Very much enjoyed our stay. There were 6 of us and each were able to have their own bedroom. Anything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. The location was very well situated for our day at Arrowhead and the other areas we chose to visit while in KC. Will definitely stay here again when we visit next year.

We had a much needed amazing experience. The house is beautiful and if you pay close attention, it has a story. We had a wonderful weekend and while the location is a bit shady, it was very accessible to many attractions.

Our son got married on Dec. 3. The groom and groomsmen had a celebration on Sat before the wedding and met up with the brides party on Sunday for the Chiefs game. It was a perfect location for meeting up Togo to and from the game.

The property was as described, all in good order and easy to check in as well as communicate with the owner who was quick to respond. No issues. There was not a shortage of towels and linens, the rooms with ceiling fans were definitely a favorite, the front porch was a big hit as well. 8 adults could sleep comfortably, along with other options available depending on sleeping preferences- kids would be very happy with their options too. We all loved the high ceilings, hard wood floors, awesome wood doors, big table for meals and overall ambience of the house. The bus stop was a quick walk to connect with the tram line.

Used this as a "10 guys getting away for a bachelor weekend". House was impressive to 10 guys at between the ages of 25-30 so that's saying something! Plenty of space so they were not tripping over each other. They loved the location being close to Power and Light as well as the stadiums. Highly recommend this property!

House was nice big and perfect for our needs. Location is close to all main attractions (10-15min) drive. Most of our drivers were shocked at the neighborhood where it is. Not the safest area apparently. But besides minor noise from area barely saw anyone.

Clean, plenty of room & nice backyard everything needed to spend time at house! Ac has a hard time keeping this big house cool! Wish it would have had a ceiling fan in all bed rooms. Enjoyed the house.

Just plain average
Everything about this property is just average. The front porch area is fine to gather on, just bring your own chairs. 2 of the 3 plastic chairs are broken and the others are FILTHY. Everything works as it should, but. Nothing stands about. The front yard is 90% dirt, but it’s fine for games. The back yard is the same, but again, bring your own chairs. The decor is all over the place, but it works I guess.

Excellent property. Very close to Power and Light District. Owner was excellent to work with and provided detailed instructions on our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Historic and beautiful home with all the amenities you will need for a great stay in KCMO.

Beautiful home with six bedrooms
We were a group of five individuals that wanted out own bedrooms ... this home fit our needs. the home is well decorated and has a very accomodating kitchen. We used the the many gathering spaces: the living room, dining room, library/TV room and front porch continuely throughout our stay.

Great location near downtown, large house with plenty of space, only real complaint was the TVs. Some weren’t plugged in, hard to figure out. Bunk room tv had no light except 1 bulb and the tv wasn’t functional, which was the kids’ room. Otherwise great place! Kitchen was stocked.

Absolutely perfect!!
This home fit our family's need to the T. We had 7 adults and 2 children in our group, and everyone had their own bed. Everything we needed and everything the owner said was included, was there as described. The quarter sawn oak flooring on the first floor was beautiful and everything was very comfortable. HUGE house meticulously maintained
This was a terrific place for my three buddies and I to stay while on a baseball trip to KC. The neighborhood is in the midst of gentrifying so there are some rough spots here and there but nothing to worry about. There are a few places to eat within walking distance but not a lot. The neighborhood is also a food desert; you have to drive a few miles to get to a supermarket with a wide variety.
The house itself is very nicely renovated and very clean. There were only four of us so we didn't use the two bedrooms on the top floor, but we did use the bathroom up there. Should you wish to sleep up there be aware that it is about 5-10 degrees warmer so crank the A/C if you use those bedrooms! The bedrooms we did use were all on the second floor. Each was a very nice size and quite comfortable. The owners really like decorative pillows and other froo-froo items; there's a lot going on visually throughout the home. Ample towels were supplied and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. The front porch was a great place to relax as the sun set.
Overall this is a terrific property that is very well cared for. The owners were very easy to reach when we had a small issue with one of the smoke alarms chirping due to a dead battery. In all we are thrilled to have chosen this property and loved our stay there!

Four guys in KC for baseball games and KC experience
Property was outstanding. Owner was very helpful, went out of her way to make the stay as perfect as she could. House is older but remodeling is complete and very comfortable with many personal touches to warm up the stay. Close to downtown (LYFT) for transformation. Lots of room and this property has everything we needed. Everyone agreed: great find for our trip!

The house was beautiful and roomy -- the neighborhood not so much. The house was clean and comfortable. We had 7 in our party and we all had plenty of space. Here are a few suggestions that would have been helpful to us: the kitchen needs some baking sheets, cooking utensils, foil and plastic wrap. We brought in food to cook and those were items that would have been helpful. Also, the decorations everywhere were cute but there is just too much stuff. We had to move a lot of knickknacks and decorations to make room for our things -- on the coffee tables, dining room table, dressers in bedrooms and in the bathrooms. Every surface was covered leaving little room for us to use without moving things. We left the house just as we found it but felt it shouldn't be the guests responsibility to pull sheets off beds, etc. Taking out the trash is ok but that should be the minimum requirement for guests to have to do. We are paying the owner to do that. Also, it was kind of creepy knowing there were cameras watching us. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful home. Thank you.

Great space
We had a group of 10 people in the house. The house had everything we needed including enough towels, washcloths, soap, detergent, coffee, filters, hairdryers and all of the extra things you need to know if you need to bring along. It was a beautiful vintage space with room to congregate in the dining, family or living room. There is a basic store to pick up refreshments a block away and Gates BBQ is also a block away as well as a Mexican restaurant. Most points of interest are 2-3 miles away. Uber easily finds the house in a timely manner in under 10 minutes. Great space for a large group with several games and lots of books provided for your enjoyment.

Retreat-like
What a blessing! My friends and I chose this beautiful home for our gathering this year. We could not have been more satisfied. The comfortable and inviting feeling this home provides is evident the moment you walk into the front door. So many cozy rooms to curl up on sofas and catchup with old friends or just to be alone for some time of retreat. In the evening we enjoyed just sitting on the huge wrap-around porch, talking and watching the sun go down.... reminding me of a time before we all got so busy and “plugged-in”. My friends and I are looking forward to our next years retreat and we all agree we must come back to the Park House!

Great House!
We loved the house! It’s a beautiful old restored house that I wish I could transplant on my property. There are lots of rooms and it was great to be able to stay with the whole family. The neighborhood wasn’t the best. There were a few nights of fireworks and gunshots. We felt very safe in the house just a bit uneasy outside. The third floor of the house was very hot. It was great being close to the downtown area! Overall I loved the house but would have liked to know more about the neighborhood.
