We really enjoyed our say in your beautiful home. The house was exactly as described. It has all of the needed amenities and then some. We did not cook while we were there, but we could have as the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and it was very nice having the half bath downstairs in addition to two full bathrooms upstairs. The location of the house is perfect. You are within just a few minutes from just about everything and only a short drive to the interstate which will take you anywhere you wanted to be from Asheville to Hendersonville. The location near Lake Tomahawk and Black Mountain town was the main motivating factor for selecting this reservation and it met those expectations. The interior was clean and furnishings were updated and in good shape. The appliances were a bit dated, but in good condition and the house was stocked with the necessary basics. The pictures were cropped such that they didn't provide insight into how close the house was to a busy street without a shoulder, so we were a bit disappointed by the lack of outdoor space in either the front yard (which was basically just a short driveway) and the back yard (which didn't have any place to sit other than the very small back patio).

Well equipped, comfortable and clean

We truly enjoyed every minute of our week in this lovely home. Lake Tomahawk is an easy week and great for running, walking and people watching. The town center is also easily accessible by foot. We feel grateful to have staying here, and loved sitting out on both the front and back porch areas. Highly recommended.

We were staying at another VRBO rental and the power went out. We scrambled to find another location and came across this home in our search. Communication was good, finding the home was easy and pictures matched the interior. Exterior of home is a little tired and needs some maintenance. Curling shutters and the huge weed growing out from the porch had us hesitating when we pulled in. Sitting on the front porch was not appealing due to dirt and cobwebs. ..it could use a good cleaning. Inside, the house matched the pictures and was very comfortable. The baseboards and walls could use a good wipedown. When we checked the beds, the king bed had hair on it. Assuming the bedding was on the floor at some point and no one realized it it had hair on the sheets when they made it? We brought our own sheets and comforters, so we just changed everything to be sure it was clean. There were ants in the kitchen when we got to the home. Due to a lot of rain, we figured that's why we saw them. I messaged the homeowner and let her know we pulled an ant trap from their supplies and put it out. Due to the last minute shuffle for our family, we were thankful to find somewhere to stay that was decent and in a good neighborhood. It was convenient to town and central to things we planned to do during our stay. I appreciated that the decorations were simple and the home felt comfortable.

Lots of counter space in bathrooms and a dresser in the master closet. Host was very responsive.

Nice quiet neighborhood. House was very, very clean. Just as pictured online. Would stay there again.

We have two teens and one preteen that stayed in this home with us. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen had plenty of items for making meals. The beds were comfy and the master suite bathroom was nice for me and my husband. Overall, we had a lovely stay!

I can’t believe how amazing this property is for a relaxing, comfortable environment in the heart of Black Mountain! We absolutely were blown away by the value we received for this wonderful place. I definitely will stay here again. I have told all my friends who plan to visit. The owners were responsive, gracious and attentive to us. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Can’t say enough good things about the property.

I traveled with my two adult daughters and one of their friends to Black Mountain. The house was conveniently located to downtown and the surrounding area. Everything was very clean and we had more than enough room. They commented that this was probably the nicest VRBO that we have stayed in to date!

This is a comfortable large home in a quiet local neighborhood, close to everything we wanted. The house is clean, well equipped and as described in the listing . Beds and pillows were a little hard but good enough . I would stay here again.

This home is very comfortable to stay at. It is extremely clean, very functional and well decorated. Each of the three bedrooms had nice linens, and walk in closets ( with luggage racks!). It worked perfect for my husband and I to meet up with our daughter, son-in-law, grand-baby, and son. We explored Black Mountain and Asheville area from this home base. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed gathering at the kitchen table and in the living room with its cozy fireplace and nice seating area. The entire house is extremely well decorated with no clutter and lots of convenience. Easy walk to Lake Tomahawk. Highly recommend!

Within a short walk to Lake Tomahawk, this place offers quiet and convenience. Very spacious and clean. It’s away from all the noise and traffic and yet it’s only a 2 to 3 minute drive to the downtown area shops and restaurants.

Very clean and well kept. Easy access to town and highways . Host very response. Black Mountian was a great place for us

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in Black Mountain. The house was so nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

The house was clean and very close to the great restaurants, shopping, and activities in Black Mountain. It was close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well. The hosts were very responsive, which we appreciated.

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home in beautiful Black Mountain, North Carolina. We were looking for something that would have that vacation feel without being too far from our son and his wife in Asheville. We got to have our two grandchildren ages 9 and 11 spend the entire week with us. They loved it too. Great location, as it was was so close to Lake Tomahawk, Black Mountain pool and even downtown Black Mountain. It became an evening ritual to walk to the lake and watch the sunset. The house had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. We watched fireflies while sitting on the front porch the first evening. Angela, the host, was excellent in returning a text also. Highly recommend staying here. Such a great place.

Could not have been happier staying at this house in Black Mountain. Walked into to an extremely tidy and cute house that met all our needs! Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and all the appliances were in perfect working order. All the bedrooms upstairs had walk in closets and the main bedroom upstairs (where we stayed) had a dresser and mirror in the closet. Hangers were provided in all the closets too. Loved being able to walk down to the lake nearby too. Our grandkids were with us for 8 days and loved the Black Mountain pool right next to the lake. We stayed a month and felt right at home! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.

great house. It had everything we could possibly need. It's a small thing but it had night lights which is great when you are in a new place. It was a nice walk downtown and I loved walking around the lake every morning. Close to Asheville as well. Wonderful stay!
