Very much enjoyed our stay! Awesome back yard/pool area. Great way to spend the day after visiting the ballpark-and on the days we did not go to games. Great backyard view to watch the sunsets/quiet neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed (very nice update) since we did most meals at the house. Great location!

This home is absolutely lovely! We had zero issues and loved every minute of our stay. The home is well stocked and well laid out with comfortable furniture and plenty of seating. We were able to enjoy the outdoor everyday even though it’s winter months. Coming from a much colder location the mid 60 degree temps were perfect for sunning out by the pool. And the cool evenings made the hot tub a dream. We watched a couple rabbits scurry through the yard and even had a friendly road runner stop by for a visit. The private nature preserve behind the homes added to the ambiance of an amazing desert retreat and the homeowners Lee & Grace were very responsive. We VRBO vacation 3 or 4 times a year and I can honestly say this home was one of the best we’ve stayed in the last 10 years.

Property is located in quiet community with beautiful decor. Outside area is pleasant with gazebo pool with waterfall and spa. Beds are comfortable and newly decorated kitchen is a wonderful addition.

This was our second time at this great property; we stayed for the first time in October of 2020. We were greeted to the same clean, well-kept, spacious home as before - but with a truly great upgrade in the kitchen! The extra cabinet space and new stove/oven were a fantastic addition, and the remodel definitely “spruces up” the place in a noticeable way.
We stayed for two weeks this trip, and got in the pool every day for a few hours to read and relax. There were a couple small issues with the pool (as can happen at anytime with a complicated mechanical setup), but the owner and management folks were very responsive and helpful. The owner, Lee, even got on the phone with various pool folks and then called us to walk us through a “fix” for an issue so we didn’t have to wait more than 24 hours for the pool company to send someone out! The pool itself is amazing - we especially enjoy the waterfall feature, as it makes the whole experience feel like being at an oasis.
We truly loved our time here, and recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful, private stay. We hope to return soon!

This is our second stay at Lee's home and we have already booked our 3rd. We were able to spend most our time in beautiful backyard on this adventure. From the spa to the pergola and the pool to the patio furniture, it's like your own private little resort. The home has everything thing to make your stay feel like a home away from home! We look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I, our son, his wife and children 4 and 2 stayed at the house for spring training. It was perfect for us. House and furniture were such that we were constantly worried about the kids damaging something. The pool was great. Lovely parks in the area. We'd stay again.

Had a great time. Kitchen well stocked. Purchased grapefruit and oranges at u pick. We were able to juice some and enjoy. Great appliance at the home. Plenty of dishes and pans to make all our meals at the house. Plenty of room for our family to enjoy the house. Pool area very nice and kids enjoyed hours of swimming and playing. Thank you so much Lee and Grace for opening your home to our family to create memories with our children. We would stay again.

We totally enjoyed our stay in this backyard paradise. The hot tub and pool with waterfall were so luxurious and relaxing. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with a coffee bar and updated appliances. The owners were very responsive and helpful! This place is a winner!

We had a wonderful stay! Not only is the property wonderful, but Lee the owner is a great communicator, plus quick to respond which helped make our stay great. It was just the two of us, but the layout of the home would be great for a family or 2 couples. Two bedrooms with a bath are at the front of the home and the primary suite is in the rear. The brand new kitchen is beautiful and offers everything you need to eat inside or out. The backyard is perfect! From the pool and spa, to the loungers and pergola we enjoyed it greatly. We were in AZ during a chilly week, so the only thing that would make it even better would be an outdoor heater. The location of this property is in a small resort-style community. We mountain biked and hiked every day as access is less than a block away. We have already booked our next stay!

The property is undergoing kitchen renovation, which was still accessible/ useable , but the walking pathway from the door through the kitchen was covered with cardboard protector plastered onto the floor.. Overall , our stay was ok but should have renovation completed instead of renting out during the renovation, as the place feels dusty with all the artificial plants inside the house and thick dark drapes. The property has a lot of potentials but the outdated decor and dark upholstered furnitures are simply eye sore.. Semi finished kitchen was great with a bit of adventure trying to find the switch for the sink grinder - which did not have a “switch” to turn on & off but to plug in and plug out the electric cord underneath the sink . We took care of the house and kept it clean from start to the end. I think if renovation been completed and discarding those artificial plants, dark heavy drapes .. this would be a perfect place to stay while at west valley side of AZ .. the house is equipped with everything , including household supplies this was also a plus about this place ..

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Even though this place was under renovation the property owner accommodated us, thank you Lee! We like the fact that it is away from the hustle and bustle. It’s very quiet and if you like your privacy this is the place for you! It was only my husband and I but this place can accommodate a family or you and your friends. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful home away from home! Everything was clean and welcoming with great instructions for everything we needed. We loved the back yard with the pool & spa. It’s a little bit out of the way from Phoenix but the drive/surrounding area was worth it! We would definitely recommend and book for our next trip to Arizona!

This was a great place for our family getaway. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Goodyear. This place already had a portable bed for a little one. It had lots of things in the kitchen for us to use. The pool and patio area were great. The Estrella area was very nice. The only downside was cable tv did not have a great selection. It rained every night and my husband can only handle so much heat during the day so it was hard to find something on tv. There is an awesome game room but just too hot to enjoy in August. Highly recommend this place if you want to stay in the Goodyear area

My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 days and the property was great. Quiet neighborhood, but close enough to the city to go and do anything. Great views and close enough to make a day trip to Sedona for sightseeing!

Beautiful backyard!
We had a wonderful 7 days at this property. The backyard is where we spent 90% of our time while there. It was so private and beautiful. The home was well stocked with the items we needed. It was clean but a little out of date. The beds were comfortable, the sheets and bed covers need to be updated. Everything was in working condition and when we had questions the staff was very quick to respond and help us. The kitchen could you microwavable dishes has my friend burned her finger on a coffee cup after heating it in the microwave. The laundry facilities were great, nice big washer. We really appreciated this property and the nice neighborhood. It was a bit far from other things we wanted to see but it was nice and close to the grocery store. We would recommend this property to others!

The property was as presented in the listing. Owner was prompt and friendly when discussing the questions we had. The pool and back area was set up and designed very well. Sad because it is rented out for 2023
We felt very relaxed and Lee made us feel welcome to enjoy their home. It was awesome to use the pool on days when we had upper 80's for temps and the spa on cool mornings. The back yard is very beautifully landscaped . Anything that we needed Lee and Grace had it. Thanks again.

It was an okay stay.
Our stay was booked as a staycation, away from home - primarily booked for the enjoyment having a heated pool and hot tub in a warmer weather area. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub was not working (lights, fountains, heaters) for our entire stay. The house was clean, nice and seemed to be in a good area, but it had a lot of police activity at the neighbors during our stay in which police cars were ultimately placed in front of the house for a few days of our stay. All of these things seemed to just be an exception and "our timing" issue, but just in case... I'm including it in the review. The game room was great and an added extra bonus!

While the weather was colder than expected, the family enjoyed the heated pool and spa. The home was recently painted and had a fresh look.
On a downside, I tried reaching the property manager with an issue to no avail. However the issue resolved itself.

Relaxing getaway.
The house was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. We spent most of the day at the house relaxing with family. Initially we has some questions and we emailed to property manager. The response is immediate. However, they were not able be resolve the issues the pool and lighting. Overall we had a great time.

We were really disappointed that this rental did not live up to expectations after reading the description and reviews. I think the lack of upkeep at this property finally caught up during our stay. The check in/out was really easy and the host was nice enough to let us check in early. The inside of the house was very clean, the outside was not. The pool was dirty, ants, spiders and cobwebs everywhere. After removing a lot of the cobwebs, they returned within a few days, which is an easy fix and a service is probably due. The spa wouldn't heat and needed serviced. We paid for a "heating fee", yet the pool was not heated and we had to manually heat the spa when we wanted to use it. A lot of things in the house didn't work- dead batteries in all but two remotes, which we had to replace ourselves because the extras were also out, lightbulbs burned out. There were a number of other things throughout the property that were inconveniences that showed it is not really well cared for. Communication was not great. The person we were told to communicate with was out of the country, which I learned when I tried to contact them re: the spa. I communicated with the owner, who did respond to my messages but didn't follow through on getting the spa serviced during our 6 day stay. Overall it was not worth the amount of money we paid to stay here.

Great time in Estrella
We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was easy to get to from the airport and located perfectly for the Wedding and activities we attended.
The house is very comfortable and the pool area was great... we would definitely stay there again on our next trip to that area.

Property Damage / Cleanliness Issues
Before I even stepped into the property, I was directed to the front door by a darkened entry where there is an alcove that anyone could tuck themselves into. Not being familiar the area, or just a general rule of safety, a motion light would have been greatly appreciated. Upon entering, an immediate stale air hit us accented with the smell of dog/cat. I was aware that this property accepted pets but didn’t know I would be reminded of it with the odor. After surveying the rest of the property I was shocked to find wall & furniture damages, debris filled kitchen drawers, and obvious remnants of those that where there before us. I contacted the property manager who basically blamed the cleaning service. I doubt that the damages (including rusting flatware) are under the responsibility of the cleaning service. While the property served its purpose (ie- a roof overhead) I’d advise the owner/operator to take a good look around & wonder if they’d be proud or embarrassed if their family own stayed there.
