The house was as pictured. It had everything we needed (I had a bit of trouble on a chilly morning with the living room fireplace.)The beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets and linens, no shortage of hot water. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The lake was clean and calm suitable for swimming.I kayaked everyday!

Overall, the property and location are perfect. The cottage lives up to the description, and I would say it actually exceeded my families expectation. You’re within seven or eight minutes of a few, very unique and delicious restaurants, you’re a 32nd walk to the water, and the neighbors and neighborhood were all wonderful.

We loved our stay at Dreamcatcher Cottage. It was close to Interlochen Center for the Arts. The home has plenty of space to spread out, relax and gather! We loved the beautiful flowers and charm. Great stay, would highly recommend!

My family was here for a Celebration of Life service for our brother and the Dreamcatcher was perfect! It's so unique and comfortable inside, and we enjoyed 2 nights of bonfires and beautiful views sharing stories and relaxing together. Our stay gave us all some needed family time in a beautiful property. The host was amazing, and the home was all we expected and more.

Our family gathered for a fun-filled week at the Dream Catcher Cottage. The fully stocked kitchen was great for family dinners, and the perfect backdrop for bonfires bonfires, and games. We enjoyed the Interlochen Farm Market, and a concert at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. . The location made it easy to enjoy biking, hiking, pickleball, and wine tasting in nearby Traverse City, Sutton Bay, Glen Arbor, Empire, and Frankfort. It was perfect for our group!

Property is nicely located across the road from Green Lake with a nice view of the lake and sunrises. House has been nicely remodeled / updated with all the conveniences for a relaxing stay. Comfortably accommodated five adults. Area is quiet and peaceful, great location to relax. Convenience to things in the area; Traverse City, Lake Michigan coast, etc., made for nice excursions.

This was a great getaway spot for my family while I completed some projects in TC for work. Plenty of room to spread out, place to play wiggle ball (park across the street), fast access to hiking, parks and trails. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Thoughtfully equipped cozy cottage. The boys, age 6 and 8, enjoyed playing in the loft, running and exploring the paths around the Green Lake, and roasting marshmallows around fire ring.
Kitchen has well-working vintage appliances, plenty of seating around a table along with extra table seating for games, writing or working.
Little town of Interlochan has a nice larger grocery store.
We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, which was tremendously enjoyable for us all, ages 6 to 66.

Our stay at the Dream Catcher was perfect for our group of six. Plenty of space with a amazing porch to relax on in the evenings after a busy day. The Cottage was very clean and neat with a fully stocked kitchen. The cottage had lake access and the fishing was great.

We loved this cozy cabin, right on Green Lake across from Interlochen arts academy. We were visiting our daughter for her senior thesis presentation and sat outside, drinking a glass of wine, listening to the beautiful music traveling across the water. The cabin itself was cozy and warm and well equipped! Perfect family stay!

If our goal was to hang by the lake, the location was good. The houses in this area are very, very close to each other. The room upstairs was very large but not sure there is a/c. The two rooms on lower level were small and a tight fit for two adults. Our trip was about spending time in Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes not a lake retreat so we did not spend much time at the house. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but there is a nice grocery store. The house was clean just not the best fit for us. I think a family with children would fit well in this house.

Rustic but comfortable with lots of beds/baths and great location close to Traverse City for lots of wineries, shopping and golf. Owner was very easy to work with but may need to change cleaning service. Towels and pillows could use an upgrade. Be aware you need to conserve water and will likely want to purchase drinking water. We appreciated our s'mores welcome gift and used it multiple nights with the firepit. Great lake view and you can hear music from Interlochen. We found everything we needed in the cabin but without a washer and dryer, a laundromat recommendation would have been helpful, especially for a 2-week stay. Neighborhood is family friendly and on a dirt road.

The house is facing Green Lake. There is a small park between the house and the lake. It is in Interlochen so the house is 5 minutes away from a world class cultural center/school/camps with live music, art shows, plays,dances etc. There' is kayaking, canoeing, fishing on Green Lake and the rivers that feed it. About 30 minutes to Lake Michigan and Traverse City.

Green Lake beauty
Very spacious, comfortable cottage with virtually everything you need. Super clean lake with awesome swimming areas, great for kayaking and fishing. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Awesome experience. Definitely a place to return to. Beautiful views, relaxation at its best. Communication with the owner was great, very easy to get ahold of for any questions. Loved our stay.

Cottage beautiful; Lake needed more description
The cottage was beautiful and quite comfortable, except the upstairs was VERY hot. No central air conditioning, just window units in downstairs. Outside temps were upper 80s and low 90s, so breeze off the lake and ceiling fans did not cool down the upstairs. Additional info needed in listing regarding the lake: very shallow until quite aways out, bottom is rocky with broken shells. A suggestion to bring water shoes would have made the experience more pleasurable.

This property was across the street from a good size lake. Very enjoyable sitting on front porch and watching the lake. The house was very comfortable and a very good location for many activities.

Couldn’t ask for a better host/hostess, location and wonderful home to stay at. Our son graduated from Interlochen, so to be just around the corner was terrific. The home was exactly what was expected from all the reviews given. Thank you!

This VRBO cottage location was excellent, the kitchen was well supplied with what was needed for prepping meals and bed were super comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Great cozy cottage
We’re so glad we made the trip! We had planned a late season ski trip, and when the weather turned bad we almost canceled. So glad we didn’t. The rain made us slow down and enjoy a cozy day in this great cozy cottage. Then we got extra snow… and a winter wonderland! 3 days on the slopes in a fantastic location for exploring. Hope to be back. Thanks so much for making this gem available for us to enjoy!

New Year Ski Trip
Two families shared the property to celebrate the New Year and spend time skiing at Crystal Mountain. Great location, comfortable home, well stocked kitchen, and warm showers after a long day skiing! Space for everyone to enjoy a meal together and space for everyone to spread out. Will put on our short list to stay again of we are skiing in the area.

Ski Getaway
We took a couple days to getaway during the Christmas break. This cabin was in a perfect location, a short drive to Crystal Mountain for the kids to ski and a short drive to Traverse for the adults to shop/explore. We also got the chance to relax. This cabin was cozy and we hope to return during the summer months to enjoy the beautiful lake. Thanks Jennifer for the lovely accommodations!

stocked. beds were comfy, 3 bathrooms was great, 2 tables -especially th big one was great! we were able to visit Leland and Sutton's Bay -not far away!

This was a great place to be! Right near the lake, beautiful lake views. We enjoyed this comfy cottage. It had everything we needed and the location was very nice and quiet. Great for walks, fire pit, and near Interlochen State Park.

Lovely house near Interlochen
Great location for Interlochen attendees. We loved being on the lake and took advantage of the kayaks and swam off the dock several times. The water was shallow and wonderfully clear. The house is cute and very functional and the neighbors we met were nice. We were 3 gals and had room to spare.

Nice is roomy house. Pretty view across the street.
We enjoyed our stay. Nice viewing the lake. Parking for only 3 cars. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The long porch was nice. I loved the porch swing. Just wish we would have had time to have a fire out front.

Property was extremely clean. Located in a beautiful area right across from the lake. Very well equipped in the kitchen. Plenty of space for our group of four. Loved the front porch chairs and bench rocker - perfect place to sit and relax any time of the day. Would highly recommend staying here

Awesome Family Rental
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children were very comfortable in this home. We loved the big table to eat at all together! The front porch and fire pit were also enjoyed by all of us together! Water alarm did go off during our stay, but we only had to text the Owner and it was pumped within the day......we did not need to be there and continued to use water as needed for showers, toilets, etc. The lake is beautiful and clear! Our 7 year old granddaughter spent hours looking for shells on the bottom (with goggles). The community there was also VERY friendly! The only thing I would suggest to anyone interested in staying here is to bring a few extra bath towels. We only had 7 sets for 8 of us and actually had to pick up some extras from the store. A/C window units work very well downstairs, it was very humid and in the upper 80's the first half of the week, so the upstairs was definitely warmer but we survived with the fans and windows open. Guess it would depend on each individual and their tolerance for heat & humidity. Other than that, this place is perfect and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks Witt family for sharing your home with us!

Dreamcatcher cottage July 2021 3 generation family stay
The house was very charming and had lot of character. Property manager was very nice and good communicator. House worked well for three generation family. There was not any laundry available and the upstairs can be hot on hot days because there is not whole house air just window conditioners.
