Great communication and information from the management company. Beautiful place nestled in the woods right by the stream. Nice gated area. Hot tub is amazing. Great home, great space.

Well, its a good thing I pack for all occasions. we had some crazy rainstorm and a tree fell just before the street the home is on so we arrived in a blackout. That being said the after-hours management was very accommodating and helpful and communicative which was very appreciated. Even with all the loveliness of the first night, we had an amazing time! The house is beautiful. The Sandy river was raging because of the storm which I loved. And my favorite part was the cat! There is a Bengal cat that is obviously well taken care of because he is very healthy so he must live nearby. As we were hanging out in the kitchen in the dark with the back door open this cat just walks right in and scared the living **** out of my sisters which made me love it that much more. But he (assuming gender) was a very nice cat that kept coming back all weekend long. All in all this was the retreat we needed to reconnect and unplug! Check-in and out was very easy. the beds are great, the washer and dryer are a huge plus, and the 3 bathrooms were fantastic. One thing don't be surprised you do have neighbors very close, which I thought via the listing it was more secluded but it wasn't a let down.

The outside porch which runs around the entire perimeter of the house was very dirty. I took pictures but I see there is no place to up load them. The deck was covered in dust, on the floor, all the chairs, storage boxes and the large black trash and recycle bins. Down by the river the chairs were worse. Since we hadn't planned on doing cleaning during our vacation we used towels to cover the chairs so we could enjoy the outside, which is beautiful. I spoke to management 4 different times about the outside and they just made excuses such as the dirt road being the culprit.
Spider webs everywhere,dead bugs littering back door.1/2 hr. worth of attention with a broom would have done the trick. Door keys are a total challenge, again an easy fix. Old towels, discolored and stiff. Too bad because inside is nice with everything you need. We just felt insulted that they would rent to us without making the place look pristine, inside and out.

Having the river to swim in on a hot day after summer skiing is fantastic. Also, the cabin is unique and really fun to stay in. I would say though its annoying to have to pick up a key from the office, this needs to be updated like other AirBNB type locations. Also, I would say this is more of a 4 person cabin as the pull out beds really are uncomfortable.

VRBO is so much better!We stayed at this beautiful home in April'21 and had no complaints. It is well stocked, clean, located right on the river, and has a hot tub. What more could you need? My only qualm is that the photos don't show how close you are to the neighbors. That proximity was a little tighter than I would've liked. Other than that, it's a great home, and we would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: I booked this home on VRBO because it was listed as only being 13 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort. I would be snowboarding all weekend so being as close to Meadows as possible was important to me. I was sorely disappointed when I received the address of the rental and saw that it was actually 23 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows! When I arrived to the house everything appeared very cute, comfy, and clean. The only other complaint I have about the rental is that the upstairs master bathroom was not stocked with soap and the toilet made a horrible screeching noise every time you flushed it. Other than that, my stay was great and the hot tub made for a nice place to relax after a day of snowboarding.

Just an hour's drive from Portland, it felt like a true getaway, with the river flowing out front, nice hot tub, wrap around porch and more. It was clean, comfortable and easy driving distance to a myriad of trail heads and of course nearby ski resorts. Pamela was wonderful, from helping us secure our reservation to offering advice and answering all questions with the highest level of professionalism and customer service. We would definitely come back!

I was worried because there were no clear pictures of the river and the proximity was important to me. Though the river wasn't as large as other riverfront homes I've rented, I could hear it from the house and it had a nice riverfront fire pit so I was more than happy. The only slight disappointment was that I am a previous client of this agency and they didn't tell me until after I paid that they offer a discount to returning guests, yet didn't offer it to me.

This was a spotless little cabin on the river in a gated community. It was staged beautifully for our arrival. It is listed as a 3 bedroom but only has two. One has a cute little loft that the kids loved. The beds were very wobbly and the mattresses were not comfortable. It has a great hot tub, wraparound porch, and bonus fire pit. Not a ton of utensils for cooking, so definitively check before you start your meal prep to make sure they have what you need. Make sure to visit Mt. Hood Coffee Roasters just down the road. Enjoying a cup of their coffee while relaxing and listening to the river was awesome!
