Villa Nova es un desarrollo exclusivo en la histórica ciudad de St Remy de Provence. Dentro del desarrollo hay 15 casas adosadas, construidas en 2005, y la villa de época original, que data de 1896, ahora convertida en 4 apartamentos. Villa Nova es un sitio seguro y cerrado con estacionamiento privado y jardines en el patio que ofrece una base tranquila para su estadía en esta maravillosa ciudad. This property exceeded our expectations. It was in an excellent, central location, was comfortable and well -appointed. Everything we could possibly have wanted was provided by our very thoughtful and gracious host. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was a very relaxing place to stay with elegant surroundings, close enough to walk to the lively heart of the town but away from traffic and noise. Set in private, peaceful grounds. Well equipped; excellent communication and contact with the manager. A lovely, comfortable place to stay. Probably best-suited to older families/groups due to the furnishing style and steep stairs. Would definitely stay there again if re-visiting the area.

This townhouse does not disappoint! We spent a week there and were extremely impressed with how perfect the location was for walking to everything, as well as the comfortable furnishings and well appointed kitchen! Julie was a caring and easy to communicate with host. We felt so lucky to have found this place and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful home and thoughtfully appointed. Host is attentive and has decorated her home beautifully and made it comfortable for her guests. With a short 3-4 minute walk to town, the charm of Villa Nova blends the old with the new. We look forward to staying here again!

Amazing Property
This Townhome is located inside St. Remy . You have a Patisserie just down the street and centrally located for all the restaurants and shops. The property itself is pristine and fully stocked and furnished . Some of our favorite nights were sitting outside on the porch eating some great foods we found that day and drinking wine . Have fun!!!!

Très bon séjour à Saint Rémy de Provence
La maison est spacieuse, confortable et en parfait état. La chambre parentale est très grande avec de beaux placards et une salle de bain attenante.
Ce logement est très bien meublé, tous les ustensiles utiles sont présents.
Le jardin est calme et très agréable.
Nous recommandons fortement cette maison situé à 5 minutes du centre ville.

Perfect rental in St Remy
Beautiful property on the grounds of an old chateau, with a garden and parking. Easy walking distance to St Remy and it’s wonderful shops, restaurants, etc.
Julie, the property manager, left detailed instructions and was very helpful. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked ( which was great as we enjoyed cooking our purchases from the Marche).
Will definitely rent this property again if we return to St Remy!

The Villa is well presented and very clean. The facilities for self catering are more than adequate however you are located a five minute walk from St Remy with it's host of restaurants for nights out. Try The Marilyn the best and cheapest we visited.

Wie schon beim letzten Mal war der Aufenthalt in der Villa Nova perfekt. Trotz 40 Grad Außentemperatur war die Wohnung wunderbar gekühlt und die Perle Julie hat uns traumhaft umsorgt. Wir kommen wieder........

It is a beautiful house, exactly as pictured. Beds are comfortable as is the furniture. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook- a little or a lot. Everything in St. Remy is within walking distance- bakeries, groceries, many restaurants of all types and prices, shopping, the local markets, the Roman Ruins and the sanitarium where Van Gogh spent some time toward the end of his life. It was a good starting point to visit the hill towns, Avignon, Arles, Les Baux, the Camargue, etc. Julie was there to greet us and explain the washing machine, stove, and dishwasher- for the American visitors who, perhaps like us, are often perplexed by the workings of European appliances. Gorgeous townhouse in a beautiful town
Our family of four (adults) was extremely pleased with this well-maintained, very clean, well-equipped contemporary townhouse in St-Remy-de-Provence and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful and historic town. The property exceeds its HomeAway listing description in terms of comfort and convenience.
The building itself is one of several facing an attractive open courtyard adjacent to a secured car park. The ground floor rooms take advantage of an open plan design (kitchen/dining area and living room) which made the rooms feel quite spacious for the four of us. The house has a pleasant private patio containing a table and four chairs, perfect for an early evening glass of wine and conversation, which we took advantage of.
The two bedrooms on the next floor up are a good size and very comfortable, and share a large, modern bathroom. The spacious master suite on the top floor is well-designed, and has its own en-suite bathroom. Besides having a king bed, this large bedroom also contains a loveseat and a flat screen television, along with two comfortable armchairs. There is also a powder room (toilet and washbasin) on the ground floor.
While we never met our host, Julie, she was very responsive to our questions about check-in and departure, and on how to access the English language television channels. We also took advantage of the house’s central air conditioning a few times, in the evenings.
The local boulangerie down the street (Avenue Fauconnet) has exceptionally good bread and pastries and the large Intermarche Super grocery store at the edge of the town (Route D99) has a broad selection of supermarket items.
The timing of our visit couldn’t have been better. The weather in late September was sunny and dry, with some days warmer and some cooler. We also were fortunate to have arrived when the town was having its Fetes Votives (or abrivado-bandido), a unique local event involving bulls and “cowboys.” We did not expect to see bulls running through the streets, but we did. The town is beautiful, and the surrounding area has many nearby attractions.
We would gladly rent this property again, and recommend it to friends.

Perfect location, beautiful home, well appointed
A short walk (3-4 mins) into town, this townhouse was the perfect base for us to explore the Roman circuits (Glanum, Arles, pont de gard), the villages of the Luberon and the Alpilles Park. This home is perfectly and thoughtfully appointed. The charm in in the details. After 24 hours in transit, we arrived and found a home that had all the essentials you could need - coffee, toilet paper (!), dish / laundry soap, basic spices and condiments. Not a single detail was overlooked. Thank you Julie for guiding us post arrival. The AC was a godsend. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Note - excellent bakery is about 200 meters away. Closest grocery store is SPAR about 500 meters, just past the church.

Comfortable, Spacious and Wonderfully Located
My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasurable 2 weeks in this beautiful townhouse, which is ideally located for walks into town and also for exploring the area by car. The success of out stay was in no small part due to the attention and efforts of the property manager, Julie Palmer. No surprises or problems with this young woman in the picture. The furnishings are very comfortable and everything needed for cooking and habitation is provided, and all of first-rate quality. Would stay again anytime.

Best of all worlds in St Remy!
Just returned from a 20 day European vacation with my husband and 19 and 22 year old daughters. This townhouse was our favorite lodging. It had the charm of the old, but with the good A/C and other comforts of "new".
This compound is a grouping of 8 year old town homes around a 19th century building, also converted to apartments. The new ones were so well designed they look very similar and blend well with the old building; however, as mentioned above, they have all the modern conveniences and comforts. The compound is very secure and requires a key for entry/exit, and when you are inside the compound you feel very isolated. As you exit the compound you take a left and walk a couple blocks to the main square, so the convenience is great.
The TV has English language stations, an added bonus.
Communication with Julie was excellent before, during and after our stay. I truly recommend this highly if you are traveling with a family.

St. Remy Luxury
This is a first class property on exclusive, private and gated grounds. Our townhouse was indeed deluxe. Highly recommended. The individual who manages the rental is very nice and very helpful (not supposed to use her name) St. Remy is a fairly charming little town with many restaurants and shops all within short walking distance. Centrally located to most sights in Provence. Highly recommended.

PERFECT
We were 2 couples, planning on staying in St. Remy for a week. The townhouse could not have been more perfect. It was close to town, so we walked to get pastries, fruit, & for our evening meals.
The townhouse is located in a gated area, with paring available. It was completely stocked with whatever we needed. When we asked for some additional Nespresso pods, (which we love), Julie, the manager, brought them right over. Julie also provided us with restaurant recommendations, and ideas for some excursions. She is a lovely person, efficient, but so friendly and capable.
We would recommend renting this townhouse. It is modern, clean, with 2 complete bathrooms, & a toilet on the main level. The stairs can be a bit tricky, although one person in our group just had knee surgery & he did well.
Restaurants in the area were all great, especially Le Decale
& Bistro DeCouverte
The market on Wed is wonderful. We bought some mini watercolors which we loved. The shops are great, very friendly & helpful
As you can tell, we loved everything about this charming village. The choices that we made for our stay could not have been better!

Wonderful litle St Remy
Perfectly located in the litle town of St Remy. Accomodtions were clean and comfortable for our group of 6. St Remy is perfectly located for day trips to all Provence has to offer. St Remy also has great litle restaurants, market day, patisseries, boulangeries, etc. Villa Nova is a short walk to the central area of town and shops. Grounds of Villa Nova complex were neatly groomed and well maintained. The apartment was perfect with 3 bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, large living and dining area, great kitchen and very nice patio area with awning. We definately would go back.

A real find
We had two couples sharing the villa in late July. This is a first rate villa. Well designed and very well located in St Remy. Boulangerie was only three minutes away. Rest of St Remy was another two minutes further. Everything was as promised and Julie provided great service as well as helpful tips for getting around the area.

Amazing property in a beautiful village and area
This townhouse is absolutely fantastic for any family. It is very luxurious. Fully equiped kitchen. Everything is in perfect condition. The master suite is as beautiful as it can be. Our family of 5 loved it. The town of Saint-Rémy is a very nice town with lots of amenities such as restaurants, cafés, bakeries and shops. It is also located in the heart of the Provence which is perfect for day trips in Avignon or Les Baux. I would also add that Julie, the person in charge of renting the apartment gives an excellent service. Would recommend to any friend.

st remy vacation
Our stay at Villa Nova was wonderful and much exceeded all expectations. It was my first time renting a vacation villa and I was very pleased with the accommodations. It was clean, spacious(sleeps 6),beds were comfortable,nicely furnished,well equipped kitchen,parking inside the gated villa area,outside patio eating, well I could go on and on. The town of St. Remy is very central to the sites of Provence and my family felt it was just the right size to stay in with good restaurants,shops,food markets,etc. Julie was great to work with and very helpful and the neighbors in Villa Nova were very nice(we tried hard to respect their space as they live there and are not short term residents. I would highly recommend Villa Nova.

Visitors from the US
Our stay in St. Remy was absolutely wonderful and part of what made it so enjoyable was the accomodations. The pictures describe it well, but it is even better when you actually arrive. The gardens are wonderful, with lavendar and a flowering arbor. This all leads to a well decorated, spaciouse townhome. The kitchen was wonderful, it had all we needed to cook - which we actually did a lot of - and enjoyed late dinners under the canopy on the patio looking at the beautiful courtyard. There were two couples, and we could have easily accomodated two more people.
Our host provided us with a wonderful tour of the homes amenities which included: wi-fi, movies, dvd, I pod connections and air conditioning throughout, which in July was quite welcome during the day.
It was an easy walk to town just 5 or so minutes, just enough for quite and peace in the evenings.
I can't say enough about how nice this home was and would definitely recommend it. We plan to return and stay again in this idyllic setting.
