Amazing time! David and Colleen are wonderful hosts. Cabin is beautiful and clean. The location of this cabin is amazing. You have access to a beautiful lake steps from the cabin and walking distance to the charming town of Fife Lake. We had a wonderful time kayaking, exploring local trails and learning about the history of Fife Lake. If ever back in the Traverse City area, this is where we will be staying. 😊

Very quiet and relaxing and peaceful. The house was everything we expected...very clean, bed was comfortable and the size was perfect for us. We never got around to using the kayaks but it was really nice that they were provided if we so desired. Would stay here again for sure.

We hit the perfect time with beautiful fall colors. The view of the lake was a great way to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning! I was very impressed by how clean it was as well. We will be back!

Reflections on Mirror Lake exceeded our expectations. Driving up to the property we immediately were taken in by the lovely street appeal of the home. Check in was a breeze and we were immediately greeted by the owner who owns the property next door. The home was bright, clean and spotless. It is well appointed and was PERFECT for our 3 night stay up north. The home is a great base station for exploring Traverse City and beyond. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We were impressed with the property from the moment we pulled in and then walking into the house was even better!! The house is absolutely spotless, nicely furnished and the owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Definitely a 10 out of 10! 5stars!!

This place was simply precious! The owners Colleen and Dave are so thoughtful with everything they provided. It was truly the best place I’ve ever rented. We were in the area for a weekend baseball tournament. Dave and Colleen's cottage made a busy weekend seem a bit more like a relaxing getaway. It felt like a home away from home. The cottage was nicely updated, clean, and we enjoyed having access to the kayaks for some time on Mirror Lake!

Quiet area. Clear and clean lake. Cute close by town. Overall great location and the property was very accomadting and clean.

David & Colleen have really created a perfect little get away spot, the house was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. I very much enjoyed my stay, my only complaint was the the weather didn't cooperate with my plans to try and use the fire pit. That said the front porch is about one of the most perfect spots to enjoy a cup of coffee, you'll ever find(Even if it's really cold out) 10/10- I have zero doubts I will stay here again.

We had the BEST experience with this hidden gem on Fife Lake. Hands down, the most CLEAN and comfortable place we have stayed. Colleen and David have left no stone unturned when it comes to their guests comfort and enjoyment. Everything is newly updated and beautiful. We will absolutely be staying here again and have already been spreading the word about this beautiful place. Beautiful view, kayaks, fire pit....truley a wonderful experience! We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. Very quiet and peaceful.

We loved staying here for the weekend for our 2year anniversary! The kitchen was stocked with all the gadgets we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the place itself looked newly remodeled and modern. It had everything we needed and more! Would love to come here again. The future. 5 stars all around!

This place was perfect to stay at for our extended weekend trip. They provide everything we needed for the time we spent in the cabin & had more than enough things to keep us entertained outside as well 😊10/10 would stay again….and plan too!

The owner lives upstairs and met us when we checked in. There was access to kayaks, but we didn’t use them. This area is close to Grand Haven which is a definite must see!

Great location and property. It was super clean, updated, and very convenient. Location is private and quiet with nice access right across the road to the lake. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of all the amenities, but it would be a great place to come back to in the future. Thank you!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay. Owners were very accommodating of a special request which we appreciated so much! House was so clean and cozy. Had steaks on the grill and went fishing, spent hours out on the trails. We will 100% be back, didn’t even cover a fraction of the woods, looking forward to a fall color tour! Wonderful place on a small lake and very close to a larger lake Fife Lake. Kitchen is well stocked and house is very clean. We will be back.

We loved staying in this comfortable "cabin" and had our coffee each morning on the front deck. The 'cabin' was clean and had everything we could want. Kayaks and bikes as well as a fire pit were available. We enjoyed The Loons Nest that was nearby for bkft. There are great places to walk and lakes to see. We would enjoy returning to this property.

A very nice and quaint cottage on the peaceful mirror lake. The cottage had all the necessities and then some. Owners, Dave and Colleen, went above and beyond to make travelers feel at home and welcome.

This house was a good size for my husband and I! It was very clean, the furniture was comfy, and appliances were nice and new! Fife Lake seems to be about a half hour from everywhere (sleeping bear dunes are an hour though!), which was perfect for us because we don’t like coming “home” to the hubbub of more populated areas. All the passing neighbors waved or said hi. It seems like a friendly small town! We didn’t use the bikes since we brought our own, but the kayaks, inner tubes, fire pit, and stakes for roasting marshmallows were great to have access to! Mirror lake is so pretty, and gets pretty warm so it’s good for a refreshing dip after hiking the many trails nearby! One thing I was surprised no other reviews mentioned, was that one of the little lakeside pull offs across the street is public, so there were people coming and going pretty often, but especially on the weekend. Depending on who is there, it can be sort of loud (there was a family fighting/screaming there on Sunday afternoon, for example). Fortunately you can’t hear it from inside, but this house has a great front porch to sit on, so if you’re out there you can hear them. It certainly isn’t a dealbreaker, I was just expecting it to be more secluded in that sense.

My daughter and I had an amazing time for a long weekend! The home is spotless and cozy. Everything you could want and need is available. Even the locals are super nice!

It was very peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we needed after planning and throwing a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. Great spot to stay and head to Traverse City or other spots. Thanks for a clean, cute, quiet place to stay! 😊
