Very clean, very nice and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, well stocked and clean home! Inside the open layout of the first floor and the common area on the second floor made for plenty of space for family play and games. Outside the large patio/driveway and adjacent open yard was perfect for outside games. We also enjoyed the park and lakefront area, with a small beach, across the street. Our host, Mark, was very responsive and helpful. We were there for Rye Beach Day and enjoyed chatting with local folks and partaking in some of the festivities. We learned about a local small beach, Lakefront Beach & Park in Huron, where you can wade way out into the water. One recommendation - wear water shoes as there are lake rocks and your feet will appreciate it! Overall it was great spot for family getaway.

The house is great. Has a big open floor plan with plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen is very well equipped, bedrooms are good sized, there is plenty of parking and it is in a great location overlooking a playground and beach.

The house was clean. Great view of water. Nice, but small playground out front. Garage area with toys. The kids played in there one day during rain. It was well supplied with everything you would need, plus toys. Nice beach just 10 minutes down the road. Lake area the kids played in just right in front of house. Great location with pretty view!

Great amenities and a perfect location!

This home exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of space for all of us (12) to be together without being crowded - for eating, playing cards, doing puzzles, reading, or just hanging out. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable - and so quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped and made meal preps with many cooks fun and easy. The entire home was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed - the photos don't do it justice. We enjoyed the views of the lake and the park and beach across the street. Mark was a great host and very responsive to my questions and he provided many details that made our stay extra special, from beach chairs and towels to a blender for our granddaughter's delicious milkshakes to a book that captured the home's renovation in photos. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a place to be together and as a good location for exploring the area (we enjoyed the beach at East Harbor State Park, hiking to the Huron Lighthouse, a river cruise in Vermillion, and more).

Our family absolutely loved this property! It was spacious, beautifully decorated and the location was amazing!!! The five bedrooms as well as additional sleeping accomodations gave our family of all ages the space to spread out & enjoy our privacy and gather again in the kitchen with seating for all of our party to share a meal with three tables & additional barstools. A high chair & pack'n play was available for the toddler. Directly in front of the house is a huge playground & basketball court with Lake Erie just beyond. Mark & Lisa are super-hosts! They have planned for every need! The kitchen is a culinary dream. Every small appliance you could need is there. The laundry area is on the second floor with the bedrooms making it simple to do any laundry needed. We have traveled & used vrbo from Hawaii to NC & several points in between & I have to say this is an exceptional property! We hope to venture back to Cedar Point / Sandusky area next year & hope to book this same home! It is so perfect for our family's needs! Thank you, Mark & Lisa!

The house was perfect! All four bathrooms were full baths. The house was clean, and the kitchen was overstocked with everything. There was a small park between the house and the lake. The windows in the house made let in light and perfect view of the lake. The host was extremely helpful and lives only a few minutes away. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! There were 4 couples and we all had a great time. We have stayed here before with our family and both times were great!

The house was beautiful! It was the best stocked house we have ever rented with VRBO. It was conveniently located to numerous attractions.

Our gang of 14 had a marvelous time! The home is HGTV worthy and has one of the best equipped kitchens I have ever stayed in. The little park and beach were the highlight too! Stay here - you won’t be disappointed!

We had an absolutely excellent stay! Everything was so nice and clean and very well stocked. We had our whole family with 3 small kids and they had an absolute blast. They loved the beach and the playground especially and it was so convenient to have right there! The house was big and worked so well for our family!

Perfect for the 12 of us. Kids, teens and adults alike were able to enjoy our time at the lake and Cedar Point. Literally everything we needed and the place was spotless. Everyone had a fabulous time! Even had a few cribs for the babies. Spectacular!

This property was perfect for our family of 14 for a long weekend away. The park and playground across the street was wonderful for the 4 children (ages 6-3), and the beach access at the edge of the park was incredibly convenient. Nickel Plate beach is one of the widest and nicest beaches on Lake Erie and was only an 8 min drive away. The downtown Huron area and marina had live music and plenty of other entertainment options. Mark was an amazing host, and was available for all of our questions within minutes. We'd love to stay here again!

This is our 2nd year using this property for our family vacation. We love the closeness to Cedar Point and the lake. The home is perfect for the 16 of us!

The house was fantastic and the whole stay was excellent. Plenty of space and everything needed was available. Close to beach and also enjoyed Put-in-Bay and Nickle Plate Beach. We plan on returning next summer.

Perfect for family reunion with kids. The park and cove/ beach are directly in front of this house. Plenty of playground equipment. Plenty of beach toys/floats. Big gas grill. We met Mark the host and he went out of his way to accommodate our every wish. You will love this property. We will be back!

Beautifully updated, clean and spacious place for our family of 8 adults. Convenient to Cedar Point; short walk to nearby Lemmys for breakfast! Our 2nd stay here and would definitely return!

We have absolutely no complaints! Mark and his wife were wonderful to meet and had everything in the house you would need! We had 6 adults and 2 children and definitely could have had more people! We had an extra bedroom and never got into each others way. The house is set up perfect for a group and very close to Cedar Point. Our granddaughters loved the park by the house and we all loved walking by the water. A wonderful view of Lake Erie!

Beautiful property. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Well-equipped kitchen. Many amenities. Location on Rye Beach park was a big plus for playing ball with our 9 and 11-year-old grandsons, and also interacting with our 2-year-old grandson on the playground equipment. Close proximity to Ohio Rt. 2 leading to U.S. Rt. 250 with many restaurants and retail stores. Mark is a great host. Bottom line: Exceeded expectations!

Our family of 11 greatly enjoyed staying here. The house is so clean and spacious. We never ran out of hot water, which is something you don’t think about when booking with a large group. The kids enjoyed the park and we all enjoyed the beautiful view. Mark was great and so helpful! Not sure when we will get to come back, but will definitely stay here again!!

We had 12 members of our family for our 50th Wedding Anniversary for 3 days at the house. It was a perfect setting. All rooms are large and really worked well for our group. The open area on the first floor was always busy with activities. The view of the lake was great and the park right across the street was used a number of times even thought it was cold. Super house !

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay! We wanted a place where we could all be together and knew we would end up gathering in the kitchen/main area to hang out. This home offered the perfect layout for us all to be together and it was impeccably clean. Mark was a wonderful host and we are already trying to find our next celebration to come back.

The house and neighborhood were beautiful and charming. Probably the best property we have stayed at in the 15 years we have been taking girls trips! So much attention to detail and the most beautiful setting on the lake. Be sure to get up early as we saw the most incredible sunrises we have ever seen. I would 1000% recommend this house!

Mark's home was perfect for our family weekend. Having the extra yard space to play the provided outdoor games was a bonus! Three bedrooms and the first floor with a view of the lake was great! We would love to come back another time.

Beautiful home in a great location. Perfect for families with children of all ages. Directly across the street from a great little park - and the park is on the shores of Lake Erie. Super clean home that has more than you would ever need to stay and play or explore the area. The host is absolutely the best! He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. If you are considering this place - look no more, you will not be disappointed!

We had 3 individual families stay and had more than enough room for all of us. We all walked in saying "this is nicer than the pictures" The kids room had bunk beds that had a safe way to get up and down. The kids park and access to a small family beach were across the "street" and when I say street it's not a big busy street. We were able to watch the kids play from our window! The house was well stocked for all our meals that we cooked in. The house was so clean with the exception of some spiders which seemed to be a location thing not a house thing. The location was the best part of this house. With access to the kids park, the small beach and Nickleplate Beach 10 minutes away, this house had it all. Last thing that was amazing was Mark. He came to say hello, chatted with us and was responsive. We will be back again!

The house and location were exactly as advertised. Very clean and well equipped ( everything we needed ). Plenty of space for a large group of 14 ( very good sleeping arrangements ). Mark was helpful in explaining things and providing suggestions. Many games and sports equipment provided was helpful. Would highly recommend this listing to others.

We had a group of 14 and we had more than enough room for everyone. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for sitting inside or outside. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely come back!
