We had a wonderful time at Almost Aspen and really enjoyed its features and layout. A minor complaint is that we had trouble getting the key to turn in the door from the outside. We had little contact with the team, as we received email info and picked up/dropped off keys from the box. Everything seemed to be in order.

We loved the property, Almost Aspen! Great big space for our group of adults and children. Plenty of space and the deck was awesome! What a place to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings! Becky was great to work with. This was our 2nd time using MountainTop Reality and both times she has been very helpful and quick to respond!

I genuinely enjoyed this home and the entire experience with mountain top realty. It was exactly as described with zero unwanted surprises. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed. Thank you for helping us make this weekend wonderful and memorable. I’d be happy to stay here again! Not a negative thing to say. Anyone I have interacted with from the team has been professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful.

I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay in almost aspen. We were pleased with everything about it and would definitely stay again.

Nice place

1) The TV stand is broken!!! That TV is GOING to fall on someone. You can look at the stand and it is bowing in the middle and the back leg did not look stable. 2) The window on the main floor behind the couch was unable to close fully letting in some snow. 3) The basement door is extremely difficult to lock. I worked with Becky and she was WONDERFUL. Happy to rent with her again :)

We had a great trip to Timberline Mountain and will definitely visit the slopes again. Everyone was very helpful!

Location, Location, Location!

The space itself was great, the experience around the space, less so. I emailed the property manager regarding the grill (the photos show gas but description says charcoal) and kitchen appliances, specifically a griddle. I was assured there was a charcoal grill, not a gas grill, and no griddle, so I purchased charcoal, lighter fluid, and a griddle for our needs. Of course I arrive and there is no charcoal grill but a gas grill, and a griddle. The wifi information was incorrect and the fix was to simply restart the router, with no details where to find that in a 6 bedroom home. The hot tub instructions said it was slow to heat up, and when we arrived on Friday it was off and the temperature was 66. It took overnight and into the morning (half of our stay) to heat to a reasonable temperature. The pictures showed a great pool table but in reality the pool table didn’t have all the balls, a rack, or any non-broken cues to play with. Then, at checkout, which was early at 10:30, we had to wash towels and dishes before leaving, meaning basically we had to be ready to leave around 9:30. We had high hopes for this place but the reality did not match what we expected.

I booked our stay for a group of 12 to go rafting locally. We loved the property and location. There was something for everyone! We are already planning our next trip back in the winter. It was a beautiful house on the interior and our group lived the pool table and hot tub. Everyone was great.

I have used you a couple of times and would not hesitate to use you again. The 2 car garage was perfect to put our motorcycles in You were great. Good communication. You even delivered a new tank of gas for the grill.

Love it will be back. Each time the group gets bigger. May need two units next time. Convenient to lodge and with hot tub and pool table you can do a lot without leaving house. The interior is very nice. Very courteous helpful and willing to address any issues.

Some in our group were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't usable, but besides that we had a very nice stay and thought the house was just as presented on the web site. Becky is a pleasure to deal with. We had a severe condensation problem that caused the downstairs floor to be very wet. Mountain Top Realty's maintenance guys did an outstanding job reacting to this! They did a thorough inspection and supplied a fan and dehumidifier that solved the problem.

We all had a great time because we were all able to stay together in one house. The people in the office were all very nice and easy to work with.

Location - right on the base of Timberline Mountaintop Realty did a fine job. Third party contractors ( internet ) not so much...

We come with out daughters and their guys to connect ad a family. This was our 2nd of many trips to Canaan Valley. Our first trip before we dated was in 2004 with our church. It's been special to us since! Convenience to the slopes was awesome! The rocker in front of the fireplace was my fave spot! I didn't have much need to interact with anyone, but the little that I did was very easy

I was surprised to see a gratuity envelope from the housekeeping people.
