visit again.
