Hot water was inconsistent. Refrigerator had no interior light, as well didn’t cool for several hours but came back to normal

I was pleasantly surprised that the house is closer to the beach than I thought it would be. The house was clean, and everything was in working order. Parking is a bit tight, but we were able to fit one large SUV, one mid-size SUV, and one car into the driveway. The only downside to this house is that the outdoor trash cans were smelly. The other houses on the street also had smelly trash cans. This makes the quick walk to the beach just slightly unpleasant. I would recommend better mattresses for the beds. Overall, the house is an excellent place to stay, and we would stay again.

We arrived and found the property had not been cleaned. There was even poop on a bathroom rug and one bedroom had a strong urine smell. The property manager apologized and said no one had been scheduled to clean. He found someone and they arrived around 7 pm and were still cleaning at 10:30 pm when we allowed them to leave because it was so late. Two of the bedrooms still had comforters that were washed but not dried yet so those bedrooms had to sleep with only sheets. We were promised a refund for two nights of our stay but have not received it and I have texted and sent messages on the VRBO app and have not received any responses.

Overall good with some bumps. Great location, great communication with owner. We had some issues with house, needed some attention before new guests check in. Blinds were broken on front door, dryer didn’t work until fixed on the 4th day, had to dry clothes on balcony. There was a hole in wall leading up to main area. The last night AC unit started leaking through ceiling in main area, we never tried to lower temperature and left it set at 72 degrees. Overall nice house and good communication with owner but for future renters all needs to be checked before new renters arrive. I understand there is wear and tear but just trying to be honest with this review as these are the reviews I depend on when booking . Thank you

We loved this house. Planning on going there again next year. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved the decks on all 3 floors.
Loved use of the pool. All in all this is a great vacation home. Wish there had been a vacuum cleaner. Had a broom but really needed a vacuum and a mop.

The beach was so close and easy to get to. The pool amenities were great. The house was spacious and everyone in our group felt like they had their own space. Loved that each room had their own bathroom. Overall, perfect house for our trip!

This property was perfect for us! We had plenty of room with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from infant to teenager. Easy access to the beach through the neighboring resort. This was a nice feature for pool access! Great location to restaurants and shopping, too! Parking was a little tight with 3 large vehicles, but I think the descriptions says compact cars. We made it work though! Thank you for a great week!

The house was really nice and comfortable,we had plenty of room and the decks on all floors was great for relaxing.The beach access were across the street at the resort walking distance.we ate at Surf Hut which is walking distance in other words the house is in a great location

We loved the property! It worked well for our group and we felt right at home. The property was clean and spacious and the location was great! We really enjoyed having access to the beach and the pool.
I give this property a 5-star rating. The only complaint that we have is there was an issue with the dryer. The host was fantastic!

Nice property with convenient beach access, nice amenities. Only issue was WiFi didn’t work well and therefore the TV would sometimes not work as it was a Roku device that needs internet.

We enjoyed our stay so much - having 3 floors with bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone to spread out. The decks and patios on both sides encouraged us to sit outside. The wrap around kitchen bar in addition to do much dining table seating was really helpful for eat in meals. Having a microwave on every floor is convenient too. Being associated with the condos next door was an added bonus - free dvds, hot tub, heated pool and regular pool, all resort sized, plus two entrances to the beach. Excellent proximity to dining and activities. We will be back.

Nice clean house with short walk to beach. Would stay again. Only recommendation would be to add a propane or charcoal grill for cooking outside for large groups.

Our group consisted of three families. We had all age ranges staying in the house. It was a short walk to the pools and a short set of stairs down to the most amazing beaches. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed. Each bedroom was large and the three king beds were a huge plus. The house had enough room for everyone to have some privacy and the middle floor allowed for gathering and family time. The living room was even larger than it appeared in the photos. Sean was amazing and so quick to respond with any questions and needs we had. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone who was needing the space and easy access to all the area has to offer.

We have stayed at this house multiple times and love the location and the amenities at the Crescent. The beach is beautiful and close. Sean is wonderful to work with and does a great job communicating. Thankful for another great vacation.

Perfect location
Sean was a superb communicator. I booked over a year in advance and he communicated over that year period. The house was great for my family including two infants, two toddlers, a preteen, and six adults. Winn Dixie is within walking distance and What a Burger and Chick Filet are within walking distance as long S it is not 98 degrees. The. Crescent pool is beautiful and the beach. One difficult thing is access to the beach. Many stairs prevent the effective use of a wagon or beach cart. Plan on many trips if you bring your own chairs and umbrellas. The beauty of the area makes all the effort worthwhile! I would love to return when the kids get a bit older. Thanks Sean!!

Beautiful home great location but this is not a home for anyone with leg or knee issues. There are several flights of stairs and the main living area and kitchen are on the second floor.

This Place Is PERFECT!
We were in Destin for a karate tournament with multiple families. This property was perfect! The home itself was gorgeous and tastefully decorated. There was more than enough room for adults to relax and for the kids/teens to not feel like the adults were invading their space.
Prior reviews talk about everything being close, but I didn't expect everything to literally be close enough to walk to! So that made for a nice surprise. The use of the adjacent resort pool and beach was wonderful!
This really is an ideal place to stay, and I hope to find it available when we return for the next competition in November!

Great family beach trip!
House is large, great layout for our two families with variety age kids. Balconies or porches on every level. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking with high quality items. So nice not to have to cross the main road to get to beach; beach chair / umbrella rental service was great so we could comfortably spend all day there. Kids enjoyed the two pools, and we used resort hot tub most nights. Would stay again!

Great Location; lacking some basics
Overall a very good stay. The location is great with the beach just a 4 min walk and 2 min walk to large pools and hot tub. Walk to grocery and restaurants too. House itself was clean. Plenty of space for 2 families.
It lacked a few basics you’d hope for at this price point - soap, shampoo, toilet paper…. Not to mention no reserved chairs at beach. Also there was no way to control main room tv volume with a remote - a minor annoyance.
Construction was going on at the resort next door (where the pool and hot tub are located) which prevented direct beach access and we had to always walk through the lobby and constantly asked to show our wristbands…. Another minor annoyance.
But we would definitely stay again and make sure to bring desired items. Thank you for a great week.

Had family meet for a spring break vacation. Location is ideal, close restaurants and shopping. Beach access and the available pool facilities are easy to navigate and use. Would recommend.

Overall very pleased with the property.
For our family the on suite bedroom/ bathrooms were perfect. Kitchen had enough cooking essentials. Private beach was very convenient.
