The property and host were fabulous. It was clean, with a well stocked kitchen, games avaliable to play, and nicely decorated.
There was an issue that needed attention and unfortunately the host was traveling back from vacation and unable to be reached until the next day. This wasn't the fault of the host, they need a vacation too.
My complaint is with VRBO. It is my opinion that VRBO needs to have backup contact numbers of folks in addition to the owner in the event that something comes up that needs attention in a timely manner that can't wait until the next day. Hopefully VRBO will see this review and take this policy change into consideration.

The property worked well for our family; I was traveling with 2 kids and a nanny. Plenty of space with a well stocked kitchen. Everything as described. Super easy check in and great restaurant and activity recommendations. It was nice to have beach chairs, umbrella and towels.

Hostess Nest was the perfect location for our girls weekend trip to Savannah! There was ample room for the 5 of us to move about freely for group time/activities as well as private time. We were conveniently located for walking or short ride to parks, river area or tour pickup spots. One bonus during our weekend was the St Pat’s Day parade which was also a short walk away! Also took a little trip to Tybee Island for a couple of hours on the beach and quick stop to the Tybee Lighthouse! Would definitely recommend Hostess Nest!

Our group of 5 absolutely loved our stay! The size of the home was perfect, plenty of space and we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The living room was comfortable for spending time together, and the dining room was plenty big enough for meals. We loved the games, and felt comfortable with everything we needed . The home is very convenient to walk to many places and on the chance you want to explore further out driving was easy.

This was a lovely townhome, conveniently located for walking or driving. We noted one small repair needed and response was immediate. Our only caution would be the stairs going to upstairs bedrooms. We were seniors and used extra caution. As with all 100+ yr old homes, stairs are steep….But, overall, our stay was great!

This is a very nice historic property. It was awesome to have all the amenities and complementary wine! We loved that there were three bathrooms! We were able to manage the Nest thermostat, but it seemed like the upstairs unit had a hard time keeping up as it was fairly warm up there until late evening. It was awesome having two parking spots and we were glad that we did not have super large vehicles. Temi was very responsive and advised us that the home alarm system had been disabled, but she did assure us that the area was safe.

We booked this house to celebrate my 60th birthday. It is a lovely historic home with charm. There were 4 adult women. My sister and I shared the master bedroom with the king bed. The other 2 women had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. It was perfect! We didn’t cook any meals there as Savannah has so many options to eat great food. This house is on the very edge of the historic district. We felt safe and walked all around the city all the way to the river area during the day. I wouldn’t walk back home late at night. Definitely would recommend!

Our stay at Hostess Nest was so amazing. We could not get over the southern charm inside the house and the pictures are exactly what you get! I will also say, we could not get over the smell inside, it was clean and light and lovely. The owner of the property was extremely responsive with the questions I had and very accommodating. It is such a great location and the host went above and beyond to have ideas and bars and things to do all inside a binder for anything you were looking for. We would absolutely stay here again!! Wonderful stay at Hostess Nest!
We loved staying in this beautiful, funky part of downtown Savannah. A group of us attended a wedding nearby and loved our proximity to bars, restaurants and Forsyth Park - everything is walkable! Temi, our host, let us check in a little early. The house is cute, comfortable and charming, and it was nice to have en suite bathrooms for each room. The back patio was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather.

We were a group of 6 ladies and the townhouse was great for us. Not only was the townhouse very nice the location was great. We attended an event at the civic center, caught the trolley to go to River Street and went to the Savannah Historic Theater without ever moving our cars. We’re already talking about a return trip.

Everything you need and more
My husband and I rented the condo for a get together with old high school friends. There were three couples. The condo is three bedroom with three baths. Perfect!!! It is a bit older but very quaint and exactly what you want in Savanna. We were able to walk to River Walk and all of the parks. The condo is well equipped with washer and dryer, plenty of dishes, large dining room with seating for eight. If it were summer there were towels and beach chairs to take to the beach. There were umbrellas placed in a standing basket at the back door. We all were very impressed, comfortable and pleased with this beautiful condo. Would choose to stay again in the future. Very pleased with everything about this rental.

Great Escape to Savannah
It was my friends and I celebrating our 50th birthdays. We loved the space and decor. Everything we needed was there. It's just as beautiful in person as it is in pictures. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars, even to River Street. It was a wonderful girls getaway.
