Must See Guadalupe Riverfront Home on Wooded Lot
¡Ven a disfrutar de las frescas y acogedoras aguas del río Guadalupe! Le encantará nuestra espaciosa casa totalmente amueblada, ubicada en un vecindario familiar. La propiedad está perfectamente situada en un lugar tranquilo del río, lejos del ajetreo y el bullicio de los turistas, pero lo suficientemente cerca para toda la diversión. Es perfecto para una reunión de grupos pequeños, una escapada de fin de semana para niñas y para familias.
La casa cuenta con un plano de planta de varios niveles con 2 dormitorios y un altillo (para 10-12, según el acuerdo), 3 baños completos, comedor para 12, cocina totalmente equipada con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, amplia sala de estar con acogedora chimenea de piedra y TV de pantalla plana, y lavadora y secadora.
El enorme patio trasero cuenta con 3 niveles de asientos al aire libre para relajarse y disfrutar de la vista del agua. Asar a la parrilla está disponible en un asador al aire libre. Más de veinte árboles de nueces de 100 pies dan sombra a la exuberante hierba junto al río, perfecta para un juego de fútbol o fútbol. Una rampa para botes está disponible cerca para lanzar botes y motos de agua. My daughters and my oldest’s bridesmaids and moms all celebrated upcoming nuptials! This house was perfect! Everyone had their own bed, the kitchen was great for entertaining, and the living room was perfect for games! The multi levels were so fun to adorn with festive decor! We drove to Gruene both evenings. The girls floated the river in San Marcos during the day! It was a perfect weekend! Thank you to Michelle for being so amazing of a hostess!

We had the best time relaxing on the Guadalupe River located steps away from the back patio. The multilevel patio/decks were so nice with plenty of chairs and awesome views of the river. The water was deep enough for floating and there was a small current in the water to sweep you away at a slow pace, so we anchored ourselves to a floating cooler to keep us in place. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway!

This past weekend we celebrated my niece’s upcoming wedding with a Bridal Shower Celebration Weekend at this beautiful River Haus! It was truly a magical place for a perfect family Bridal Shower! We absolutely loved staying at The River Haus with its beautiful architecture & floor design, as well as the breathtaking River View landscaping and outdoor accommodations! This was the perfect spot for not only the lodging at this gorgeous vacation house, but also for the convenient location into the historic town of Gruene for dinner, live music, and toasts to our bride-to-be! The River Haus was absolutely perfect in every way! And we can’t wait to visit here again!

The home was exactly what we were wanting! Very clean and the new deck is amazing! Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of room for the entire group. Communication from the host was always prompt! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a family weekend getaway. Short walk to the river. Plenty of space and sleeping spots. My family had a great time, we swam, fished, grilled out. Highly recommend!!

We had a lot of family travel to New Braunfels for a graduation and rented the house for 4 adults and one child. It was perfect. Clean, had everything we needed and a ton of space! We even had 5 unused beds! Great weekend!

This place was amazing! Not only do the pictures not do it justice, but it exceeded what I was expecting. The property owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. 10/10 I would recommend and will definitely come back for another stay sometime!

We rented the property for our son's 13th birthday celebration trip. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a very clean and sanitary environment. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family needs. This house is great, the communication with the mangers is great and we had a fantastic time. All of the amenties were amazing and we will definitely rent here again. Thanks for a great trip!

The house was beautiful and absolutely spotless upon arrival. The photos don’t do it justice, the house has SO much room and the overall set up of the house is very cool being 3 stories.

We had the best girls weekend at The Happy Place! The house was very clean and had everything in the kitchen that you need. Check in/out expectations were very clear. The Host responded very promptly. We can’t wait to go back and visit again!

This has been our first trip since the summer of 2019 because of Covid and it did not disappoint!! The pictures on the website are great but I was blown away when I saw the property in person! The house is so beautiful! With three levels, there was PLENTY of room for my family. The rooms, beds, and bathrooms were very clean. The view of the river from the house is gorgeous. The property and access to the river is stunning! I was worried that the water was going to be really deep all the way across but luckily it starts off shallow and gradually deepens the further you go into the river. This was a plus for me because I have young children. There are boats and jet skis that go by from time to time but they were considerate to slow down while we were floating and they always waved hello. The neighbors are absolutely wonderful and friendly. The property owners were a delight and so polite! Michelle was great at returning messages when I needed to communicate with her. She and her husband are extremely kind people and I really look forward to staying at their beautiful home again next summer!

A group of us visited "The Happy Place" for my husbands birthday. There was more than enough room for sleeping.
We enjoyed the yard and patio, and of course the river. We brought tubes and floated the day away! Before we left, we were already talking about coming back. Highly recommend. Also, it's about 10 minutes to Bucee's!

Found this river front home at the last minute for the Memorial Day weekend. Outstanding amount of space for a large group. Chris and Michelle were fantastic and helpful at every turn. I will not hesitate to book the property again...book the River Haus, you will not be disappointed!
