As advertised…perfect size for a couple just getting away. Loved all the amenities including anything needed for the short walk to the beach!

The Cottage is definitely as advertised. The accommodations were cozy and just perfect for our party of two. Ryan and Amy were great hosts providing all kinds of information about the area, dining, and things to do. Bed was great, plenty of towels and all the things you need for the beach were provided. I think the best part was the location; we almost felt like we had the beach all to ourselves and if we wanted more entertainment it could be found just a mile down the road. Perfect beach trip!

The cottage was absolutely perfect, exceeded our expectations, so clean and everything you need is right there including the beach which truly is just steps away.
The only thing we would change is the length of our stay…we will definitely stay longer next time!

Had such a great stay! Had everything we needed and then some. As mentioned, mere steps to the beautiful beach. Could not be a better location! Such a quiet stay, ran into family staying at the house once while doing laundry but otherwise never would have known anyone was there. Will definitely stay here again and encouraging everyone considering to book it. You won’t regret it.

My wife and I rented out the cottage for one week for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time! The beach is just across the street from the property, so it's super easy to access, and there are also beach chairs and umbrellas available. The property is also located in a neighborhood a little ways north of all the hotels and resorts, so it's great if you prefer a less crowded beach. The trade off to that is most of the shops and restaurants are also a bit further away, so you'll probably need to either take a long walk or drive to get to them. Even so, it's a short drive, so it's not too bad. If you're traveling to Clearwater Beach for a couples' vacation and you want to distance yourself a bit from the crowded parts of the beach, it's an overall great place to stay!

This place was perfect for 2. Literally across street to beach, since residential area and no condos the beach was almost empty. It was awesome. We would stay here again.

Our stay was cut short by an emergency at home, but the one full day we had was perfect! We plan a redo since our trip had to abruptly end and we had to go back home. Excellent location, excellent property, excellent location, and now we know that all we need to pack are our clothes!

Just left this cottage after a four-night stay. I booked it because I was looking for quiet rest & relaxation and easy access to the beach, and that’s exactly what I got. (Though I did wind up in the busier part of Clearwater Beach at least once each day for a meal or drinks!) This property was clean and updated and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the charming little private patio outside the side door, too.

This was a wonderful place to end our trip in Florida. The cottage was sooo clean and just as pictured. We were not disappointed!! Having stayed in this same cottage several years ago, we found it just as nice and the updating a bonus. The only issue we had was the contact information in the welcome book seemed to be incorrect. We were not able to contact the owner with the information provided. Not sure if the book had not been updated.

My husband and I have visited Florida (Atlantic beaches and the Keys) many times but have never been to Clearwater Beach. We finally got around to a trip there and The Cottage was perfect for us in every way.
It is about a 30-minute drive from Tampa Airport, is literally steps from the beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood, and about a mile from restaurants and shops. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the patio and had drinks at night - no loud noise or parties - so relaxing.
The interior of the cottage was 10/10 clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for kids.
If you have concerns about this being on the same property as the bigger house - don't. There was a young family in the bigger house when we arrived, and a new family arrived right before we left. We happened to cross paths and said cordial hellos but never heard or saw them again. The properties are close to each other, but the owners have done a great job of keeping them very separate, so you feel like you are in your own little piece of paradise. We want to return to Clearwater and The Cottage!

Well appointed cottage near one of the most beautiful beaches and nature preserves in the world. Ideal access to north Clearwater beach and Caladesi Island. Except for shopping and fishing, did not want to leave the neighborhood. Florida at its best.

The Cottage is in a very quiet end of Clearwater Beach although only a short distance to the main town it is a world away and is just across the street from your nearly private beach compared to downtown. Cottage is well appointed, very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need.

My husband and I rented the cottage for a week. It was perfect for us! Great location just steps to the beach in a quiet neighborhood, but we were still able to walk to restaurants and shops. We barely used the car at all once we got there. The place was well-equipped with everything we needed from cooking utensils to beach chairs. The owners were always very responsive. I highly recommend!

We love this place. We love walking in the quiet neighborhood as well as the beach. this cute little efficiency cottage has everything The two of us need for a two week stay.
It was our second year and we will be back again. Next year. The kitchen is wonderfully furnished for us, and we cook most of our meals in the space, lots of great beach chairs and umbrellas and a lovely little patio to sit on . Ryan and Amy are extremely responsive and wonderful hosts!

We loved staying in the cottage, very clean and very well equipped, even a washing machine to share, the kitchen was also very well equipped. The small patio was great, with the chairs and umbrella. The beach was paradise and there were beach utensils provided (deck chairs, umbrellas, etc.) which was super practical. The guest information in the cottage recommends a place in 5min walking distance where you can watch an impressive sunrise, highly recommended.

The Cottage was perfect for my wife and me to celebrate her 40th. Very close to the beach. The beach was not crowded unlike down by the Pier. We were close enough to the shops, and restaurants, but far enough away to get away from the crowds. We would come again and highly recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway to enjoy a quiet beach.

Perfect cottage, spectacular beach!
We absolutely loved staying at your cottage. It was clean with a comfortable bed, sofa, table and well-equipped modern kitchen. The distance to the beach really is steps away and it’s one of most beautiful and private beaches in Florida, thanks to the lack of hotels and residential setting. The water was warm, crystal clear and the sand was powder. We live in Florida on the Atlantic side and loved playing in the green gulf water. The proximity to restaurants was perfect and we visited Dunedin and Tarpon Springs for sightseeing and dining. The wifi and other amenities like beach carts and chairs was also appreciated. And the shower was great - like the water pressure we have at home - and that’s unique. Thanks again for a great stay. We will be back!

Perfect Beach House for a Couple
This clean, compact unit is located in lovely, quiet north Clearwater beach. It is about as close as you can be to the beach without being in a pricey beach-facing property. This proximity and the pleasant courtyard make up for lack of a view. The kitchen is great. Even though there was construction going on next door, it seemed peaceful. The space is just fine for two people. Note that you get a relatively minimal supply of bedding and towels (compared to some other properties). Thus, if your stay is long and/or you do a lot of beach-going you will have to compete with the residents of the adjacent large house for washer/dryer time to keep you supplied in clean linens. Since the larger house may be occupied by a family, this can be slightly inconvenient but not a deal-breaker. We usually drive to FL and bring our own chairs, totes, beach towels, etc. This time we flew and so brought fewer accessories, but the house was adequately supplied.. Also note that unless you plan to explore the area beyond Clearwater and Dunedin, you really don't need a car and can make do with local transport options. My husband I would definitely rent here again if it's available!

Perfect beach vacation
We had a great experience; we rescheduled from '21 as the covid crud had curtailed a lot of the activities we usually enjoy enroute to FL (Bourbon tours, state parks).
We were so glad we came this year as the property is perfect for 2 empty nesters looking to thaw out from a Michigan winter. The kitchen is very well supplied with utensils and, while small (it is a studio cottage after all), was perfect for me girl friend and I to turn out great meals. The large gas grill was usefull, too.
We baked our standard cinnamon rolls and between the fish we caught off the beach and on the bay side plus the fresh snapper and scallops from Frenchy's (open 8a to 1p and an easy 2 1/2 mi walk round trip) we ate exceptionally well. A stocked kitchen is a HUGE plus for us.
The beach is close and was great for walking. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and back south to the business area every few days for a beer or ice cream...easy to make a 3-4mi walk and avoid most people by getting off the beach before the public area and meadering the side streets home.
If you fish, you have options between the beach and the Bay side as most east/west streets have public access on the bay side. You'll have quiet time from just before sunrise until about 9a and then an hour or so before sunset to as late as you like on the gulf side and sunsey on the Bay side.
Overall, a fantastic time. Jan is great with communication and Eva does a wonderful job maintaining the property.

Mini Oasis
We were in love with this cottage. It was perfect for us. We are a family of four, my fiancé, me, our 1 year old and our dog. With the baby being so young, it was convenient to be so close to the beach. Nap time was not an issue and we were able to pick up and be on the sand in minutes when he woke up. We are also all the way from Pittsburgh, PA, so the heat was definitely a shock to our systems. But the cottage was perfectly suited to our needs. We probably spent more time in it than outside. The shed was also full of all kinds of useful toys for our little one, he gets bored pretty quickly so it was nice to have new things readily available and not have to buy a bunch of new things.
The property was unbelievably clean when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The company really puts the time and effort in, that’s evident.
All in all, we truly enjoyed every moment at the cottage. We felt very much at home so far from our own home.

Quiet and Perfect
The cottage was perfect for enjoying the quiet side of Clearwater beach. Lots of beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas to use. Would recommend and definitely would stay there again.
