Young family with infant, dog and grandparents stayed in Mid July. The accommodation was just wonderful. The kitchen had everything you needed, and we cooked almost every night. The yard is very dog friendly and is very nice with loads of flowers.
The gold star of course is the pool. We used it a lot as we were there during a heatwave. The beaches 3 of them are all within 10-15 minute drive.
The house is quiet, and Barb was a great host.

Our family of 5 adults spent 4 nights at the house. It was a perfect location for visiting the wineries and a short distance from the downtown area of Penticton. The house itself is amazing and we loved the large, private pool in the backyard. The beds are very comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet so sleeping is not a problem. The owner, Barb, is very friendly and answered all of our questions promptly. We will definitely book another stay in the future.

We loved our stay at this property which afforded room for all of our family of four. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. There is a den on the bottom floor with attached bath (could have been used as a bedroom too); Three bedrooms on a top floor of a split level home. The main floor had an open concept living/kitchen and dining room It was beautifully decorated and calm. We will stay again if we are in town (we were here for a week for one of our kids to attend a hockey camp and it was a convenient 10 minute drive)

Exactly What We Needed
This house was exactly what we needed. We had the whole front yard for our dog to roam, super comfortable bedrooms, an amazing layout with the open concept living room, dining room & newly renovated kitchen & of course the fantastic pool and beautifully landscaped pool deck. We’d stay here again! We were so comfortable & didn’t want to leave.

Extended my stay
This home was just great - good location, comfortable beds, nice views. When I needed to stay longer than expected (10 days instead of 3), I was happy to be able to extend my stay at this nice place rather than finding different accommodations. Barb was a great host and the home has all the supplies we needed.

Great rental property, great host
We spent 10 days at this property while visiting Penticton. The property is conveniently located. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It has nice views of the local mountains and sunsets. Barbara was a fantastic, supportive and kind host. We really appreciate her making this lovely home available to us.

Perfect Penticton
This place was perfect for us - two couples and one dog. (Easily sleeps 6). Barb was an amazing and gracious host. The house is well stocked, spacious, the pool is a dream on a hot day. Our dog Molly enjoyed playing in the fenced front yard. And loved that it had A/C.
Great location to explore Penticton, Naramata, Summerland or head south to Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stress-free vacation
This property met all our needs. The bedrooms, beds and linens were comfy. The living areas were spacious. They kitchen was beautifully renovated and well appointed. Barbara was a great host and was super helpful with setting up our stay and answering all our questions. The pool was very private and the perfect size for our group...our only small complaint was that it was a few degrees too cold for our little kids to stay in very long, but other than that it was a great stay. We hope to return again!

Gorgeous house with a wonderful pool and great views. The home was clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Perfect Home for a family or group
Beautiful, spacious, clean and welcoming home. We are sad we never did use the pool (we ran out of time). We enjoyed the house immensely. It was comfortable and we lacked for nothing. We would stay there again in the future. Thank you Barb and Mya.

Awesome weekend getaway!

Loved our time at the Crazy Quail - so many amazing things to do in Penticton and this was the perfect base for our family. Our 4 kids loved the pool! Enjoyable and relaxing
We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean, and Barbara was pleasant to deal with. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool. I brought my dog, and the area out front where she could run around was convenient.

Wonder week in BC!
Barbara's home is beautiful, well appointed and spacious but with a very cozy feel. We were two families enjoying a holiday getaway and ski vacation. This was the perfect spot! The beds are super comfy, the home is decorated in a lovely and attractive way. The sectional in the living room is so very comfortable and perfect for curling up with a good book, to watch a movie or enjoy the beautiful views out the full wall of windows overlooking the snowy foothills. We all loved our long soaks in the clawfoot tub after a full day of skiing. We enjoyed making delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen for our crew of 8 people (7 adults and one child). Our pup loved her time in the snow and the fenced in front yard made it easy and safe to let her out. We made use of the washer and dryer during our week long stay--a great convenience!
We highly recommend The Bench Market and Bad Tattoo Pizza place and the numerous micro breweries in the area. Apex ski area (20-30 min away) was a group favorite and all loved the expansive Big White resort (just under 2 hrs drive) for Skiing and Snowboarding as well.
We'd love to return to this wonderful home for another Okanagan adventure (summer or winter)! Thank you Barbara!

Crazy Quail House
Our stay was rather short but excellent. There were four adults for two nights and we found Crazy Quail House extremely comfortable and very well equipped and appointed.
The location made everything in Penticton and the Naramata very accessible.
The neighbourhood was quiet and it was a bonus to start each day with the living room flooded with light and the spectacular mountain view.
Our host, Barb, was very pleasant and available should we have had questions or needed anything....neither was the case.
I would recommend Crazy Quails House without any reservation.

Beautiful Penticton House
Barbs house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of comfortable sleeping space, and a gorgeous family room and kitchen. We didn't use the pool, but it was also a lovely addition.
Everything was extremely clean and well stocked . Barb welcomed us , and check in was very easy.

Comfy!
We had a wonderful time! The house is extremely well equipped with all the staples so we only had to buy food. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds are comfy. We felt right at home immediately. The kids loved the pool and could have spent everyday just hanging out in it! We really appreciated the recycling set-up. This is a great property for a family! We hope to get back again some day!!

Best vacation home we could have asked for!
This past weekend myself and seven of my girlfriends rented out Barb's home. Naturally, we were a little worried that the moment all of us got together the volume would be too much for them to bear...we were wrong! Barb and her daughter were so wonderful and accommodating. They were easily accessible whenever we needed them but also gave us the space to make some of the most memorable experiences we have together to date. The house was spotless and well taken care of, the pool was the perfect size and so beautiful, and the atmosphere was amazing. I would recommend this home to anyone, old or young, looking for a place to vacation at! We had the most amazing time. Thank you Barb!!

Very Spacious and Comfortable
A group of 9 of us stayed here for 3 days while skiing Apex in beginning of February. I was instantly impressed with the large dining area/living area. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was easily big enough for all of us and we cooked our own food for breakfast and dinner every night.

Perfect Property
This was a perfect property. We came to watch our son play hockey for the vees. It is a great location minutes away from most things. I enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area. We did a lot of cooking and were able to seat all of our family and a few extra players at the dinner table. The sofa was large enough for all of us to watch movies together. And the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this sweet property to all! Barbara was awesome!

This was a wonderful property to stay in with our extended family... We enjoyed the space it was large enough for dinner of 12 with plenty of room. The views were spectacular and the neighbourhood was quiet. We were five adults staying in the house and we had lots of room and the house was clean. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of light in the kitchen and living room. Our host Barb was very hospitable.. We would come back for sure.
