We absolutely loved our week in this home. The location is perfect, quiet yet minutes to everything we wanted to do. The house is spacious, cozy, organized and clean. The layout was perfect for our family and the decor is beautiful and inviting. It was such a relaxing environment to wake up in and come back to each day. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the cozy blankets everywhere was such a plus! We walked to the beach almost daily and loved seeing deer along the way. We enjoyed cooking meals in the spacious kitchen and there was everything we needed and more to do so. We loved the big beach wagon and the assortment of beach toys and games. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! We will definitely be back!

I misunderstood and thought we were closer to the beach, but the house was gorgeous and the neighborhood was perfect. The home had every convenience. The bedrooms were large and well appointed. Lots of pillows, blankets etc. bathrooms were large and had all of the amenities you could want. Downstairs was large and very comfortable. The bottle of wine was much appreciated and delicious.
Our stay was excellent. Thank you for making it so easy and wonderful.

My husband and I along with our three children (ages 5, 8, and 9) absolutely adored this beautiful house. It was the perfect setup for our family with the den downstairs and two adjoining bedrooms and a bathroom - this was the kids' hang-out area and they loved it. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could need. The views were beautiful and it was great to go out onto the deck(s) in the morning to hear the birds chirping. The short walk to Hidden Beach was fantastic; we hope to return again soon!

Our group of two families (4 adults and 4 children/teenagers) travelled from Sweden and spent five nights here. It provided a truly relaxing basecamp for our daily excursions and each day we were looking forward to getting back "home". Our overall impression is that the hosts really cared about making us feel like guests in their home. A very comfortable stay and all-in-all just a great experience, thank you!

My family (adults and teens) had a wonderful stay here. Aside from being clean and tidy and well-stocked, there were so many thoughtful little touches and details such as nightlights everywhere. The short walk to the beach is lovely, and the backyard views are so serene. Our teens loved having there own floor to hang out, too. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at this property! We were blown away by the cleanliness and attention to detail that the owners made to keep this house feeling warm and homey, not like the typical rental home that could sometimes feel bare. This was quite the opposite! The kitchen is more than fully stocked. It was so easy to make a meal, and we made an entire thanksgiving dinner there and we had no issues. Having two living areas was amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It really made a big difference in how comfortable we all were. We traveled with a wide range of ages - 2 years to 75 years old, and it fit everyone perfectly. The owners are the most lovely people ever!!! We had some extra needs during our stay, and I just can’t express how appreciative we were in how they were able to accommodate us. Really wonderful people. The location is a perfect distance to have a nice 15 min stroll to the beach or a quick 5 min drive. And the street the house is on is very lovely and well maintained. Very cute area! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay around here. You will not be disappointed.

We are Santa Cruz natives and after 15 years away we came back to share our hometown with our kids...this beautiful home was the perfect home base. The house was impeccable and every detail was thought of from pantry items to beach equipment ...you will want for nothing! The back yard was so serene and full of wildlife we saw deer every day and even had a sweet coyote visit one morning(they even supplied binoculars to watch the animals) the owners were very helpfull and kind...we will definitely be back

Our entire group couldn't get over how well maintained this home was for a Vacation Rental. Anything we needed or wanted was available. It proved to be perfect accommodations for our group of 6. The only complaint we have is that the driveway proved to be very steep for our hybrid rental van, but that's hardly worth saying! All in all, we would recommend this beautiful home to anyone. A true gem!

We would give this home six stars if we could. The home itself has been beautifully renovated by someone with great taste. The bathrooms and kitchen are gorgeous. The home is also very large, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, and private. The top level of the two-story porch is literally among the trees; you can have your breakfast or look at the stars only feet away from hummingbirds and woodpeckers, and there are owls at night. It is also a short walk past a playground to the beach. We were also able to make reasonable drives to Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Palo Alto, San Jose, San Francisco, and Sausalito. One final note — the house is incredibly well stocked, every supply, beach item, and condiment you can think of. As just one example, there is an expensive pair of field binoculars to use if you enjoy bird or whale watching.

We used this beautiful home as home base for the Mother of the Bride and a couple of her friends. It is a beautiful house, very well appointed with everything you would need. Even better than what the pictures show. The furniture and furnishings are very high end and the overall feel is spa-like. Perfect for the MOB! We will return!

There were three couples in our group and the house could not have been more perfect. It was a nice walk to the beach and very nice neighborhood. The inside was modern, clean and well stocked. We had a lovely long weekend and want to come back again soon!

This home was perfect for our family getaway! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with larger families in mind. Felt private and secluded with the back windows overlooking part of the golf course. Tasteful decorated with upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. Highly recommend!!

The house was as beautiful inside as the pictures. Waking up to views of the trees is peaceful. And an easy, fun hike to the beach for amazing sunsets.
Extremely well appointed... any kitchen item you could possibly need and more, as well as soft/luxurious blankets that were cozy and made us feel at home. Great owner communication and easy access.
Everyone loved it and would definitely stay again when back to Aptos. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying in this house in winter. It’s such a lovely, spacious and comfortable home. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The neighborhood is beautiful, and location to beach and hiking perfect. Hosts are helpful and gracious. We hope to come back!

The property is fabulous with plenty of room. The gathering spaces were roomy enough that everyone could be together and socialize and bedrooms and bathrooms set up so that we all had the privacy we needed as well.

A true getaway....we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Detailed attention to providing a lovely holiday experience for all. Such a beautiful home, fully equipped, lots of information about the neighborhood, activities, restaurants, etc. We absolutely loved sitting on the back porch watching the local wildlife wander through. The beach was just a hop and a skip away. Had an opportunity to explore Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Elkhorn Slough is surprisingly close and kayaking was awesome. Highly Recommend. Thank you!

We loved staying at this wonderfully designed and furnished home in the hills of Aptos. Lisa was a great host and was very attentive to all our needs. The house has everything you could need and doesn't feel like a rental property at all, it feels like home. Our kids (4 and 1) loved it and everyone had plenty of space. The daily wildlife viewing from the back porch was wonderful. A quick walk down the hill took us to a beautiful and uncrowded beach. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return one day as well!

Beautiful, unique space
Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. The views from the upper floor feel like you’re in a tree house. Lots of great dining and hiking nearby and Hidden Beach is beautiful and spacious. Our kids loved the playground on our walks to the ocean.

We had a great spring break at Lisa and Rudy's lovely house in Aptos. We wanted a quiet and comfortable place close to (but not on) the beach. We are pleasantly surprised by how nice the neighborhood is. There are more than plenty of room for the four of us: all bedrooms are spacious, the upstairs and downstairs living rooms are both nice and cozy, and the kitchen is well supplied (more than many Vrbo houses we stayed in the past). Everything is clean and looks very elegant.
Lisa was very nice and gave us a bottle of wine as welcoming present. She was very responive and replied to my texts promptly.
We hope to be back in the future.

We celebrated my sisters 60th Birthday, three couples! The house was exceptional, it had all we needed and more. Great large bathrooms, plenty of space to socialize and hang out! We so loved our 3 night stay in Aptos. Lisa and Rudi were fantastic hosts. Great communication. Beautiful home - clean and well appointed. Nicests VRBO kitchen with so many amenities. There was a huge welcome book with notes about the house and places to eat in the area and things to do. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We celebrated my sisters 60th Birthday, three couples! The house was exceptional, it had all we needed and more. Great large bathrooms, plenty of space to socialize and hang out!
