Easy access to a non crowded beach. Host is quickly responsive to any questions. My only recommendations would be to organize the closet with the beach gear. The gear ( chairs, umbrellas, canopies) are all broken or of poor quality. I would definitely stay again.

At first glance, we loved it. As we started to settle, we started noticing things were not very clean. None of the rugs were vacuumed, the oven was dirty and smelled of old grease and there were dead bugs under the tables in the living room. Also, we had issues with the refrigerators not keeping our food cold enough. We had to throw milk away because it spoiled due to this issue. I did message the host but he made it seem like it was our fault, as if we don’t know how to properly operate a refrigerator. I think the problem is that it’s old and needs to be upgraded. I will say the location to the pool and beach was great, super convenient; but, if you like to shop or go out to eat, it’s quite a little drive. For this reason, we probably wouldn’t stay out that way again.

We have a blended family with large age variation. We all had plenty of space to gather and disperse. The house was well stocked with no real deficiencies. The proximity to the beach and the pools was the best! We have zero complaints! Mike was extremely responsive! We will return!!!

Our family of 13 had the best time at Kat's Meow! The location and house were perfect!! We loved everything about this place! The pool and boardwalk to the beach were so close and the house had everything you need for enjoying the beach! The views from the two balconies were amazing! I can't say enough good things about our stay. No one in our group had one complaint and it is definitely our favorite place we have ever stayed. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!! Thanks to Mike and Kat for the amazing stay! We loved it!!

Such a great location!! Loved the view, loved the easy beach access, loved the pool, it was so fun! We go to the gulf shores every two years as a family vacation, and Ft. Morgan is awesome, to be away from the crowds and a beach that is not packed. We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely beautiful location right on the beach. House was huge and had plenty of room for our group of 15! Have been going on spring break on the Gulf Coast for 10 years and this was the best place we have ever stayed in!

We had 3 families stay and enjoyed our time! There were 6 adults and 5 teens. A beautiful home right on the gulf. Plenty of space for us. Hard for the last one to have a hot shower when we all showered at the same time. A Beautiful property and would definitely come back! Thank you to our hosts!

Had plenty of room for family. Great location with amenities. Overall clean but did have clothes items under two of the beds upon arrival. Trash pick up was suppose to be every other day but in 7 days only picked up once.

This property was set up well for an vacation with extended family. Lots of room to spread out and everyone had space. Lots to do at the resort for our teenagers. Great location and the sunsets from the porch were amazing!

The house was nice, lots of space for a large group. The deck and balconies were great. Amazing location and gorgeous views. Enjoyed using the resort facilities too. Disappointed with the cleanliness when we arrived, which we flagged to the owner so he could pick this up with the cleaning company.

Check in was easy. Location was fantastic! The proximity to the closest pool and entrance to the boardwalk, down to the beach, was perfect! We enjoyed many sunrises from the upper and lower balconies. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of some more touristy areas, but close enough to be convenient if you want to venture out. The house is bright, cheery, fully stocked, and well laid out. Having 2 full size fridges is really nice. Some of the furniture is well worn, but very comfy and would not deter a return visit. Shower in the master was wonderful and there was never an issue with having enough hot water. We loved having the gently used beach equipment available. There was no need chat with Mike during our stay, but all communication beforehand was easy, friendly and efficient. Our crew thoroughly enjoyed the stay! If you’re on the fence, just request the booking!

Great house with easy access to the beach and pool. Loved being off the beaten path, but still close enough to activities. The ferry ride to Dauphin Island was a blast and the aquarium and fort were fun for kids and adults alike. Lots of stuff to see and do nearby but secluded and peaceful. Our extended family of 12 felt right at home and the house even had extras like coffee, filters, salt and pepper etc to make the trip even more convenient. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect. The house was well maintained. We enjoyed the week we spent n this house. The only recommendation is to check possible improvement to internet and upgrade TV in family room. Otherwise a fantastic week at Fort Morgan. Thank you!!

There isn’t enough room to write a review that can truly explain how wonderful this property is. The owner was wonderfully communicative weeks before we even checked in. The house was just as described and left nothing to want. The layout really is fantastic and it’s stocked with all the odds and ends you need to get by. The location is by far the best part. It’s right on the beach so even when you’re not on it you are still there. It’s about 20 minutes from main gulf shores which is really ideal. Less people and more relaxing. We made the drive several times and after the first go it doesn’t even feel like 20 minutes. Some of our family took day trips to Ft. Morgan, the gardens, took the ferry, fairhope, etc. all of these places are nearby and add to the desirability of the location. I will say the beach supplies closet is a mess but that isn’t their fault. It’s clear guests are not respectful of the items and just chunk them around. As guests we really should do a better job of taking care of items there for us to use as a courtesy. Glad we brought our own sunshade, chairs, toys, beach caddies, etc. grills were great! We were able to park two suburban, a Durango and a Lexus gx60 with plenty of room.

The house was very roomy. We had 4 couples and 5 children age 1-7 years staying together. Each family could have a bathroom to theirselves. Everything was convenient from the available cooking items to the pool and beach just steps from the home. They have a closet of tons of kids beach toys, games, baby floats, tube floats. (don’t forget to look up in the net for items) balls, chairs(3 while we were there), kites (we left a few and there was some in closet already), charcoal for grills (would wait till you get there to buy at Dollar General down the road)and boogie boards. The cleaning lady did a great job! We never used the tvs because we loved to play games and sit out on the porches or go for walks on the beach. We had some amazing stormy weather, usually in the morning or during the night and then the sun came out for the rest of the day. Mike was so quick at getting back to any questions we had and just very helpful. Thank you for sharing your home. We love this place.

My husband and I took our daughter and 6 of her friends to the beach for their senior trip following their high school graduation. Three other parents joined the group, making it a party of 12. The Kat's Meow was the perfect beach house for all of us and it had everything we could possibly need right down to the pizza cutter! You can't beat the location - the house was right next to the pool and the boardwalk to the beach. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and Mike was the best host. He gave us great tips ahead of time and was available to answer any questions we had along the way.
We took the kids' pictures in their caps and gowns on the beach and made memories that will last a lifetime. The ocean views from the balconies were amazing. Thank you so much for the most incredible week at the Kat's Meow!

We have been going to the Gulf Shores area for over 20 years and this was one of our favorite places. The house and location is amazing. The house is stocked with everything you need. Perfect size for our group and so easy to tow the little kids down to the beach or pool. It was everything we needed. We even talked about coming back next year because it ticked so many boxes. The house is about 20 minutes from a grocery store or most restaurants so you might want to plan ahead and pick up some essentials as there aren’t many at the house. The owners do a good job though about making you aware of this.

We had tons of fun at the beach and the pool which I'm glad that the pool was right next to the house. We loved the view of the beach from the deck and the upper deck. Mike the property manager was very accessible if we needed anything and easy to work with. Hope to return soon. We also went out to the beach at night and we were looking for crabs and my 3 year old cousin when we saw one, he screamed like crazy because it had ran over his foot. It was hilarious 🤣

Myself and family had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. It was described accurately. Once we arrived, we were not too pleased with the housekeeping. Beds were not made, floors were still sandy and there was a bag of smelly clothes in a closet which we disposed of. We loved the kitchen cabinet space and the two refrigerators. Very, very convenient for a group of 10. Many, many games and outside beach/pool items were available which was super nice. Unfortunately, about half of the outside chairs were broken but we made it work. All in all. we all had a fantastic vacation. Thanks!

Our experience was wonderful! The house fit our needs perfectly for a family of 15. We loved the proximity to the beach and pool, and we enjoyed many evenings on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

This property was the perfect location! Right by the pool and beach walkway. It was in an area that was less crowded which was amazing. Mike was willing to help with anything and gave great recommendations for local places. Also the storage room had TONS of beach chairs and toys. I would definitely stay here again.
