We had a great time and really enjoyed the property. It was big and had a great open floor plan. It had everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. The family had a great time, spent more than one day just hanging out and playing games. The host were very friendly and enjoyed talking to them, as this was our first time in South Dakota. All around a great experience.

We had the best time together. We came to experience all the sites of South Dakota and we did! All the drives were beautiful from this location. The home was so spacious and the kitchen had everything you could need if you like to cook. The wildlife around the home kept us entertained—deer, wild turkeys and huge Magpies. The full-moon rising was spectacular. Bring your cameras and binoculars. You’ll wish you did.

Lovely site for exploring the Black Hills
The property and site is wonderful! The property itself is enormous, with beautiful hikes one can take just by walking out the door. The house itself is lovely, with very large communal spaces and a wonderful set of activities in the garage. Sharon was very helpful and accommodating. Our son demanded we bookmark the property to come back again!

Fantastic experience
We loved staying at this property. The scenery was fantastic and we had fun exploring the land around the house. It was just a few minutes to Wind Cave National Park and about 15 minutes to downtown Hot Springs. The owners were super helpful and found and mailed a camera charger we left before we even realized it was missing. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this was one of the best experiences we have had.

This was my first experience at a VRBO. Owner did a quick checkin with a different family member so hoping I did things right. It was a spacious place to stay, for a larger family. We had 5 adults and 6 smaller children. We were off the highway on gravel roads a few miles, but close to several attractions. Cows grazed right up to our doors so we dealt with a lot of flies. Owners live on the property which was a bit unusual, especially when they showed up unexpectedly and did a walk through. Don’t expect to do any work on your computer! Connections are very slow and not secure. One fridge and small freezer. Bring ice! Overall we enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Amazing!!!
It was so hard to leave this absolutely stunning home and property! Truthfully as amazing as the pictures are you have to be there to really see it for yourself. The views are unbelievable and the home owners are just wonderful! I can’t express enough how magnificent a place this is.

We had 10 family members staying. This house was perfect for us. We had enough room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. It was a very private and rural setting. We enjoyed watching the turkeys, deer, and birdwatching. We hiked around the large property several times. Sharon was available if we needed anything, but very respectful of our privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we had enough towels. The place is beautifully furnished, with much attention to details. There was a beautiful fireplace, and a large deck. We plan on making this our annual family reunion house. I very much recommend staying here. We'll be back!

Lovely home, great amenities, quiet area. Nice view! Young folks enjoyed the air hockey and table tennis other games in garage. And hiking in the area. It was so nice to have the option of eating outside or inside...plenty of space for 12 of us!

Remote and excellent star gazing

Wonderful vacation and perfect location
Our family had a wonderful time in the Black Hills area. Owners were kind, available for anything needed, but certainly were not obtrusive at all. Excellent Accommodations in the Great Outdoors!
We were looking to get away to enjoy some peace and quiet. This location was perfect! The home was comfortable, clean, spacious, warm and inviting. The owners Sharon and Perry, were extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We started out each day watching the sunrise followed by herds of deer feeding just below the house. After a full days activity exploring the Black Hills and Badlands, we would come back to enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace. This was truly one of the best vacations we've had!

Our whole experience at the Klein’s home was marvelous. The only thing that would have improve our time there, would have been if they had a pet buffalo. The home was clean, bright, always comfortable temperature wise. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals. The views from the kitchen and the dining-living room were beautiful and only got better when we sat out on the deck. We watched deer in the field and birds all around the property. We were near to Hot Springs if we need groceries, and near to all the parks. When we did not want to drive, we hiked on the property. We were sorry to leave the last morning, but the time there will always be a great and lasting memory. Tom Miller

Secluded beautiful location
While the house is a bit off the beaten path, that's part of the beauty of this spacious and comfortable home....the Black Hills views were amazing, especially for those coming from urban settings and first time visitors to South Dakota. The stars were out for us on a clear evening. The town of Hot Springs is a short drive away and has plenty of places to eat, shop for food and local handicrafts and artifacts, and enjoy some local tourist activities. The owners were very accommodating and helpful in answering our questions prior to and during our stay. Our group would highly recommend this home to other couples and families looking for a quiet location to relax and enjoy the outdoors., convenient to Black Hills attractions.

Hot Springs
Sharon was a perfect host and her husband Perry was very busy but took time to share a lot of information aboit the area. The ranch is a bit off the main road but very accessible by motorcycle. Beautiful hom.Spacious and comfortable. Tha video and pictures do not do it justice. On arrival we were all in awe of the fantastic view of the Big Country.. Sharon provided all the necessities.Sheets etc. A perfect host and always available to answer any questions we had. Thanks again .We had a gret stay.

We had a short stay over here in SD after being on the road almost two weeks. This was a great place to gather our wits for the final leg of our vacation. I enjoyed its spaciousness and privacy. The location is beautiful as is the home itself.

Great place for large groups
Nice place, perfect for large groups. Super comfortable beds. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, and saw a perfect double rainbow. So peaceful. Town was just a short drive. Great home base to explore the Black Hills
