We loved this location! The home had everything we needed for a great time at the beach. Owner was a great communicator. She was always quick to respond to our questions, provided restaurant recommendations and made some great suggestions on inside activities which we really appreciated and enjoyed since we had a few rainy days during our stay. We would stay again.

Fabulous quiet location, a minute or less walk to the beach. One of our favorite features of the house was the top deck balcony. It was wonderful, waking up, drinking coffee and being able to utilize it to experience the gorgeous sunrises and ocean view! The large main deck balcony is screened in and safe for little ones and small dogs to enjoy the ocean breeze with you. I also like the outdoor shower. It is obvious that the owner cares about the property and her Guests because every time, I stay here there have been improvements and upgrades to the property. I remember on one visit that the built in microwave was not working. Same day a counter top microwave was provided for my convenience. It’s always been the perfect beach getaway whether I am booking for a family trip or a girl’s weekend. My guests love it! The property is always extremely clean, there are plenty of towels, the kitchen has everything you need to cook and, toiletries/blow dryers are provided so less packing for me. Host is always accommodating. We will be back again and again!

We loved our stay at Coco Villa and enjoyed everything about this beach house. We will be booking this property again AND again, in the future. The host was VERY responsive and happy to make fun recommendations to restaurants and things to do in Galveston. We still can’t believe the value of this home for being so close to the beach. The home was very clean and in great condition. We appreciated that the home had plenty of rooms and beds to sleep our large group comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked. All of the smart tvs were large. I loved the ocean views from the 2 balconies and the screened-in porch. In my opinion, the property was everything and more than advertised online and shown in the pictures. I can’t wait to go back and take more friends!

WOW! The location of this home was amazing. Not only was it affordable but we were thrilled when we checked-in and realized it was a 30 second walk to the beach. The home is beautiful, very well-maintained and pet-friendly. The home’s layout was great, the beds were cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and all of the balconies and screen-in porch had ocean views. In addition, we really appreciated all of the downstairs amenities. It was convenient to grill then eat at the picnic table and the downstairs shower had hot & cold water which felt amazing after enjoying the sun, sand ocean’s surf. Plus, the beach is private so it was less crowded than the other surrounding beaches. We will definitely be coming back.

The owner was belligerent and combative. My son got some sort of allergic reaction or bed bugs or something from the dirt in that house. We ended up leaving early. What a nightmare. The location is great. There is an adorable restaurant by the west side marina less than a mile away, but choose a different house in this neighborhood. She also took 5 hours to respond to my initial text to get into the house. All in all, I wish I hadn’t gone. I would die before setting foot in that house again.

When we first walked into the house it had a sour smell. Probably from the ceiling in the living room because after 3 days it caved in leaving sheetrock, mold & debris everywhere. The owner didn’t send anyone to clean it up so we had to clean it ourselves. Per our conversations with the owner we thought she was going to fix it so we agreed to stay but that didn’t happen. The house smelled horrible and the front room was completely unusable. We requested a partial refund for the affected days but are still waiting to hear back on that. We would have left but she said she was going to bring in fans and ect to clean it up so we could stay but never did that. Cons: Bunk bed room remote didn’t work Living room tv didn’t work well The house wasn’t super clean. The covered patio had clumps of hair all over from previous tenants, we found dog bones in the living room and the layers of dust in drawers esp in the bathrooms were so gross. The bathroom not pictured is tiny (I figured that since it wasn’t pictured) The main bathtub had a hard time draining. The washer only worked on warm or hot. The stairs were steep inside the house esp for small kids or elderly people. The upstairs bed made a loud noise everytime you sit or turn in it. The ceiling fan also makes an annoying noise in that room if it’s on medium or high speed. Pros: close to the beach and the upper deck was nice

We enjoyed our stay in this well stocked split level home. The private master balcony and the enclosed first floor balcony were especially nice for privacy to enjoy partial views of the beach. Would recommend.

Owner was very responsive when reaching out to her, even talked on phone a few times. House was nice and had lots of upgrades, screened in porch was peaceful, and neighborhood/beach was very quiet and nice. Owner reached out due to being told by previous renter washer was not working and when I replied and we talked realized washer only worked on hot water setting. Owner had repair man out very next day and communicated what all was going on. She didnt want to interfer with our vacation with plumber/repair man. Great owner to work with and we will definetley return!

Lost power for a short time, some severe storms, water leaked in at the front door.

Property is great, the location and parking worked out good. Other than the screens on the porch in need of repair. Everything else was fine.

We had no internet when I called the owner she talked to me like I was a child and told me that the internet is not working when the internet was working it was just the wrong passcode

The property was disgusting dirty beds trash scattered everywhere I would have been completely embarrassed if the rest of our family would have showed up the same time we did we had to clean for 2 or 3 hours to make it presentable plus get rid of the smell

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. Prime distance to the beach. We had spotty internet, so tvs were difficult to watch but it not negatively impact our stay. Perfect size of home for a family of 4 with teens.

Went to Galveston to fish and enjoy the beach and accomplish both. This house is very close to a private beach with warm shallow water. The house isn’t spacious but definitely accommodated myself, 3 kids and my parents.

This property has an amazing view of the Gulf and the bay despite being in the second row of homes. Everything was clean and easy to use . It was quiet and cozy and easily accommodated our family of 5. We would love to come back again next year.

We had such a great time and the house was just what we needed.

I stayed in another place 2 days and decided to switch to this one due to a new house construction going on. This one was well equipped and the 2 days were night and day difference. Ill definatly be back.

Loved the master balcony and location. There were issues like roaches and a broken coffee maker. No sheet pans

My small family stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. There were a couple of issues that I communicated to the hosts and they were prompt with follow up and resolution. It was nice being so close to the beach.

Love love love this property! Perfect for our family/friends beach getaway! Just a few minutes from town if you want to go into Galveston and enjoy the attractions. But far enough from town to enjoy uncrowded private beach area!

Had a weeks worth of radiation at MD Anderson. In spite of less than desirable beach weather and three hours worth of driving every day, our stay on the beach made it so much better! Thanks for a great week in a great house!

We enjoyed this beach house with its ocean views and short walk to the beach. The house is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the large screen tv to watch the Astros. Tiffani is very communicative and had just replaced master bedroom mattress and a new roof. She is very responsive to her reviews and sincerely wants you to have a great stay. We will be back to enjoy this property again .

Only issue we had was the roof leak

It started out okay; but, didn't go like we had hoped. The check-in process went reasonably well. Upon arrival the unit appeared to have been surfaced cleaned. We proceeded to do a deep cleaning of our own just for peace of mind. Some changes have occurred since the listing photos were taken; however, it is mostly as advertised; but, a lot of the items are getting somewhat dated. We had a little difficulty unpacking because the master bedroom closet was locked so we had to put our luggage in the guest rooms. The bed in the master bedroom needs a new mattress. We couldn't sleep on it. On the bright side, the deck off of the master did have a great view of the gulf. The morning after our first night's stay we were informed by the property owner that a repairman would be coming but would only be working outside. Mind you, we did not ask for any repairs. We were just hoping for a quiet vacation. A few minutes after his arrival, there was a knock on the door and the repairman said he needed to come in to fix a leak. I informed him that we were told he would not be coming inside. He said he was told to fix it and he had to do it from the inside. I asked him to make it quick because we didn't want to miss getting to go to the beach. After several hours he had the main floor area in disarray and we found ourselves banished to the bedrooms. After taking up most of the day we contacted the property owner to ask if she could get him to leave. By the time he had put everything back in place we had missed our day at the beach. At this point we were pretty miserable and upon hearing the weather report for the next several days called for thunderstorms we had lost our desire to be there. So after 1 night of a scheduled 6 night stay, we packed up and headed home. After cleaning the unit again and making sure everything was in perfect order we informed the property owner that we had checked out. Instead of offering us some kind of compensation, the property owner became annoyed that we left without a good explanation and accused us of poor communication. This was one trip where it felt good just to get back home.
