We had stayed at this property in the past. (But in another unit). The apartment met all of our expectations: it was spacious, clean, well-furnished & an excellent kitchen. Our host, Johan, was most accommodating & very personable. We all agreed that if we return to Isla Mujeres, we will stay here again.

Isla 33 is on the backside of the island and a couple of miles from downtown area. But there are restaurants close by and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The property was as advertised with a great ocean view. Johann the property manager was easy to reach and quick to respond. I would recommend this property.

This was the perfect place for our first stay on the island! It is mid-island and was a great location to go exploring in punta sur or go eat and enjoy north beach the other way. The underground parking was so convenient, too! Every morning you wake up and see a gorgeous sunrise and you almost feel like you are on the ocean in a cruise ship! We woke up and ran the beautiful scenic walkway every morning and watched iguanas sunbathe on the rocks. I only have 2 suggestions: 1. additional towel for those that are staying a week. 2. Window coverings for the side windows in the master to block out the neighboring porch lights because they are so bright at night. We would recommend this condo to friends and also stay again! Johann began communicating with us long before we arrived. He met us on site right when we arrived and was extremely responsive any time we had questions. We requested house keeping and additional water, and he was on it. The unit has a great layout, looking toward Cancun from the kitchen, and out at the Caribbean from the living room. The bedrooms are both spacious, with tons of closet space. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with most things you would need to cook for a few people. The roof top area isn’t fancy, but has an incredible view of sunset and sunrise and the whole island. There is assigned underground parking for your golf cart, which was really nice. There is also convenient parking across the street. This unit is walking distance from great restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks, as well as a gym and coffee shop. In fact, there is an Irish pub on the ground floor of the property. They have live music most days, which was really fun. This won’t have impact on many people, but if you are a light sleeper like my husband, you will want to be aware that there is a road in front of the condo, and it is always busy. We loved having our bedroom sliding glass door open to hear the sea, but the road noise at night was pretty heavy.. This is no different issue than most other properties on this side of the island, but thought it is important to mention. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on Isla Mujeres!

This was my first time to Isla Mujeres and I am so glad I stayed at Johanns place! The apartment was walking distance to many cafes and local restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with great amenities. We had a great time, and when we return, will definitely be staying here again!

This was our second time is Isla and third condo rental. Johann was awesome. His condo had great attention to detail - lots of towels, places to hang towels/bathing suits, well supplied kitchen. You can tell he is local by how well everything works. Would highly recommend staying with him - this was the best place we stayed in at Isla 33.

The property was perfect my family. We stayed here for 1 week and had an amazing time. the view is beautiful to wake up to and very relaxing for our family. The host was super helpful and responsive which only made our trip even better! I would highly recommend.

My wife and I took her parents for a quick getaway. They are both in their late 70's. This place was perfect. Mid-island, easy access to unit via elevator, great Irish restaurant (Neal's) downstairs, and beautiful view. Highly recommend this rental and if already booked, this location Isla 33.

We had a short, but great stay at Johann’s beautiful property. Everything was as featured, if not better. There are breathtaking views from the condo and a very nice ocean walk just across the street. The parking garage and elevator was very convenient for us, as we traveled with older family members. We didn’t have a chance to use the other facilities, but having the bar: restaurant downstairs was clutch on the rainy days. It’s a ways from Playa Norte where there’s more food options, but we had no issues since we had our own transportation. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

This is a great property. Everything you need. Large 2BR/2Bth, full kitchen and LR. Perfect location in the middle of the island right on the water. Easy to get to North or South. Restaurant on site with live music daily. Host was very nice. 3 pools. Would recommend this condo to anyone. 5 STAR

Loved this place!

Rental was beautifully furnished and had an amazing view. Property is located in a nice quiet area of the island and only 100m from a great food truck we visited several times. Joe was super quick to respond to any questions and even arranged to get the A/C fixed in one of the bedrooms before we realized it was broken. Overall highly recommend!!

It was a nice conveiant stay. Clean and had everything we needed. When we arrived it was difficult to locate the apartment and when we asked the employees at the restaurant they were not helpful at all. We went up and down the building trying to locate the number of the apartment and finally located the custodian staff who directed us to it. Restaurant staff has nothing to do with the owner but wish they were more pleasant. They couldn’t even let us borrow their wifi to get in touch with the owner. Once we were setttled in the cleaning lady was just finishing up with the apartment and was quite pleasant. Overall great communication with the owner and the stay was wonderful and convenient. Not too close to the downtown area nor to the southern part of the land but just right. Will stay on another occasion.

I’ve been coming to the island for many years! Since Isla 33 opened, it is always our first place to check for a rental. Perfectly located in the center of the island and just a quick golf cart ride to North Beach! Or a quick ride to the south end, CHEDURAI, or one of our favorite places for fish tacos and a cocktail “The Joint”! Under ground parking garage is definitely a plus!! Elevator is a godsend for those with bad knees that prefer not to take the stairs (like me)! View is beautiful from the apartment overlooking and hearing the crashing waves! Property is well maintained! Enjoyed the Irish restaurant/bar on the property! Live music and great mango margaritas! I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this place again. 5

This property was clean and beautifully decorated with modern amenities! The bedrooms are big! The property is away from the downtown/ North area but you can get there in about 10 min by taxi or golfcart. Johann is very attentive and helpful with quick response to any questions/ concerns! Definitely eat at Neals Irish Pub there on the property, the food is delicious!

Great place to stay!

Great Condo in a great location. Centrally located with a rooftop lookout to see both sides of the ocean, perfect to watch the sunrise and the sunset. 5-10 minutes or less golf cart drive to just about anywhere on lsla. We loved the spacious rooms. Johan is a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This property was 100% as specified everything was so beautiful and well taken care of the pools were beautiful the views were stunning ! Johann was very kind and helpful very easy to reach as well . The restaurant downstairs was so good and the music was amazing I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying on Isla mujeres.

Johann was an amazing host. He went out of his way to organize our golf cart and delivered more water when needed. The condo is absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. We were in the middle of the island so not crazy crowded but you can still walk to wonderful restaurants and even a day spa. Fabulous trip!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo in Isla 33!! Very comfortable for 3 adults and 1 child, and Johann was wonderful to work with!!

Jo was a great host and quickly communicated throughout our visit. The condo felt like home the minute we walked in. It was spacious, had a well stocked kitchen, more than enough quality towels and linens, and had unexpected amenities like a couple beach chairs and a beach umbrella. They were perfect for the nice little uncrowded beach less than a mile away. It was close to a grocery store and walkable to restaurants and bars with a local flair you won’t get on Hidalgo Street. The sunsets from the rooftop cannot be beat. It feels like you are on top of the island. We would definitely stay here again.

The views from this condo are outstanding! The many pools are clean and inviting! It is in a nice neighborhood and is within walking distance to some grocery stores and restaurants. We recommend renting a golf cart if you want to get around and explore. The master bedroom is huge with a wonderful tub/ensuite and balcony access. The second bedroom balcony looks over a nice little park at the back. Although the kitchen had most things we needed, it could use some wine glasses, a toaster, carving knives and some T-towels. The white (grey) bath towels are starting to show some wear and tear. The manager of the property was very quick to respond to our booking and questions.

Amazing ocean view, beautiful home, great food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. We WILL be back!!!
