Condo was beautiful! Pictures of the condo are accurate. I liked the coded door so there was no key or card to keep up with. Fully stocked. Plenty of nice linens for both bathrooms. Very clean! Beds were very comfortable. Nice parking. Area is beautiful. Pet friendly. Nice walking areas around condo. Only drawback was the walk to the beach. The dunes in this area are very large. There is a nice Trex walkover but at the end is a large sand hill on both sides. So if you are elderly or have health issues the walk down to the beach and back up can be a challenge. The best thing we did was rent umbrellas & chairs from Riptides the last day we were there. Instead of trying to carrying them ourselves down to the beach. Riptides set them up @ 7:45 a.m. & didn't take them down until 5:00 p.m. So much easier for us older folks!
Awesome communication with the owner Brenda Jackson! She text the morning after arrival to check in on us & to see if everything was ok. I appreciated that!

We've stayed in this unit before and it is definitely our favorite! We love the privacy of the two king suites and the unit is always clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is pretty well equipped for our use (although the toaster doesn't work well : ), and the view is great! We love staying there.

This condo was made to host couples who love their pets. It was decorated to withstand people going to the beach and also not disturbed by having a pet with you. The whole condo complex had many families with pets staying when we were there. It is an older complex but serves the needs of those who want to be right at the beach. The lawn in front of us had resident box turtles and an armadillo to keep everyone entertained.

The weather was hot, the beach was great, and the condo was perfect. Seeing the ocean each morning was a much needed tonic for our family after a busy year of job changes and work projects. The ground floor setup is great for easy access to the beach and bringing in groceries! Wonderful condo with great owners that are very responsive to renter questions.

We loved the condo. It had just what we wanted. We had our little Bichon with us & he loved it too. It was tastefully decorated & had everything we needed. We found the bed very comfortable & gave us good rest & peaceful sleep. We love Amelia & hope to return to this Sailmaker condo!

This is our second year in Amelia Island and truly recommend the southern part due to the bike and walking paths. The home exceeded our expectations; the condo area was very quiet, and the location for walking and biking was ideal. We enjoyed ourselves at the Ritz for the additional amenity card.

1st floor access easy to get to.....easy to walk out back sliders right onto access to beach.....large condo and comfy furniture and bed....with preferred step in shower.cold weather was a downer....but still provided a quiet " battery charging time" to relax with ocean in sight and sound 24/7. Really appreciated the pet friendly ability too as our shi tzu discovered the beach and waves.

This was the best experience we have ever had with a property owner. She provided all the needed information and directions, as well as restaurant recommendations well in advance of our booking and was easy to reach and quick to respond when there was a minor issue. The property is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and appointed, lacking for nothing. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience!

Our family has stayed in this unit for vacation for the last three years. We love the location on the ground floor with a front entrance close to designated parking and a back entrance close to the beach. Another advantage is the bedroom arrangement of two masters with king beds and accompanying baths. We always have extended family staying in other units and the grassed area between the patio and the dunes is perfect for children’s play. The owners are always responsive and have gone out of their way to make our visits enjoyable and to answer any questions we may have. This year, the owner even provided a multi-page information and restaurant guide which was useful and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Sailmaker. The owners were great in communicating to us the details of our stay. Recommendations on restaurants and things to do were superb. We had a beautiful view of the beach. The condominium is up to date with appliances and furnishings. We even saw a Space X launch from the beach during out stay. What a wonderful place to stay while on Amelia Island. We enjoyed being able to take daily walks on the beach via the boardwalk which was only steps away. Just a perfect place to stay we loved it so much we already booked it again for next year. It is in a gated community which felt safe and quiet. Lots of walking and biking paths nearby. Ground floor unit which was so convenient just go out the back slider and walk down the walkway and take the path over the dune and you are on the wide uncrowded beach. Takes maybe a minute. Inside the unit the beds were comfortable with a spacious living space. Brenda was just so responsive anytime I reached out with a question. She also provide great info about the area with a long list of restaurants to try. Historic downtown Fernandina Beach was a fun area to stroll through lots of shops and places to eat. It is about 15 minutes away. We are looking forward to returning.

My husband and I, along with our tiny pomeranian, recently stayed for 10 days in this conveniently-located condo, and it was a wonderful experience for us. The condo was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. We are in our 70's and being on the ground floor was a plus for us because there were no steps, so we could literally walk out our door and be on the grassy lawn that lead to the boardwalk and beach. In addition, our hostess contacted us soon after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed, and that meant a lot to us. If it is available, we will definitely plan stay in this beautiful condo again when we visit Amelia Island.
