What a great historic place!!! I would recommend to anyone!!! Plenty of wildlife and nature all around.

Coming in state to celebrate our son’s college graduation we wanted to be near Nashville but not in Nashville. This beautiful property hit the nail on the head! Room for all! Comfy beds and ample lounging areas also.Outdoor activities included yard games and a fire pit, which we fully enjoyed. 30 mins drive for all surrounding cities made it fun to venture out day and night. We found a fun dive bar in Ashland City called Main Street Hideaway aka Kings Bar. If you make it in please let the staff know Arizona says HI! Also, we dropped into a brewery nearby called Flytes Brewhouse. If that’s your thing stop in and try the peaches & cream. You won’t regret it! The owner offers so much passion and his hospitality is unmatched!
If ever we return to the area, this is our forever choice for lodging!

The home and grounds were so beautiful! The home is more spectacular than the pictures are able to show. I only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all the amenities offered. The home is extrememly spacious and provides ample room for a large group, if needed. Fabulous accommodations!

The pictures really don't do this home justice! The house is beautiful, inside and out. We were so surprised that the owner left us snacks and flowers. It was a nice touch!

My family convened at this amazing cabin for my moms 80th bday party. We cooked many meals, enjoyed the bonfire, played in the creek, and traveled to the Nashville sights. Great place, great hosts!

Long weekend away from Ohio! 6 adults and 4 children (ages 6,9,11,13)
We all enjoyed our weekend! Lots of fishing and wading in the creek. We had fires out in the yard and everyone was happy with the property! The enclosed front porch with a large swing and other furniture was enjoyed by all!

The images don't entirely do this place justice! It's a beautiful property with tons of room for a large group. Our party of 10 people fit easily - with beds for everyone. There was enough space for us all to visit and not feel crowded or on top of each other. The property was easy to find and in great shape. Highly recommend to any large group looking for a relaxing place to stay!

This house was great for our family! It was half between us and all 4 of our adult children and families. Plenty of room to spread out in the house and lots of room for the grandkids to run outside! We loved it just wish we all had had more time to stay longer!

Our family came from a few different areas of the country to the Birdsong Lodge to vacation together for the first time since our parents/grandparents had passed. Family trips were a huge part of our lives and we wanted to make granny and papaw proud coming together, reminiscing on past trips, and just spend quality family time. This home was perfect for exactly that! The rooms were perfect for private family space, while the great room, porch, kitchen, and fire pit brought plenty of memorable moments! The Birdsong Lodge was a great place for large family, girls only, weekend away. Lots of amenities, and easy drive to Nashville. The Lodge was clean, good beds, with plenty of space, and nice outdoor areas to hangout. We loved the front porch.

This was our third stay at the house and as usual did not disappoint. There were only 6 of us this time but we all had plenty of space and enjoyed sitting and talking. It was too hot to sit on the front enclosed porch. I would recommend this house for large families and I know we will be back.

Log cabin was very charming, over 100 years old. Well appointed and decorated. Plumbing was also 100 years old; water pressure not great but adequate. Wolf gas range. Gas grill out back. Fire pit. Plenty of seating in all rooms. Screened front porch with swing was a favorite hang out space. House NOT handicap accessible. 2 steps spanning the large opening from kitchen to rest of the house. Several thresholds uneven. Generally not a problem, but my 80 year old husband needed some assistance with steps. Outside was beautiful. We had a photographer take family pictures outside under trees, perfect setting. Overall, a wonderful setting for a group.

All went fine checking in. Plenty of space for all of us. Land was beautiful! Some great areas for family pictures!
Would have like to have more blinds & shades on bedroom windows for privacy & darkness to sleep! Still nice place!!

Joy in the Country
Check in was a breeze. Kitchen had utensils to prepare family meals for 14 people. Plenty of sleeping space and perfect living area for karaoke and games in the evening. The grounds were beautiful and provided lovely backdrop for sitting on the back terrace. Perfect place for our family week;I received many thanks from smiling faces.

Beautiful house and location
Had 8 friends that were due a get together and this was the perfect place lots of room to sit in groups or all together . The beds of course is not what we have at home but we all did sleep so not a big deal . The showers did not have a lot of water pressure that could be from the old pipes or just regular build up but we all managed to stay clean. It was nice to have a house fully stocked of the kitchen and laundry supplies and all those things you always forget to take. Hopefully it is available when we get together next year

Wonderful Weekend
The road noise, stink bugs, and lack of window coverings on some of the windows were the only negatives we had with the property. Birdsong Lodge provided all the space we needed for our family and was close to home. We loved the great room and screened in porch. We utilized the fire pit and enjoying each others company. The large kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. There was no lack for any item or thing we needed. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend to our friends or family.

Christmas weekend getaway with family
The family loved the cottage. There was plenty of space, activities and games for the children and all we needed for a nice stay. There were however several “stink bugs” that we had to constantly watch for and remove. One of my daughters also complained about an animal that ran back and forth in the attic above their bedroom which caused a lack of sleep. I also want to report a leak at the sink in the biggest Master bathroom. The hostess was wonderful and Christmas decorations were on point!

Great spot despite a little road noise
Beautiful place with tons of room inside and out. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the great room. We weren't expecting the road noise from the highway, but otherwise it was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful historic home with plenty of room. It is very comfortable and welcoming. There are plenty of amenities and supplies. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Incredible!
A group of friends from all over the country were holding an event to feed the homeless in Nashville in memory of a dear friend who was passed away in an accident earlier this year (13 Penguins Project) and stayed here during the visit. This place is amazing! Plenty of room, lovely views, and privacy. This event will be held yearly, and we'd love to use this place again next year if available. Thank you!

Perfect for a large family gathering!
We gathered here to celebrate the life of my uncle. The space was perfect to all be together in the large common area, but then retreat to our separate bedrooms and bathrooms. It's a beautiful and unique property and everyone loved it. Very nice messages from the host with easy check in and check out.

Perfect for family gatherings
We absolutely loved The Birdsong Lodge! We were all in awe of the beautiful setting and large house that was filled with character and charm. There were indoor and outdoor areas for gathering, as well as a large screened porch. I highly recommend The Birdsong lodge!

Thoroughly Enjoyed - Inside and Out!
Cheekwood Historic Birdsong Lodge was a wonderful stay for our annual family reunion. There was plenty of room for our group of 14. The property was comfortably furnished and well equipped for making dinners at home, relaxing (inside and out) and enjoying the bucolic setting. Communication with owners was great and all questions were quickly answered. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended.

Birdsong Lodge
We had 15 people stay there for 2 nights. Everyone loved it. It was clean and comfortable. Overall it was great! The only thing it was lacking was not all the windows had curtains/blinds which gave some an uncomfortable feeling and lack of privacy.
