We loved this house so much we already want to book it for next year. Clean, spacious, plenty of seating inside and out, a 1+ mile walk to Nauset Light Beach, close to the rail trail, restaurants, bike rentals, mini-golf - it had it all. And the website didn’t even mention the swing set, the spacious backyard, the boogie boards or the ping pong and fussball tables in the basement!

Well stocked large home was great for our family of 11. Nice backyard for games and sitting on the patio for meals. Don was very responsive to questions about check-in and activities. Only challenge we had was that beach parking is a bit difficult. There is no drop off at Nauset Light beach anywhere (very strictly enforced as well). Just had to plan to get our cars there early with gear and then Others walked or rode down later. Lot fills up around. 9-930am. The beach is beautiful though and lots of space due to the restricted parking.

We found the house to be extremely clean and well appointed with everything you might need. The large kitchen has an amazing array of utensils, pots and pans for easy cooking, there are books, games, and the large basement with ping pong a great are for the kids to escape to

Our 3-generation family had a fantastic week at this home. It is close to everything the Cape has to offer. The house was spacious, quiet, comfortable, well equipped and had a large yard the children loved to play in. Our family has rented vacation homes for over 25 years and this is the first time no one had a single negative thing to say about the home we stayed in. Would definitely go back again.

Great location close to ocean beaches we love at National Seashore. House was more than enough room for our family of 10…6 adults and 4 children with plenty of privacy. The house was modern and up to date and very clean…we would highly recommend it!

The house was very clean, huge updated kitchen. Well-stocked with everything you could possibly need (wish we had known how well it was stocked before purchasing supplies for the week!) There is a huge backyard (we were pleasantly surprised as photos of this were not included in the listing.) Just under a mile to Nauset Light Beach, 1.5 to Coast Guard, and just shy of 15 min to Cahoon Hollow - so overall prime location. Neighbors were a bit testy, complaining about us having an outside BBQ at 7:30PM on a holiday weekend, so something to keep in mind if you have a larger group - we weren't really able to enjoy the outdoor area in the evening because we were nervous about additional complaints. But overall it was a lovely home and a great week.

My extended family and I enjoyed our stay at this large, updated house. The yard was expansive and private, and perfect for the kids to run around in. We spent every night on the patio, which was comfortable and large enough to fit the whole group. The inside of the house was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The amenities were much appreciated--from the air conditioner to the large screen televisions to the outdoor shower, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Wonderful experience and we hope to return to the house in future years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Have been coming to the Cape for years - Don's property was perfect for our extended family of 9. Plenty of room to spread out, large back yard and patio and close to everything (beaches, bike path, restaurants, shopping, etc.) Would not hesitate to stay again.

From start to finish this was a great experience and rental. Everything at the house was better and more equipped than we ever expected. The owners were amazing, right down to contacting us about clothes that were left in the dryer. And going over and above to get them to us! The location is perfectly situated for whatever Cape Cod experience you are looking for.

We had a great week at Don and Anne’s house! It’s a wonderful space for a large family. Comfortable sleeping for everyone. Great location - some of us biked to the beach every day so we only paid for one beach parking pass. The house is immaculate and the yard huge. Lots of room for lawn games and great fire pit for s’mores. We would definitely return!

All you may want for a holiday on the Cape location is superb with short distance to the Beach but even more importantly very close to bike trail which means many places are short (and safe - no major roads to cross) way away. We biked to Great Pond - 12 mins away every day. House has a great garden for kids and basement with fussball table and ping pong. Really all you need for a family vacation. Strongly recommended.

The outside of the house was charming and well kept. The inside was perfect for all of our needs. The kitchen was amazing (love the peninsula counter) and well stocked. The large sectional couch in the family was a huge hit and well used by all of us. We never felt on top of each as there was plenty of room to spread out all over the house and on the outside patio. The location is perfect - we rode bikes to Great Pond, the local tennis courts, Nauset Light Beach and Ben & Jerry's. We drove to the bay side to watch sunsets (free parking after 4:30PM I believe). Don was wonderful and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home for your getaway in Eastham!

We had a fantastic time at this house in Eastham. Our family (grandmother, three parents, and three teenagers) really enjoyed our stay here. We were very close to two beaches and within reach of several others as well as to the bike trails, which was wonderful! The house itself was very comfortable with ample sleeping areas for everyone and we could spread out when we wanted our own spaces. We also had room for all of us to sit together inside or outside. Although we didn't have any small children in our party, this house would have worked well, as the house had a high chair, an outdoor table for children, as well as a playset in the backyard. The basement had a ping pong table as well as boogie boards and beach umbrellas for our use. Many thanks to Don, as well, for answering our questions upon our arrival. We look forward to the opportunity to return!

A great house for a large group. Mix of adults and teenagers and everyone could be together or have space to spread out. Close to Nauset Light and The Rail Trail.

Our family group of 11 loved this property! Great places to be together or split up into smaller groups. We played frisbee in the backyard, rode bikes or drove to the beach, cooked in the beautiful kitchen, and enjoyed the extensive video library on rainy days. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a full bathroom in the master suite—three full bathrooms total plus an outdoor shower to clean up after beach days. Easy drive to both Nauset Light and Coast Guard beaches, as well as restaurants, shopping, and whale-watching excursions. The owner had stocked the house with many little extras that most houses don’t, such as coffee filters, spices, dish soap, playing cards, puzzles, books, etc. Overall, great place for a great vacation!

The house is large and the layout allows everyone to have their own space, if desired. We enjoyed the large kitchen and grill and had many fun dinners at home. The location is great and we enjoyed being able to bike to Nauset Light Beach, the bike trail to Wellfleet beaches and town and to Orleans and Nickerson Park. Some favorite local restaurants were Hole in One, Stewart's and Arnold's. Highly recommend this rental and we hope to return again next year.

Lovely home with great antiques throughout the house. Spacious back patio was a favorite hangout for the family. New gas grill with side burner. Enjoyed using the beach chairs and bicycles in the basement. Close to Wellfleet Drive-in, Arnold's, CC Rail Trail. Healthy mile walk to Nauset Light beach for seal watching. Quick ride across 6 to Cook's Brook Beach on the bay for great sunsets (and Ben & Jerry's on the way!). Location great for day trips to Provincetown or Chatham. Plenty of room for 11 of us coming & going throughout the week with room for a few more.

We had a wonderful time, the pictures of the home do not do it justice!! The bedrooms are very spacious. There was more than enough room to spread out and the layout is perfect for families with children who need to keep the noise down for older guests or the other way around when kids are sleeping. We loved the walk to the beach, great exercise everyday. But, you are able to drop off non-walkers just a bit away from Nauset Light and there were bikes to use. Bring bicycle locks. Great private yard, overall we would refer this to anyone and would definitely stay here again. Thankyou!

We spent last week vacationing in Eastham and had a great time. Joe was very easy to work with and the house was perfect for our large family. Anything you could possibly need is available in the house. It was clean, roomy with a backyard our grandkids enjoyed. Nauset light beach is down the street -- easy bike ride and beautiful beach. This was our second summer staying at this lovely home. It was very comfortable for our group that included two families with kids and grandparents. The living room and back patio make perfect gathering spots for the whole group, while the bedrooms provide quiet retreats. The kitchen is fully stocked and always clean. The backyard is also a great place for frisbee! My favorite part of this house, though, is its location. You can easily bike (even with young kids!) to Nauset Light Beach, which is priceless. What a wonderful way to spend the day! We got a permit and had a great campfire on the beach one night. Doesn't get much better than that. The bayside beaches are a quick car trip away, but you could also bike. The house is also not far from Ben & Jerry's, Arnolds, the bike shop. Joe is a responsive owner who communicates well with tenants. You won't be disappointed with this rental.

This is our fourth year renting this amazing home.. it has everything you could want! Location to beach and restaurants is ideal. Kitchen is fully stocked as well as a beautiful patio for home grilling!

What a GREAT time we have at the Acorn! As always the house was just like a home away from home. The property is everything and more! My husband and I have rented on the Cape for over 20 years and have always rented in the late spring and early fall during fishing season. Out of all the houses we have rented, the Acorn is by far the best! The location is ideal and it’s only 30 minutes north to P-Town and 30 minutes south to the shops in Hyannis. The beaches and the Great Pond are also just a stones through away along with bait shops, mini golf, a driving range, shopping and great restaurants. The house has a large back yard and a great patio for entertaining. The layout of the house is perfect and unique. The house itself has a beautiful large kitchen, dining room and living room with lots of space and comfy couches. The rooms really are as big as they look in the pictures and even more beautiful. Joe and his family have always made us feel welcome, and have made each vacation a memorable one with this wonderful home. This rental is a real find and we look forward to coming back for many years to come! In a word - wonderful! The house is deceptively large and was easily able to accomodate all 9 members of our family. The kitchen has a huge dining table which comfortably seats 8 (or 12 if you squeeze in a bit). And like the kitchen, the living room is comfortable and inviting with enough plush seating for everyone (and then some). At times, we had as many as 6 cars in the driveway - no problem. And like the photo, the driveway is horseshoe-shaped which allows for safe access to the road. You might think that with 5 bedrooms, they would not be much larger than a closet. No so. The master bedroom is nicely sized with a large bathroom. And while the other 2 bedrooms downstairs are smaller, the two upstairs bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The property is very nicely situated only a short drive or bike ride to the beach, but I particularly liked its proximity to both the Cape Cod Rail-Trail bike path and Nauset Kennels. How convenient to board your pet just down the road - close enough to visit on a daily basis, if you wish. The patio off the kitchen has all the amenities - gas grill AND charcoal - your choice. And the yard is large enough to support volleyball/badminton/frisbee/ladderball, or even whiffleball. Orleans has all the urban sprawl shopping you might need within a 15 minute ride, and P-town is only 30 minutes further down the road. The owner was a pleasure to work with - professional and prompt and provided us with all the information and support we could possibly need. All in all, it was truly a pleasure to call his place "our place" for the week. We look forward to staying there again soon (we hope!).

After 35 years of renting vacation homes in Eastham, two years ago I found this-perfect in EVERY way for my large extended family. This is a wonderful, spacious home with thoughtfully planned, well appointed rooms. The owner has provided ALL the modern conveniences needed to ensure a comfortable stay while maintaining the home's character and charm. The kitchen is very well equipped. The large patio is almost another room, affording plenty of seating, tables, etc. Beautiful yard with convenient circular driveway and plenty of parking. The location can't be beat! So close to beautiful Coast Guard & Nauset Light beaches and convenient to all kinds of activities, shopping, restaurants. This would be a GREAT place for a reunion of "Cape-loving" far-flung family to gather for Thanksgiving or Christmas! It's truly a wonderful "home away from home".
