Si está buscando la base perfecta para conquistar las montañas Cumbrian con su familia, no busque más que Skiddaw View. Primer piso: sala / comedor / cocina. 1 habitación doble. Baño con bañera, cabina de ducha y WC. Segundo piso: 2 habitaciones dobles, una con baño en suite y aseo. Calefacción central de gas, gas, electricidad, ropa de cama y toallas incluidas. Cabaña de viaje. TDT TV. DVD. DISCOS COMPACTOS. Cocina de gas. Microonda. Lavadora. Lavavajillas. Congelador. Estacionamiento en carretera; permiso de estacionamiento disponible para aparcamientos cercanos. No Fumar.. Magníficas vistas. Con una ubicación ideal en el corazón de una de las ciudades más populares del Distrito de los Lagos, Skiddaw View proporciona la base ideal desde la cual explorar Keswick y los lagos y caídas de los alrededores. Skiddaw View se ha redecorado por completo en abril de 2018 con nuevas cortinas y algunos muebles, ropa de cama, sábanas y toallas nuevas y con hermosas obras de arte en las paredes de hermosas escenas locales. Extendiéndose sobre el primer y segundo piso, con magníficas vistas desde las habitaciones del segundo piso, este apartamento familiar es un refugio para caminantes y entusiastas del aire libre.
Keswick cuenta con una mezcla única de salones de té, restaurantes y bares, así como una selección de tiendas de regalos y boutiques. También hay algunos museos si está buscando alimentar su curiosidad. ¿Alguna vez te has preguntado dónde se inspiraron poetas como Wordsworth y Coleridge? Bueno, ven y compruébalo por ti mismo! Quizás un paseo tranquilo por el Paso Whinlatter despertará a tu poeta interno. We had a lovely stay.
We had a lovely stay. Flat was really warm but not too hot, had all the necessary basic amenities and is in a great central location. Parking is a bit of a walk away bit that's manageable. One major downside: no wifi.

A perfect property for us. We were a group of 4 adults that visited for a winter walking trip.
We know Keswick well and the property is in a perfect location, a short wander to the shops and more importantly the pubs!
The car park is also only a 2 minute wander away.
We found the agent for the keys easily, there were no fussy introductions or rules scripts. Just a polite “hello” and the keys and parking permit were handed over.
The property was very clean and had everything we needed. However WiFi would be a great addition as some of the group had hoped to use mapping apps to plan walks that needed internet access to do so.
The property was very well heated however the visitor book advises against using both showers simultaneously, I am a heating engineer so am fully aware that a standard combination boiler will not supply 2 showers at the same time! Perhaps an electric shower in the upstairs bathroom would be a good idea? A minor grumble.
We will almost certainly use Skiddaw view again as it was all but perfect for our needs.

The external entrance / walkway to the flat leaves a lot to be desired.
The external entrance / walkway to the flat leaves a lot to be desired. I would suggest more safety / security lighting and a lick of paint especially on the metal door. The shower in the en-suite is of no use whatsoever and the main shower is excellent. The pillows on the beds were very hard indeed and a softer pillow would have been much appreciated. Everything else about the accommodation was excellent.

A lovely place to stay if you're after somewhere in town with good access to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Fairly quiet on a night considering it was in the middle of town. Good size rooms and a clean modern feel. Summer weight duvets would be good as it was quite warm in the bedrooms. This was good accommodation for our needs.
