Nuestra acogedora cabaña de montaña se encuentra en un excelente vecindario y el lugar perfecto para cualquier temporada. Puede disfrutar de hermosas vistas del bosque y la montaña desde la terraza trasera y el jacuzzi privado. Es un lugar maravilloso para disfrutar de muchas actividades al aire libre o simplemente relajarse. Hay esquí alpino, trineo, raquetas de nieve en Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, a solo 5 millas de la cabina. Otras áreas de esquí cercanas a South Shore son Sierra Ski Resort y Kirkwood. La costa sur también tiene deportes acuáticos y los casinos / juegos de azar están a solo 5-8 millas de la cabina. What a wonderful cabin! We have stayed at multiple cabins around Lake Tahoe over the years and this is tops. Two decks give you a shady (or sunny) place to gather or relax anytime of the day. Located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views from the back deck and tall pines in the front. Inside is a wonderfully furnished home with three bedrooms, two new baths, and two large lounging areas (one upstairs and one down). The well-equiped kitchen passed my cheffy wife's requirements with flying colors, so you don't have to bring half of your own kitchen with you if you like to cook. We took a lake cruise on the Bleu Wave yacht, gondolas to the top of Heavenly Valley, hiked the stream profile chamber trail, and did a leisurely drive around the lake. All this was punctuated by four restful nights on comfortable beds in Bernadette and Lorin's beautiful home. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'm sure we'll be back!

Bernadette is a great communicator and clearly loves and cares for her home. Tahoe is full of neglected vacation rentals with falling apart furniture, poorly stocked kitchens, and filthy hot tubs. Bernadette’s place is the exact opposite. It was our section time her for our group of four adults and four kids. Hope to return next year! Thanks Bernadette!

We stayed in this house one week last year and had a great time. This year we were able to stay for the whole month of July! The location is perfect! Quiet, peaceful and yet close to some of our favorite activities, restaurants and the back yards feels like we’re all by ourselves. PERFECT!

Fabulous hosts that answered all questions and made the arrival seem less and worrry-free. Place is clean, cozy, and well equipped. Hot tub under the redwoods hit the spot after a day of skiing. Close to Sierra! Will definitely come again!

We stayed here for a week. Two families i.e 4 adults and 3 kids. Place was very clean and well organized. There were enough utensils in the kitchen. Jacuzzi was already set to the right temperature and there are good instructions to follow everywhere in house. House have enough space for two families. There was only one room with king bed, so our family had to split in two rooms. There were few minor things like, property does not have hair dryer so please take one, also bath soap and stuff is not enough so please take your own. One of the bathroom lock was broken and dryer was too slow to dry. Overall the property is clean and very well managed, we will be back.

We loved our winter weekend in this cabin. Bernadette was helpful and flexible when we got snowed in and needed to stay another night.
The bedrooms get chilly at night, but space heaters and plenty of blankets kept everyone cozy.

Very comfortable and clean. Perfect spot to make a base for our ski trip. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices. Host was very accommodating in the changing of dates due to us falling sick. Thank you!

Bernadette is a great host and the cabin is just perfect. The kitchen is very well appointed and there is plenty of space to gather around the cozy fireplace downstairs and another great space in the loft with its own fireplace upstairs. The bedrooms were just the right size and beds were comfortable. Even the hot tub is perfect and a welcome serene relief soaking and watching the stars at night after a day in the mountain.

We had the best stay. The cabin was spacious with great views from the backyard. We loved having the hot tub and the grill! It was a great location with just a short drive to the beach and many hikes. Would absolutely recommend.

We recently were in Tahoe for a wedding and stayed at this cabin. Bernadette was absolutely amazing. The beds and pillows were so comfy and there wasn’t a thing that we needed that wasn’t thought about beforehand and available for our use. There were plenty of towels and bedding and we enjoyed the hot tub and having a grill to use. It was an absolutely amazing trip and having a home away from home to come back to every evening was the icing on the cake.

My husband, two teenage daughters and myself absolutely loved our stay in this very clean and comfortable house. It was well furnished, the beds were quite comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses, and pots and pans. The location was central in both directions, the neighborhood was quiet and we loved the cozy fireplace (and views). We appreciated the close attention to detail as well as the consistent communication with the owner, Bernadette. The four of us agreed that this house was like a home away from home and that we'll definitely be back!

My girlfriends and I stayed at this adorable property for a girls trip mid January. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The house is an adorable Tahoe inspired/cabin feel about a 10 minute drive from the North parking lot at Heavenly and about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown south Tahoe where there’s tons of great restaurants, and I’m assuming nightlife (though we opted to spend our evenings soaking in the nice hot tub and watching the sunset). The house was bigger than I imagined, and had everything we could have wanted. Communication with Bernadette was easy, (she’s such a sweetheart) and check in and out was a breeze. We had no new snow so our rear wheel drive rental car was fine, but I’d definitely recommend 4 wheel drive for the neighborhood if there’s fresh snow as the neighborhood roads were pretty icy. We would love to stay here again! Thanks again Bernadette!

We had such a wonderful getaway to this comfortable cabin. We were two couples with two 3 year olds, and the place was perfect. Everything was well kept and comfortable. Plenty to do for the kids. And the lovely hot tub a huge bonus! Thanks!

great place. kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and dishes/silverware. had salt/pepper/other spices, as well as saran wrap, foil. comes with dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. we came during a blizzard and the driveway was shoveled. The neighborhood is a little treacherous to navigate thru if you don't have a good winter car. i would recommend a 4wd car here if you come in the winter b/c the neighborhood isn't able to be plowed as well as the main roads. fire places worked great. Host was very responsive. She was also very understanding of our situtation (coming in a snowstorm), and allowed us to shift our dates by a day, since the roads into tahoe were closed. thank you!

We had a great time at the cabin. Very cozy, clean and organized. The hot tube in the backyard up against the pine trees was perfect after a day of hiking and swimming. The only thing unexpected was the very unfriendly next door neighbor. We had young generally very well behaved toddlers and they were quite excited about playing in the hot tub and the lady next door screamed for them to “shut up” the very first day we arrived. This was at 5pm in the afternoon and they were simply playing and laughing, not fighting or screaming. Needless to say they were quite scared the rest of the trip. Just something to be aware.

This cabin was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable. The location was close enough to anything you wanted to do but far enough out that you could really enjoy nature. Would definitely stay here again. Bernadette was extremely helpful.
