Unfortunately due to illness I missed my opportunity to stay. The hosts were gracious and incredibly understanding. I look forward to another chance to stay here in the future.

Perfect location for our stay in Interlochen while our son attended Interlochen music camp a mile away. The property was very clean and the owners have done a wonderful job furnishing the home. Check-in and check-out were simple, and everything we needed was provided and available. We would definitely stay here again!

Pictures don't do this house justice! Kudos to the cleaning crew...It's the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Updated appliances, comfortable beds, everything you could need, including a nice little backyard, perfect for a dog, with seating to enjoy the outdoors. Convenient to Traverse City and all the sites, without the TC expense! I'd stay here again. Thank for providing such a clean and comfortable house. Much better than the photos! :-)

I absolutely love this house! It is decorated so nicely, had everything we needed and I was so happy to have a fenced in yard for our pup with a nice deck for me to hang out on! I made many trips back and forth to the academy and the location is ideal! Will definitely try to stay again since I will be in the area so much over next two years!!

This cottage was a perfect blessing to our family as we were in town for a 2-day sports event in Traverse City. It was more spacious than expected. Our family of 6 moved around with ease. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There were enough seats for everyone in our family to be comfortable in the living room and dining room. It is within driving distance to many sights and attractions. It's a perfect getaway for an extended weekend.

We stayed at this home three nights. It was perfect for us - clean, cozy, right size house, comfy beds, fenced yard for our two dogs, and in a fine neighborhood. We slept soundly. And spent time in Traverse City, Frankfort, and up the Leelanau Penninsula during the day.

We had an amazing time at Mary’s place! Felt like home away from home. Every amenity you could think of and just a short drive to Traverse City. We also visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland and several vineyards in the area. Spotless, clean, comfortable beds and fenced in backyard, which was great for our dog. Restaurants and grocery store within less than a mile. We will definitely be returning! Total five star!

We loved our stay! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked, bed were comfortable, and it was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to places of interest for us. We hooe to visit again this coming fall. Thank you!

Instead of gifts at Christmas we spent family time making memories at this Perfect cottage. God blessed us with the real meaning of CHRISTmas. It was a magical cottage. Everything you can imagine and more. Added bonus our fur babies were welcome and they had a great time. WE WILL BE BACK.

We are here at least once a year. We could not be happier with this our accommodations. Immaculately clean, quiet, close to TC and surrounding areas. Walking distance to The Hofbrau. Plus, we can bring our dog. Mary is amazing to work with.

We'd stayed at this property while visiting Interlochen and touring northwest Michigan. The house is on a corner lot with a fenced back yard which was convenient. The check-process was easy and the host was responsive during our stay. The interior of the house was very clean. The house has 3 floor air conditioners but their water collectors have to be manually emptied. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location, except for an incident that happened the last night. At about 1:30 AM someone started banging on our front door. We had no idea who it was. It woke us up and un-nerved us to say the least. Beyond that the rest of our stay was fine and uneventful.

Stayed here for a wedding at Bluebridge Event Center. Cozy house with nice amenities located in good location.

This is our second year we've chosen this rental for our summer "up north" Michigan vacation because it's such a rare gem - very clean, no funny smells, well stocked, convenient to everything, and affordable! Some specific things we love: 1) all the linens and towels you could possibly need are provided in generous amounts, just remeber your own beach towels and you're all set 2) the kitchen is truly well stocked, there is enough of everything you need to rely cook and serve food, I wish all rentals did this as well as they do here 3) all the modern conveniences are here so you can focus on enjoying your trip - great air conditioning, a very good dish washer, a modern fridge with instant ice and filtered water, and a washer and drier. No need to waste time on laundromats, hand washing dishes, nor tossing and turning on hot nights with nothing but a fan. 4) so well stocked everywhere in the house - backup toilet paper yes, but also foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen, body wash and shampoo in the bathroom, laundry detergent in the laundry room, plenty of soap pods for the disheasher. All provided! It's just such a no-worries, cozy spot to stay so you can focus on enjoying all the magic that is within an hours drive in every direction. Oh, and private! No one coming over mid-week to mow the lawn, get things out of the garage, etc when you're trying to relax. Honestly our favorite VRBO ever. It's nothing fancy, it's just incredibly well done for what it is.

So nice to find a property that allows dogs! Location was perfect as it was close to other wedding guests who were staying around the corner and close to our venue, BlueBridge. Mary was very responsive to questions and flexible when we had to change who in our party was staying at the property. Highly recommend!

Nice place!

We came from Detroit to Traverse City to meet up with family and friends. The house was the perfect size and extremely clean. Even our dog "Max" was very comfortable and he has high anxiety. It was very close to friends and that made it very ease to meet with everyone. I would recommend Mary and Michael's home to anyone. I know we will be back!

We stayed here for a weekend of skiing at Crystal Mountain, and it was perfect for us. The house was clean and well appointed. The location was great - 25 mins to Crystal Mountain and 25 mins to Traverse City. We would love to stay again next time we come up to Michigan!
