We had stayed in this cottage a few years ago and enjoyed everything about it. We opted to stay a longer period this trip, 2 weeks, with one week as vacation and the second week as "stay at home" work. This was an excellent location to work from, quiet and peaceful, and the Internet performance was excellent allowing video conferencing calls to proceed smoothly. For those more interested in time away from work, the restful setting, full kitchen (should you prefer to prepare your meals), tastefully appointed interior and beautifully appointed landscape setting, will make it difficult to leave. The owners are very easy to work with and assured our stay was pleasant. We look forward to another stay in the near future!

What an incredible week we had! We were treated by our gracious hosts Vicky and Gary who couldn’t have been more welcoming! They were very organized and had everything we needed at the ready. The property was exactly as described - exactly! It is a gorgeous cottage on a beautifully taken care of piece of property. The gardens were gorgeous. Nice we’re so quiet and peaceful. Overall an incredible experience and without a doubt, we will be back.Thank you for the wonderful opportunity of sharing your home with us!

A wonderful break from Ohio weather in this Spanish cottage surrounded by gardens made the first three days of our vacation perfect. Location and aesthetics were just what we wanted.

Vicky & Gary’s property is absolutely perfect! Quiet, clean and charming, it has all the amenities to feel as cozy as home, but better. Set in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac, the guesthouse sits at the back of their property but offers full privacy from any neighbors. The home itself is well appointed with everything you will need for your getaway and Vicky is available to help with any suggestions for dining as well. Only minutes to the beach or downtown Santa Barbara, makes it an ideal location too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! (Mazie was an added cute bonus!) Thank you for being such great hosts!

Property is as described-very charming and serene. Everything you need is there for you. Location in Montecito is great- minutes to the beach, trails and restaurants (in Montecito and Santa Barbara). Hosts are lovely.

The unit was in VERY close proximity to main house. You could see into their windows & vice versa. Even worse was lumpy squeaky bed. Nice linens however. Interior of unit had entire section closed off as art studio. Not happy with single ply TP or no kleenex anywhere or half used costco size toilities like Suave. Ultra long shower curtain was tripping hazard. Also disappointed shower had no hand held fixture. Amazing pictures do not reflect lack of privacy or lack of luxury amenities associated with a Montecito property.

The casita was very clean and nicely furnished and comfortable. The vegetation surrounding the house was beautiful.

Comfortable little cottage just outside Santa Barbara. Great location, easy access to freeway. Very quiet. It was the perfect getaway. Hope to be able to come back soon.

I can not say enough good things about this property and the hosts (Vicky and Gary). My wife and I have stayed at numerous properties all over Southern California, but this is quite possibly the best. The location is beautiful, we felt a million miles away from the chaos of our work-life, and the cottage itself was perfectly designed and decorated. Also, the property was a quick drive into Santa Barbra for dinning and shopping. My wife and I had wonderful weekend and would love to come back. You can not go wrong with this property.

Simple, charming, clean, neat and tidy. Helpful but not hovering host. Garden is a calming, healing spot. Relaxing to be away from the hustle bustle of the crowds but minutes to beach, State street, Summerland antiques. We plan to return.

A wonderful little cottage in Montecito amidst Eucalyptus and fuschia bougainvilla on a little hill provided a peaceful week for us. Our hosts were most welcoming and warm. The cottage was in an ideal location to both upper and lower villages as well as just a few minutes to Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. The furnishings were most comfortable and tasteful. We highly recommend Hedgerow!

My husband and I loved the cottage! It’s very peaceful and private, and convenient to both the upper village (15-minute walk) and lower village (5-minute drive) in Montecito. Santa Barbara proper is a short distance, as are all the beaches. During our week’s stay, we visited family in Santa Barbara, went to several beaches, ate out around State Street and the Funk Zone, and explored other tourist sites in the area. At the end of the day/evening, it was wonderful to return to the cottage for a quiet night’s sleep and undisturbed morning, away from the crowds. The cottage is so comfortable with many windows, French doors, and shade. As evident from the website photos, the design details are lovely. The owners are welcoming and very helpful, but unobtrusive. We look forward to a return visit and highly recommend the cottage.

Not far from the hustle and bustle of Santa Barbara sits a beautiful little cottage. This wonderfully crafted one bedroom building has all you need for a weekend away. Slept with all fo the windows open each night and woke to sounds of birds. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
